Yourelectric fireplace isfully assembled from the factory.
No assemblyisrequired tobeginusing the fireplace. There are nouser
serviceablepartsinside the fireplace. Ifthe unit appearstomalfunction,turn
the unit off and unplug the unit from the wall immediately. Please contact
CustomerService. Alterationofthe fireplace will void itswarranty and may
causethe fireplace tomalfunctionresulting in electricalshock,fire,death or
seriousbodilyinjuryorproperty damage.
WHILEIN USEANDFOR SEVERAL MINUTESTHEREAFTER,THE
FIREPLACEUNIT CANGETHOT INCLUDING,BUTNOT LIMITEDTO, THETOP
CENTER OF THEFIREPLACE. KEEP CHILDRENAWAY FROMTHE FIREPLACE AT
ALL TIMESTOAVOIDBURN,SHOCKOR SERIOUSINJURY OR DEATH. Always
supervisechildren toensurethey donot play with ortouch the fireplace. Do
not place any cloth,decorationsorothercombustible materialoverthe
fireplace outlet ofthe fireplace,orotherwise obstruct the fireplace outlet of
the fireplace,asthismay causeafireand seriousinjury ordeath may result.

This product mustbe grounded. This product is equipped with a cord havinganequipment-grounding
conductor and a groundingplug. The plugmustbe pluggedinto anappropriate outlet thatis properly
installed and grounded inaccordance with all localcodes and ordinances.
This fireplace is for useon 120 volts circuitand has a grounded plugthatlooks likethe oneillustrated on
Figure 1. See Figure 1for groundinginstruction. Anadapter as shown atCis availablefor connecting
three-bladegroundingtypeplugstotwo-slotreceptacles.Thegreengroundingplugextendingfromthe
adapter mustbe connected toa permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter
shouldnot be used if a three-slotgrounded receptacleis available.
Improper connection ofthe equipment-groundingconductor canresultina risk of
electricshock which maycauseserious injury, death or property damage. Check with
qualified electricianor service person if youareindoubt as towhether the product is
properlygrounded. Do not modifythe plugprovided with the product. Ifitwill not fit
theoutlet;haveaproperoutletinstalledbyqualifiedelectrician.
Note:
A15amp,120 voltcircuitisrequired.Adedicatedcircuitispreferredbutnotessential
inall cases. Adedicated circuitwill be required if, after installation, the circuitbreaker
trips or a fuseblows on a regularbasis when the fireplace is operating. Additional
appliances on the samecircuitmayexceed the current ratingofthe circuitbreaker .

Theremotecombines all thefunctions ofthefrontpanel controls for flexibility and conveniencewhen
changingdesiredsettings.
Thefirstthingtodowith theremotecontrolis toremovetheplasticsheetinsulated thebattery.(The
battery is supplied with theremotecontrol.) Replacementbatteries can bepurchaseat any electronics
store. Thepartnumber for thebattery is CR2025.Pleasefollowthesequencebelowtoreplacethe
battery.

This fireplaceis fitted with LED(LightEmittingDiode) bulbs in place of conventional
bulbs.These generatethesamelightlevels as convention bulbs,butuseafraction of
theenergy. These LEDbulbs aremaintenancefree and should not requirereplacing
duringthelife of theproduct.

CAN GET HOT INCLUDING,BUT NOT LIMITED TO,THETOP CENTER OFTHEFIREPLACE.
Use caution beforeattemptinganymaintenanceorcleaningto reducetheriskof fire,
electric shock,injuryordeath.
When transportingorstoringtheunit and cord,makecertain unit
is unplugged and has had timetocooldown.Thefireplaceand cord should bekeptin a
dryplace,free fromexcessivevibration ordustand stored soas to avoid damage.
Beforecleaningthefireplace,makesureit has been shutoff,unplugged and it has had
timetocooldown toavoid theriskof burns,fire,shock,serious injuryordeath.Dust
theunit usingaclean drycloth.Use warmwaterand aclean cloth to wipeoff all
painted surfaces.Donotuseabrasivecleaners.
Use astandard non-flammableglass cleanerfortheglass panel of theunit.
