four wheel drive? Then there’s the 4x4, or the even
more adventurous Scout.
Every Škoda is covered by Škoda Roadside Assistance.
So if you break down, even if you’re on holiday or on
business in Europe, you can use the freephone
number to call someone to come and help you.
Best of all it’s completely free for 3 years.
With driver and passenger front and side airbags as
standard on all models, the new Octavia has safety at
its core. The newly designed front headrests, which
are standard across the range, have been developed
with a new shape which help to protect your spine
by minimising the effects of whiplash in an accident.
Standard on Elegance trim and above is a 3.5mm
aux in socket. This allows MP3 players to be played
through the radio, but with control remaining on the
MP3 player. The optional MDI unit is a step forward in
in-car multimedia. This allows you to play and control
your MP3 music files through the radio.
Get great acceleration, performance and fuel
economy with the Octavia’s DSG gearbox.
Previously available only on diesel engines, the DSG
(Direct Shift Gearbox) is now available on both diesel
and petrol engines. Operating in fully automated or
manual tiptronic, the DSG uses the very latest
technology to ensure that comfortable gear shifting is
achieved with excellent performance, fuel economy
and of course acceleration.
Stay cool in the new Octavia with standard air
conditioning. Available as manual and dual zone,
air conditioning offers great advantages over
standard ventilation, keeping your car cool during
the summer months. Surprisingly, it also becomes an
effective tool in winter, demisting the windows faster
than standard ventilation. Not to mention the positive
effect that air conditioning has on the value of your
car when you come to change it.

The new Octavia is Škoda’s next step forward in the history of this award winning model. With some
design and functional improvements, the new Octavia improves on what was already a class leading
and award-winning predecessor.
With its improved exterior, the new Octavia marries classical good looks with a sense of dynamism, elegance
and sophistication. Inside, the Octavia benefits from new upholstery, new sound systems and new steering
wheels, ensuring that the feel of the interior is as new and exciting as the improvements on the outside.
Opening the bonnet unveils more powerful, more fuel efficient direct injection petrol and TDI engines behind
the newly shaped front grille. The list of comfort, functional and safety features is now even longer, and the
new contemporary interiors ensure an improvement in the driver’s and passenger’s experience.
The Octavia has always been based on the timeless appeal of value for money, and the latest incarnation
