Hartelijk dank voor de aanschaf van onze Skytec cd-speler.
Lees deze gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig door alvorens het apparaat in bedrijf te stellen.
Waarschuwing:
- Bewaar deze handleiding zodanig dat iedere gebruiker eerst de handleiding kan inzien voordat hij
het toestel gaat gebruiken.
- Alleen voor gebruik binnenshuis in een droge en schone omgeving.
- Blokkeer de ventilatie openingen niet, laat ruimte voor ventilatie.
- Stel dit apparaat niet aan te hoge temperaturen bloot.
- Voordat het apparaat gerepareerd of onderhouden wordt dient deze eerst losgekoppeld te worden
van het net.
- Verwijder of plaats een stekker nooit met natte handen resp. uit en in het stopcontact.
- Indien zowel stekker en/of netsnoer als snoeringang in het apparaat beschadigd zijn dient dit door
een vakman hersteld te worden.
- Indien het apparaat dermate beschadigd is dat inwendige (onder)delen zichtbaar zijn mag de stekker
NOOIT in het stopcontact worden geplaatst én het apparaat NOOIT worden ingeschakeld . Neem in
dit geval contact op met uw leverancier of SkyTronic BV.
- Sluit het apparaat alléén aan op een 230Vac/50Hz geaard stopcontact, verbonden met een 10-16A
meterkastgroep.
- Bij onweer altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact halen, zo ook wanneer het apparaat een poos niet
gebruikt wordt.
- Bij hergebruik kan condensatiewater gevormd worden; laat het apparaat eerst op kamertemperatuur
komen.
- Bij het verwijderen van de stekker uit het stopcontact nooit aan het netsnoer trekken.
- Gebruik geen chemische schoonmaakmiddelen voor het schoonmaken van het toestel, gebruik een
door uw leverancier voorgeschreven schoonmaakmiddel.
- De CD speler is voorzien van een CLASS I laser, open daarom het toestel nooit zelf maar laat die over
aan gekwalificeerd personeel.
Tips voor een veilig gebruik
Let er bij plaatsing op dat afspeler niet blootgesteld wordt aan hoge temperaturen of een hoge
luchtvochtigheid. Blijf uit de buurt van apparatuur die bromstoringen zou kunnen veroorzaken zoals
elektromotoren, magnetrons of transformatoren. Laat de behuizing dicht, eventuele reparaties dienen te
geschieden door een erkende servicetechnicus. Gebruik uitsluitend schone en krasvrije CD’s. CD’s welke
op een of andere wijze zijn beschadigd mogen absoluut niet geplaatst worden om beschadiging van de
laserafspeeleenheid te voorkomen. Schakel eerst het toestel uit voordat u het netsnoer en aansluitsnoeren
verwijdert. Verwijder netsnoer en aansluitsnoeren voordat u de afspeler gaat verplaatsen. Reinig de kast
uitsluitend met een schone droge doek. Plaats de speler achter op een vlakke ondergrond en zorg ervoor dat
hij niet onder een hoek staat van meer dan 15graden.
DE DUBBELE AFSPEELEENHEID
1. CD

LADE 1
De CD lade wordt geopend en gesloten door op de druktoets 

te drukken, maar deze kan ook
bediend worden met druktoets (1) op de linker besturingseenheid.
2. VERLICHTING, een heldere witte LED.
3. OPEN/CLOSE (druktoetsen voor de CD lades)
Druk eerst op de STOP of PAUZE toets.
4. NETSCHAKELAAR AAN/UIT
5. CD LADE 2,deze afspeelunit wordt bediend met de rechter besturingseenheid.
STUUREENHEID MET BEDIENINGSTOETSEN
BESCHRIJVING VAN DE BEDIENINGSTOETSEN
1. OPEN/CLOSE
Toets voor het openen en sluiten van de CD lade. Deze toets werkt alleen in de pauze of stop stand.
2. TIME/STOP
Voor het wijzigen van de tijdsaanduiding in het display. Geeft keuze tussen aanduiding in verstreken,
overblijvende of totale speeltijd van een CD. Indien de toets langer dan 3 seconden wordt ingedrukt, wordt
de STOP stand geactiveerd. In het display wordt dan de totale speeltijd en het aantal tracks van de geladen
CD getoond.
3. CONTINUE/SINGLE toets
Met deze toets kunt u de volgende drie afspeelmethoden kiezen:
a) auto-cue single, alle tracks worden afgespeeld maar aan het begin van elke track stopt het afspelen en
wordt de pauzestand automatisch ingeschakeld.
b) continue, de gehele CD wordt zonder onderbreking afgespeeld.
c) outro, de afspeler speelt van elke track op de CD de laatste 30 seconden. Schakel deze functie in door de
cont/single toets langer dan 3 seconden ingedrukt te houden. Uitschakelen geschiedt door het indrukken
van de toets time/stop.
De functies a, b en c worden aangegeven in het display.

4. LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY
Uitleesvenster met aanduiding van tracknummer, de speeltijd en andere functies. Een lange horizontale balk
geeft de resterende speeltijd aan, de balk knippert over de volle lengte bij het aanbreken van de laatste 30
seconden speeltijd van de track.
5. MT druktoets
Met deze toets ingedrukt wordt de toonhoogte teruggebracht naar de originele hoogte (Master Tempo).
Zodat u met schuifregelaar (11) alleen de snelheid regelt.
6. PITCH (toonhoogte) keuzetoets
Hiermee kunt u de maximale snelheidsvariatie, regelbaar met de schuifregelaar (11), instellen. ( plus of min
8, 16, 32 of 100%)
7. RELAY toets Deze toets is eenmaal aanwezig!
Wanneer de relay functie is ingeschakeld, het rode lampje knippert dan, schakelt het toestel automatisch
tussen de afspeeleenheden. Een druk op de PLAY toets schakelt de betreffende afspeler in terwijl de andere
automatisch in de PAUZE stand wordt gezet.
8. PROGRAM toets (met groene LED)
Met deze functie kunt u een keuze uit de af te spelen tracks programmeren. Deze functie werkt uitsluitend in
de STOP stand. Druk de STOP toets (2) langer dan 3 seconden in tot de aanduiding met het totaal aantal
tracks van de CD zichtbaar is. Druk vervolgens op de PROGRAM toets. P-01 is nu zichtbaar in het display.
Kies met de track toetsen (13) de gewenste track en druk weer op de PROGRAM toets om uw keuze vast te
leggen. Het groene lampje gaat nu branden als indicatie dat er een tracknummer in het geheugen is
opgeslagen. De aanduiding P-02 wordt nu zichtbaar en u kunt de volgende track op dezelfde wijze
vastleggen. U kunt zo tot 30 tracks per CD selecteren. Na het indrukken van de PLAY toets (12) worden dan
alleen de geselecteerde tracks afgespeeld. Deze selectie wordt gewist na het openen van de CD lade.
9. PITCH BEND +/- toetsen
Door het indrukken van deze toetsen kunt u de afspeelsnelheid van de CD kortstondig beïnvloeden. Na het
loslaten van de toets wordt de standaard afspeelsnelheid automatisch weer teruggeregeld.
10. PITCH ON/OFF toets
Met deze toets activeert u de schuifregelaar (11) waarmee u de afspeelsnelheid kunt instellen.
11. SCHUIFREGELAAR voor de instelling van de afspeelsnelheid..
12. BPM toets (beats per minute)
Kort indrukken van deze toets laat in het display het ritme van de muziek in "beats per minute" zien. Houdt u
deze toets langer dan 3 seconden ingedrukt, dan begint de aanduiding BEAT te knipperen. U kunt nu zelf het
ritme bepalen door de BPM toets op de maat van de muziek in te drukken. Houd de BPM toets langer dan 3
sec ingedrukt tot de BEAT aanduiding niet meer knippert. Druk dan nog een keer op de BPM toets om de
BPM functie weer uit te schakelen.
13. TRACK +/-/10+
Met deze toetsen kunt u naar elke gewenste track op de CD springen.
14. SEARCH toetsen links of rechts.
Voor het versneld vooruit of achteruit afspelen.
15. PLAY/PAUZE toets
Voor het starten van de afspeelfunctie en het inschakelen van de pauzestand.
16. SEAMLESS LOOP functie
Deze functie biedt de mogelijkheid een bepaald gedeelte van de CD continue herhaald af te spelen. Druk op
PLAY om het afspelen te starten. Ga met behulp van de SEARCH toetsen naar het gewenste startpunt en
druk op de bovenste toets A. Het startpunt wordt nu vastgelegd in het geheugen. Druk na verloop van tijd op
de bovenste toets B om het eindpunt van de lus (loop) vast te leggen. Het gemarkeerde muziekgedeelte

wordt nu automatisch herhaald. Tussentijds terugspringen naar het startpunt is mogelijk door op de
bovenste toets RELOOP te drukken. U kunt een tweede SEAMLESS LOOP (eindloze lus) vastleggen met de
onderste rij A/B/RELOOP toetsen. De gekozen muziekgedeeltes mogen elkaar overlappen. Verlaat een
geprogrammeerde lus door op de bijbehorende toets B/EXIT te drukken. De geprogrammeerde lussen
worden gewist wanneer de CD uit de afspeeleenheid wordt genomen. N.B! de minimale tijdsduur tussen het
A en het B punt mag niet minder dan 20 frames bedragen.
17. CUE toets
De CUE functie geeft u de mogelijkheid terug te springen naar een van tevoren gemarkeerd punt op de CD.
Dit punt markeert u door de PAUZEstand in te schakelen en daarna op de CUE toets te drukken. Druk daarna
tijdens het afspelen op de CUE toets en de speler springt terug naar het eerder gemarkeerde CUE punt. De
PAUZE stand is daarbij geactiveerd. Drukt u daarentegen op de BOP toets (18), dan gaat de afspeler
onmiddellijk door met afspelen vanaf het eerder gemarkeerde CUE punt.
CUE geheugen
U kunt in totaal vijf verschillende CUE (start) punten vastleggen per CD. Dit gaat als volgt: Druk tijdens het
afspelen op de PAUZE toets, druk daarna op de CUE toets, deze knippert even. Wanneer de CUE toets niet
meer knippert is het CUE punt vastgelegd en kunt u dit opslaan in het geheugen. Druk hiertoe kort op de
MEMO toets in het zwarte balkje (23) direct onder het display. De MEMO toets licht rood op, druk
vervolgens op de toets gemerkt nummer 1 direct rechts van de MEMO toets. Druk op toets PLAY om het
afspelen voort te zetten. U kunt zo vijf verschillende CUE punten per CD vastleggen. Druk op een van de
toetsen 1 t/m 5 om terug te springen naar de vastgelegde CUE punten. Drukt u op de BOP toets dan springt
de afspeler altijd terug naar het laatst geprogrammeerde CUE punt. De ingestelde CUE punten worden
gewist wanneer de CD wordt verwijderd.
CD geheugenfunctie
Per CD kunt u tot vijf verschillende CUE punten vastleggen in het geheugen tot een totaal van 255 CD's.
Houd de MEMO toets (in het zwarte CUE balkje) ingedrukt tot het groene lampje gaat branden. De
geheugenfunctie is nu ingeschakeld. Zorg er voor dat het groene lampje brandt wanneer u een CD plaatst.
Tijdens het inlezen van de CD ( aanduiding 'read' in het display ) wordt de CD dan herkend aan het aantal
tracks en de speelduur, de eerder vastgelegde CUE punten worden dan opnieuw geactiveerd.
18. BOP toets
Door het indrukken van deze toets springt de afspeler terug naar het laatst vastgelegde CUE punt en speelt
daarna direct weer verder. Indrukken van de CUE toets het hetzelfde effect, maar de pauzestand wordt dan
ingeschakeld.
19. JOG draaiwiel
Met dit grote, lichtlopende wiel worden een aantal functies bediend.
a) Tijdens het afspelen wordt de afspeelsnelheid verhoogd door dit wiel rechtsom te draaien en verlaagd
door het in de tegenovergestelde richting te bewegen.
b) In de pauzestand kan hiermee elk gewenst punt op de CD ingesteld worden. De instelling is zeer
nauwkeurig per frame te regelen. ( NB! 1 seconde standaard speeltijd bevat 74 frames )
c) Met het draaiwiel wordt het effect van de verschillende geluidseffecten geregeld. Deze instelling wordt
verder beschreven bij de uitleg van drukknop 21.
20. BRAKE toets
Na het indrukken van de BRAKE toets wordt het starten en stoppen door middel van de PLAY toets met een
'remeffect' vertraagd. Wanneer deze functie is ingeschakeld is de aanduiding BRAKE zichtbaar in het display.
De tijdsduur van dit "remeffect" kan worden ingesteld van 0,1 tot 5 seconden. Dit gaat als volgt: Houd de
'BRAKE' toets langer dan 3 seconden ingedrukt, in het display knippert nu de aanduiding 'BRAKE' en de
ingestelde 'remtijd' is zichtbaar. Deze tijd kunt u nu wijzigen met behulp van de 'SEARCH' toetsen (14). Druk,
om de nieuwe instelling vast te leggen, kort op de toets 'BRAKE' (20).
Na het uitschakelen van de netspanning wordt de 'remtijd' teruggezet naar de standaardwaarde van 2 sec.
21. ON/OFF (EFFECTS)
Het indrukken van deze toets activeert één van de vijf verschillende speciale geluidseffecten welke worden
aangegeven door de lampjes direct boven het JOG wiel (19). Knipperen de lampjes dan zijn de
geluidseffecten wel geselecteerd maar nog uitgeschakeld.
22. SELECT toets
Met deze toets kunt u kiezen uit de vijf verschillende geluidseffecten, tevens bedient deze toets de
'HOLD'functie. De geluidseffecten zijn:
a) SCRATCH effect, zet de afspeler in de pauzestand voor een optimaal effect.
b) FLANGER, een speciaal aanzwellend startend vliegtuig effect.
c) FILTER, toonfilter effect.

d) REVERB, echo effect.
e) REVERSE, de CD wordt achterstevoren afgespeeld.
De uitwerking van bovenvermelde geluidseffecten wordt geregeld door middel van de JOG draaiknop. De
sterkte van elk geluidseffect kan ook nog afzonderlijk worden ingesteld. Dit gaat als volgt:
a) Schakel de afspeelmode in door op toets PLAY (15) te drukken.
b) Schakel de geluidseffectmode in door kort op de toets ON/OFF (21) te drukken.
c) Kies met toets 'SELECT' (22) het te wijzigen geluidseffect. (b.v. filter, flanger of echo)
d) Houd nu de ON/OFF toets (21) langer dan 3 sec. ingedrukt tot het rode lampje boven de toets knippert.
e) In het display is de aanduiding EF met het cijfer nul (0) zichtbaar.
f) Druk langer dan 3 sec op de toets 'SELECT' (22) tot het lampje 'HOLD' brandt.
g) Regel met het JOG wiel (19) de sterkte van het speciale effect, de instelling loopt van min tot plus 1499.
h) Leg de instelling vervolgens vast door kort op de toets ON/OFF (21) te drukken.
i) Schakel de 'HOLD' functie desgewenst uit door langer dan 3 sec op de 'SELECT' toets te drukken.
Met het JOG wiel (19) kunt u nu de geluidseffecten regelen met al of niet ingeschakelde 'HOLD' functie.
Deze instellingen worden gewist na het openen van de Cd lade of het uitschakelen van de netspanning.
'HOLD' functie
Door langer dan 3 sec op de 'SELECT' toets te drukken kunt u de 'HOLD' functie in- of uitschakelen.
Met ingeschakelde 'HOLD'functie blijft de uitwerking van het geluidseffect zoals ingesteld met het JOG wiel
(19) staan en deze verandert alleen wanneer u aan het JOG wiel draait. Is de 'HOLD'functie daarentegen
uitgeschakeld dan wordt de instelling na een aantal seconden automatisch teruggeregeld.
23. CUE BEDIENINGSVELD/ SAM TOETS
De werking van de toetsen MEMO en de cijfertoetsen is reeds beschreven bij de hieraan gekoppelde functies
van de CUE toets (17).
Werking SAM (sample) toets
Het is mogelijk een muziekgedeelte van maximaal 8 seconden op te slaan in het geheugen. Dit opgeslagen
gedeelte kan op elk gewenst moment worden afgespeeld, ook tijdens het afspelen van een andere track
van de CD of zelfs een geheel andere CD. Het opslaan in het geheugen gaat door middel van de eerder
beschreven SEAMLESS LOOP functie (zie s.v.p. punt 16). Maak een SEAMLESS LOOP ( eindloze lus) met
de A en B toetsen zoals eerder beschreven, van minder dan 8 seconden lengte. Druk tijdens het afspelen
van de loop op de SAM toets. Deze knippert nu blauw om aan te geven dat het geheugen geladen wordt
vanaf het startpunt van de lus zoals bepaald door het indrukken van de A toets. U kunt nu op elk gewenst
moment deze 8 seconden muziek afspelen door de SAM toets even in te drukken. Het geheugen wordt
gewist door de SAM toets en de TIME toets (2) gelijktijdig in te drukken.
VERKORTE BEDIENINGSINSTRUCTIES
Afspelen
Schakel, nadat de CD speler is aangesloten op mixer/versterker en het lichtnet, de netspanning in met de
POWER hoofdschakelaar op de afspeeleenheid. Open de CD lade met een van de toetsen OPEN/CLOSE (1)
of de blauwe toetsen op de afspeeleenheid . Plaats een CD en druk weer op toets (1) om de lade te sluiten.
De CD wordt nu ingelezen door de betreffende afspeler en het aantal tracks met de speelduur wordt
aangegeven in het LCD display. Druk na het inlezen op toets nr. (15) PLAY/PAUSE om het afspelen te starten.
Door weer op de toets PLAY/PAUSE te drukken wordt het afspelen tijdelijk onderbroken en kunt u
bijvoorbeeld met de toetsen (13) een andere track op de CD opzoeken. Druk op de PLAY/PAUSE toets (15)
om het afspelen te hervatten.
Cue functie
Druk in de PAUZE stand op de CUE toets (17). Dit punt op de CD wordt in het geheugen opgeslagen en de
CUE toets knippert als indicatie. Druk tijdens het afspelen op de CUE- of de BOP toets en de afspeler springt
terug naar het eerder gemarkeerde punt.
Zoekfunctie
Het instellen van het exacte startpunt geschiedt met de zoekfunctie welke wordt bediend met de grote
draaiknop (19). Schakel de PAUZEstand in en draai aan de knop (19). De muziek op de CD is deels hoorbaar
en in het LCD display worden de frames/seconden/minuten weergegeven. U kunt zowel vooruit als achteruit
zoeken.

AUTOMATISCH UITSCHAKELEN
De dubbele CD afspeler is voorzien van een timer welke het apparaat, na 30 minuten niet gebruikt te zijn,
automatisch uitschakelt.
ENKELE TIPS VOOR WANNEER HET NIET WERKT ZOALS U WILT
-controleer alle aansluitingen, kabels en netsnoeren.
-controleer de instelling van de versterker, staat deze op het juiste ingangskanaal?
-is de netspanning aanwezig en ingeschakeld?
-is de CD op de juiste manier geplaatst?

Please read this manual carefully prior to using the unit.
Warning:
- Keep this manual for future reference.
- For indoor use only in a dry and clean environment.
- Do not obstruct the ventilation openings. Leave enough space for sufficient cooling.
- Keep the unit away from heat.
- Unplug the unit from the mains prior to repairs and maintenance.
- Never plug or unplug the unit with wet hands.
- If the plug and/or mains lead are damaged, they need to be repaired by a qualified technician.
- If the unit is damaged to an extent that you can see internal parts, do not plug the unit into a mains
outlet.
- Only connect this unit to an earthed mains outlet of 230Vac/50Hz and 10-16A.
- Always unplug the unit during a thunderstorm or when it is not in use.
- If the unit has not been used for a longer period of time, condensation can occur inside the housing.
Please let the unit reach room temperature prior to use.
- When you unplug the unit from the mains always pull the plug, never the lead.
- Do not use chemical cleaning products. Only use products that are recommended by your dealer to
clean the unit.
- The CD player contains a CLASS I laser. Do not open the housing.
Safety Recommendations
Choose a location where the unit is not exposed to heat and moisture. Do not place the unit near sources of
interference such as electric motors, microwave ovens or transformers. Do not open the housing. Repairs
should only be carried out by a qualified technician. Do only use clean, scratch-free CDs. Never insert a
damaged CD as this would damage the laser head. Switch the unit off prior to unplugging it. Unplug the
mains lead and other connection leads prior to moving the unit. Clean the housing only with a dry, clean
cloth. Put the player on a flat surface and make sure that the surface is not tilted by more than 15°.
THE DUAL PLAYER UNIT
1. CD DRAWER 1
Open and close the drawer by pushing the button 

or the button (1) on the left control unit.
2. ILLUMINATION, a clear white LED.
3. OPEN/CLOSE (push-buttons for the CD drawer)
First push the STOP or PAUSE button.
4. POWER ON/OFF
5. CD DRAWER 2,this player is controlled via the right control unit.

CONTROL UNIT
DESCRIPTION OF THE FUNCTIONS
1. OPEN/CLOSE
Opens and closes the CD drawer. This button only operates in pause or stop mode.
2. TIME/STOP
To change the time indication on the display. You can choose among elapsed, remaining or total playing
time of a CD. If the button is pressed for more than 3 seconds, the STOP function is activated and the total
number of tracks and the total playing time of the inserted CD is displayed.
3. CONTINUE/SINGLE button
This button lets you select one of the following three playing modes:
a) auto-cue single, all tracks are played but at the beginning of each track the player stops and switches into
PAUSE mode.
b) continue, the whole CD is played continuously.
c) outro, the player plays the last 30 seconds of each track. Activate this function by pressing the button
down for more than 3 seconds. This function is switched off by pushing the Time/Stop button.
The functions a, b and c are indicated on the display.
4. LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY
Indicates the track number, the playing time and other functions. A long horizontal bar represents the
remaining play time. The bar flashes over its whole length during the last 30 seconds of a track.
5. MT button
If this button is pressed, the tone level is brought back to the original tone (Master Tempo ). The slider
control (11) only sets the speed.
6. PITCH button
This button sets the maximum speed variation that is adjustable by the slider control (11). ( plus or minus 8,
16, 32 or 100%)
7. RELAY button This button exists only once!
When this function is activated, the red LED is flashing and the unit switches automatically between the

players. Push the PLAY button of one player to switch it on while the other one goes automatically in Pause
mode.
8. PROGRAM button (with a green LED)
This function lets you program a selection of tracks that you want to play. It works only in STOP mode. Push
the STOP button (2) for more than 3 seconds until the total number of tracks on the CD is displayed. Push
the PROGRAM button. P-01 is displayed. Select the desired track via the track buttons (13) and press the
PROGRAM button again to confirm your choice. The green LED lights up to indicate that a track number has
been programmed. P-02 is displayed and you can now program the next track number in the same way. You
can program up to 30 tracks per CD. Once you press the PLAY button (12), only the selected tracks will be
played. The selection is erased by opening the CD drawer.
9. PITCH BEND +/- buttons
While pressing these buttons, the playing speed of the CD is altered. Once the button is released the player
goes back to normal speed.
10. PITCH ON/OFF button
This button activates the slider control (11) that sets the playing speed.
11. SLIDER CONTROL To set the playing speed.
12. BPM button (beats per minute)
Press this button shortly to display the rhythm of the music in beats per minute. If you hold the button down
for longer than 3 seconds, the BEAT message on the display starts flashing. Now you can set the rhythm
yourself by tapping the BPM button to the rhythm of the music. Hold the BPM button down for more than 3
seconds until the BEAT indication stops flashing on the display. Press the BPM button once again to switch
the BPM function off.
13. TRACK +/-/10+
Skip to the required track via these buttons.
14. SEARCH left or right buttons.
Fast backward or forward play.
15. PLAY/PAUSE button
To start playing and switch into Pause mode.
16. SEAMLESS LOOP function
This function offers the possibility to play a predetermined part of the CD repeatedly. Press the PLAY button
to start playing. Go via the SEARCH buttons to a required starting point and press the upper A button. This
starting point is now memorized. At the required ending point, press the upper B button to determine the
end of the loop. The marked piece of music is now automatically repeated. You can skip back to the starting
point by pressing the upper RELOOP button. You can set a second SEAMLESS LOOP via the lower row of
buttons A/B/RELOOP. The chosen pieces of music can overlap. To leave a loop, press the corresponding
B/EXIT button. The programmed loops are erased when the CD is removed from the player. Note: The loop
must be at least 20 frames long.
17. CUE button
The CUE function allows you to skip to a point of the CD that you have marked before. Switch the unit in
PAUSE mode at the desired point and press the CUE button to mark a CUE point. Afterwards, if you press
the CUE button during play, the player skips to the marked CUE point and switches into PAUSE mode. If you
press the BOP button (18) during play, the player skips to the marked CUE point and resumes immediately
play from that point.
CUE memory
You can set five different CUE points per CD. Proceed as follows: Press the PAUSE button during play and
subsequently the CUE button. The CUE button starts flashing. When the CUE button stops flashing, the

CUE point is set and you can store it in the memory. Press shortly the MEMO button in the black field (23)
just below the display. The MEMO button lights up in red. Press the button marked 1 on the right side of
the MEMO button. Press the PLAY button to resume play. This way you can set five different CUE points.
Just press one of the buttons 1 to 5 to skip back to the set CUE points. If you press the BOP button, the
players always skip back to the last programmed CUE point. The CUE points are erased when the CD is
removed from the player.
CD memory function
You can store five different CUE points per CD up to a total of 255 CDs. Hold the MEMO button down (in
the black CUE field) until the green LED lights up. The memory function is now activated. Make sure that
the green LED is lit when you insert a CD. During the identification of the CD (‘read’ is displayed), the CD is
recognized by the number of tracks and the playing time. The formerly stored CUE points are activated
again.
18. BOP button
If this button is pressed, the player goes back to the last set CUE point and resumes play immediately from
that point. The CUE button has the same effect but the player switches into Pause mode.
19. JOG dial
This big, easy to rotate dial controls a number of functions.
a) During play, the speed is increased by rotating the dial clockwise and decreased by rotating it CCW.
b) In PAUSE mode, you can set any required point on the CD. The setting is very accurate per frame (Note!
1 second standard play time contains 74 frames)
c) The dial also controls various sound effects. This function will be explained more in detail in the
description of push-button 21.
20. BRAKE button
After pressing the BRAKE button, start and stop is delayed via the PLAY button by a “brake effect”. If this
function is active ’BRAKE’ is displayed. The duration of this “brake effect” is adjustable from 0.1 to 5
seconds. Proceed as follows: Hold the BRAKE button down for more than 3 seconds. ‘Brake’ is flashing on
the display and the set “brake time” appears. You can change this duration via the SEARCH buttons (14).
Press the BRAKE button (20) shortly in order to store the new setting.
After switching off the mains supply, the brake time is reset to the standard value of 2 seconds.
21. ON/OFF (EFFECTS)
This button activates one of the five special sound effects that are indicated by the LEDs just above the JOG
dial (19). If the LEDs are flashing, the sound effects are selected but still off.
22. SELECT button
Select one of the five sound effects via this button. Moreover this button controls the HOLD function. The
sound effects are:
a) SCRATCH effect, put the player in pause mode to achieve an optimal effect.
b) FLANGER, the increasing noise of a plane taking off.
c) FILTER, tone filter effect.
d) REVERB, echo effect.
e) REVERSE, the CD is played backwards.
The sound effect itself is controlled via the JOG dial. The strength of the sound effect is separately
adjustable. Proceed as follows:
a) Switch the PLAY mode on by pressing the PLAY button (15).
b) Switch the sound effect mode on by pressing shortly the ON/OFF button (21).
c) Press the SELECT button (22) to choose the sound effect you wish to change (e.g. filter, flanger or echo)
d) Hold the ON/OFF button (21) down for more than 3 seconds until the red LED above the button is
flashing.
e) ‘EF’ and the figure zero (0) are displayed.
f) Press the SELECT button (22) for more than 3 seconds until the ‘HOLD’ LED lights up.
g) Set the strength of the special effect via the JOG dial (19). The range goes from min. to 1499.
h) Press the ON/OFF button shortly to store the setting.
i) The ‘HOLD’ function is switched off by pressing the SELECT button for more than 3 seconds.

The JOG dial (19) allows you to adjust the sound effects with or without the ‘HOLD’ function switched on.
These settings will be erased when the CD drawer is opened or the mains supply is switched off.
'HOLD' function
The ‘HOLD’ function is switched on and off by pressing the SELECT button for more than 3 seconds. When
the ‘HOLD’ function is switched on, the setting of the effect remains as adjusted via the JOG dial (19) and
will only be changed if the JOG dial is rotated. If the ‘HOLD’ function is switched off, the setting returns
automatically to normal after a few seconds.
23. CUE CONTROL PANEL / SAM button
The operation of the MEMO and number buttons has already been described in the function of the CUE
button (17).
Operation of the SAM (sample) button
It is possible to store a portion of 8 seconds of music in the memory. This stored portion can be played any
time even during the play of another track on the CD or of a totally different CD. The storage in the memory
is done exactly as described in the section SEAMLESS LOOP (see point 16). Create a SEAMLESS LOOP of
less than 8 seconds via the A and B buttons as described above. Press the SAM button during the play of
the loop. It flashes blue to indicate that the memory is now loaded with the starting point of the loop such
as it has been set by the A button. Now you can play this portion of 8 seconds any time just by pressing
the SAM button. The memory is erased by pressing simultaneously the SAM and the TIME (2) buttons.
QUICK BASIC INSTRUCTIONS
Play
After having connected the CD player to a mixer/amplifier and the mains, switch on the POWER of the play
unit. Open the CD drawer via the OPEN/CLOSE (1) buttons or the blue button on the player. Insert a CD and
press again button (1) to close the drawer. The CD will be read by the player and the number of tracks and
the playing time will be displayed. After that, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (15) to start playing a CD. Press
the PLAY/PAUSE button to interrupt shortly the play and to search for another track on the CD via the
buttons (13). Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (15) to resume play.
Cue function
Press the CUE button (17) in Pause mode. This point will be stored in the memory and the CUE LED is
flashing. During play, press the CUE or BOP button and the player skips back to the marked point.
Search function
The setting of the exact starting point is done via the search function which is operated by the big JOG dial
(19). Switch into Pause mode and rotate the dial (19). The music on the CD is still audible and the
frames/seconds/minutes are displayed. You can search forwards and backwards.
AUTO SWITCH OFF
The dual CD players features a time function that switches the unit off when it has not been operated over 30
minutes.

Avertissement:

Recommandations pour une utilisation en toute sécurité
Choisissez un emplacement à l’abri de la chaleur et de l’humidité, et loin d’appareils qui peuvent provoquer
des interférences telles que des moteurs électriques, micro-ondes ou transformateurs. Ne pas ouvrir le
boîtier. Des réparations éventuelles doivent être faites par un technicien qualifié. Utilisez exclusivement des
CD propres et sans égratignures. Des CD qui sont endommagés d’une manière ou d’une autre, risquent
d’endommager la tête de lecture laser. Eteignez l’appareil avant de retirer le cordon secteur et les cordons
de connexion. Retirez les cordons avant de déplacer le lecteur. Nettoyez le boîtier uniquement avec un
chiffon propre et sec. Posez le lecteur sur une surface plane qui ne doit pas être inclinée à plus de 15°.

DESCRIPTION DES TOUCHES DE FONCTION
1. OPEN/CLOSE
Touche pour l’ouverture et la fermeture du tiroir CD. Cette touche ne fonctionne qu’en mode pause ou stop.
2. TIME/STOP
Pour changer l’affichage. Vous avez le choix entre l’indication du temps de lecture écoulé, restant ou de la
durée de lecture totale d’un CD. Si cette touche est appuyée plus de 3 secondes, le mode STOP est activé.
3. Touche CONTINUE/SINGLE
Cette touche vous permet de sélectionner l’un des trois modes de lecture:
a) auto-cue single, tous les titres sont passés mais le lecteur s’arrête au début de chaque titre et commute
en mode Pause.
b) continue, tout le CD est passé sans interruption.
c) outro, le lecteur passe les 30 dernières secondes de chaque titre sur le CD. Activez cette fonction en
maintenant la touche cont/single enfoncée pendant plus de 3 secondes. Désactivez par pression sur la
touche Time/Stop. Les fonctions a, b et c sont indiquées sur l’afficheur.
4. AFFICHEUR A CRISTAUX LIQUIDES
L’afficheur indique le numéro du titre, la durée de lecture et d’autres fonctions. Une longue barre horizontale
indique le temps de lecture restant. La barre clignote sur toute sa longueur pendant la lecture des 30
dernières secondes.
5. Touche MT
Lorsque cette touche est enfoncée, la tonalité est ramenée au niveau initial (Master Tempo). Ainsi le curseur
(11) ne règle que la vitesse.
6. Touche de sélection PITCH (variation de vitesse)
Elle vous permet de sélectionner la variation de vitesse maximale réglable avec le curseur (11) (plus ou
moins 8, 16, 32 ou 100%)

7. Touche RELAY Cette touche n’existe qu’une fois!
Lorsque la fonction Relay est activée, le voyant rouge clignote et l’appareil commute automatiquement entre
les lecteurs. Une pression sur la touche PLAY met le lecteur concerné en service pendant que l’autre
commute automatiquement en mode PAUSE.
8. Touche PROGRAM (avec LED verte)
Cette touche vous permet de programmer une sélection de titres. Ce fonction n’est accessible qu’en mode
STOP. Appuyez sur la touche STOP (2) pendant plus de 3 secondes jusqu’à ce que le nombre total de titres
sur le CD s’affiche. Appuyez ensuite sur la touche PROGRAM. P-01 s’affiche. Sélectionnez le titre désiré
avec les touches (13) et appuyez de nouveau sur la touche PROGRAM pour confirmer votre choix. Le voyant
vert s’allume pour indiquer qu’un numéro de titre est mémorisé. P-02 s’affiche et vous pouvez programmer
le titre suivant de la même manière. Ainsi vous pouvez sélectionner jusqu’à 30 titres par CD. Appuyez sur la
touche PLAY (12) pour passer tous les titres programmés. La sélection s’efface lorsque le tiroir CD est
ouvert.
9. Touches PITCH BEND +/-
Appuyez sur ces touches pour influencer provisoirement la vitesse de lecture du CD. Lorsque vous relâchez
la touche, la vitesse de lecture revient au standard.
10. Touche PITCH ON/OFF
Cette touche active le curseur (11) qui permet de régler la vitesse de lecture.
11. CURSEUR règle la vitesse de lecture.
12. Touche BPM (battements par minute)
Appuyez brièvement sur cette touche pour afficher le rythme de la musique en “battements par minute”. Si
vous maintenez la touche enfoncée pendant plus de 3 secondes, l’indication BEAT commence à clignoter.
Vous pouvez maintenant déterminer vous-même le rythme en battant la mesure de la musique sur la touche
BPM. Maintenez la touche BPM enfoncée pendant plus de 3 secondes jusqu’à ce que l’indication BEAT ne
clignote plus. Appuyez encore une fois sur la touche BPM afin de désactiver à nouveau la fonction BPM.
13. TRACK +/-/10+
Ces touches vous permettent d’aller au titre souhaité sur le CD.
14. SEARCH touches gauche ou droite.
Entraîne une lecture rapide vers l’avant ou l’arrière.
15. Touche PLAY/PAUSE
Permet le démarrage de la lecture et la commutation en mode de pause.
16. Fonction SEAMLESS LOOP (Boucle continue)
Cette fonction permet de répéter en continu une section déterminée du CD. Appuyez sur la touche PLAY
pour commencer la lecture. Allez au point de départ souhaité avec les touches SEARCH et appuyez sur la
touche supérieure A. Le point de départ est maintenant mémorisé. A la fin de la boucle souhaitée, appuyez
sur la touche supérieure B pour mémoriser le point de fin de la boucle (loop). Le morceau de musique ainsi
déterminé est maintenant automatiquement répété. Vous pouvez revenir à tout moment au point de départ
en appuyant sur la touche RELOOP. Avec la rangée inférieure de touches A/B/RELOOP vous pouvez définir
une seconde boucle. Les morceaux de musique choisis peuvent se chevaucher. Quittez la boucle
programmée en appuyant sur la touche correspondante B/EXIT. Les boucles programmées sont effacées
lorsque le CD est sorti du lecteur. Attention ! La durée minimale d’une boucle ne doit pas être inférieure à 20
trames.
17. Touche CUE
La fonction CUE vous permet de revenir à un point du CD marqué auparavant. Afin de marquer ce point,
commutez le lecteur en mode PAUSE et appuyez ensuite sur la touche CUE. Si vous appuyez sur la touche

CUE pendant la lecture, le lecteur revient au point CUE que vous aviez marqué auparavant. Le mode PAUSE
est alors activé. Si, en revanche, vous appuyez sur la touche BOP (18), le lecteur revient directement au
point CUE et continue la lecture à partir de ce point.
Mémoire CUE
Vous pouvez mémoriser au total cinq points CUE différents par CD. Procédez de la manière suivante :
Appuyez sur la touche PAUSE pendant la lecture, et ensuite sur la touche CUE. Celle-ci commence à
clignoter. Lorsqu’elle s’arrête de clignoter, le point CUE est déterminé et vous pouvez le mémoriser.
Appuyez brièvement sur la touche MEMO dans le champ noir (23) directement en dessous de l’afficheur.
La touche MEMO s’allume en rouge. Appuyez ensuite sur la touche marquée 1 à droite de la touche MEMO.
Appuyez sur la touche PLAY pour continuer la lecture. Ainsi vous pouvez fixer cinq points CUE par CD.
Appuyez sur l’une des touches 1 à 5 pour revenir aux points CUE fixés. Si vous appuyez sur la touche BOP,
le lecteur revient toujours au dernier point CUE programmé. Les points CUE mémorisés sont effacés
lorsque le CD est retiré du lecteur.
Mémorisation de points CUE
Par CD vous pouvez mémoriser jusqu’à cinq points CUE sur un total de 255 CD. Maintenez la touche
MEMO (dans le champ de fonction noir CUE) enfoncée jusqu’à ce que le voyant vert s’allume. La fonction
de mémoire est maintenant activée. Veillez à ce que le voyant vert est allumé lorsque vous insérez un CD.
Lors de la lecture du CD (‘read’ s’affiche), le CD est identifié par le nombre de titres et la durée de lecture.
Les points CUE mémorisés auparavant seront alors de nouveau activés.
18.Touche BOP
En appuyant sur cette touche le lecteur revient au dernier point CUE mémorisé et continue la lecture
directement à partir de ce point. La touche CUE a le même effet mais le lecteur commute en mode Pause au
point CUE.
19. Molette JOG
Cette grande molette facile à tourner commande un nombre de fonctions.
a) Pendant la lecture, la vitesse de lecture augmente lorsque la molette est tournée vers la droite et ralentit
lorsqu’elle est tournée vers la gauche.
b) En mode Pause, elle vous sert à localiser un point précis sur le CD. Le réglage par trame est
extrêmement précis (1 seconde de temps de lecture standard équivaut à 74 trames !).
c) La molette sert également à régler les différents effets sonores. Ce réglage est décrit plus en détail dans
la description du bouton-poussoir 21.
20. Touche BRAKE
Si vous appuyez sur la touche BRAKE, le démarrage et l’arrêt sont rallongés par un effet de « freinage »
lorsque la touche PLAY est appuyée. Lorsque cette fonction est activée, l’indication « BRAKE » apparaît. La
durée de cet « effet de freinage » est réglable de 0,1 à 5 secondes. Cela se fait de la manière suivante :
Maintenez la touche ‘BRAKE’ enfoncée pendant plus de 3 secondes. L’indication BRAKE clignote sur
l’afficheur et la durée de « freinage » s’affiche. Vous pouvez modifier cette durée avec les touches SEARCH
(14). Appuyez brièvement sur la touche BRAKE (20) pour mémoriser ce nouveau réglage.
Lorsque le lecteur est éteint, cette durée de ‘freinage’ revient à la valeur standard de 2 secondes.
21. ON/OFF (EFFETS)
Cette touche active un des cinq effets sonores qui sont indiqués par des voyants juste au-dessus de la
molette JOG (19). Si les voyants clignotent, les effets sonores sont sélectionnés mais pas encore activés.
22. Touche SELECT
Cette touche vous permet de sélectionner un parmi les 5 effets sonores. En plus, cette touche contrôle
également la fonction ‘HOLD’. Les effets sonores sont:
a) SCRATCH, mettez le lecteur en mode PAUSE pour obtenir un effet optimal.
b) FLANGER, bruit croissant du décollage d’un avion.
c) FILTER, filtre sonore.
d) REVERB, écho.
e) REVERSE, le CD est passé à l’envers.
Le résultat des effets sonores ci-dessus est réglé au moyen de la molette JOG. L’ampleur de chaque effet

fait l’objet d’un réglage à part. Procédez de la manière suivante:
a) Commutez en mode de lecture en appuyant sur la touche PLAY (15).
b) Activez le mode d’effets sonores en appuyant brièvement sur la touche ON/OFF (21).
c) Avec la touche SELECT (22) choisissez l’effet sonore à modifier (p.ex. filter, flanger, ou echo)
d) Maintenez la touche ON/OFF (21) enfoncée pendant plus de 3 secondes jusqu’à ce que le voyant rouge
au dessus de la touche clignote.
e) L’indication EF et le chiffre 0 (zéro) s’affichent.
f) Appuyez pendant plus de 3 secondes sur la touche SELECT (22) jusqu’à ce que le voyant ‘HOLD’
s’allume.
g) Réglez l’ampleur de l’effet au moyen de la molette JOG (19). La plage de réglage s’étend de moins à plus
1499.
h) Confirmez le réglage en appuyant brièvement sur la touche ON/OFF (21).
i) Désactivez la fonction ‘HOLD’ en appuyant pendant plus de 3 secondes sur la touche SELECT.
Vous pouvez régler les effets sonores avec la molette JOG (19). La fonction ‘HOLD’ peut être activée ou non.
Ces réglages sont effacés après ouverture du tiroir CD ou la mise hors tension de l’appareil.
Fonction 'HOLD'
La fonction ‘HOLD’ est activée et désactivée en appuyant pendant plus de 3 secondes sur la touche SELECT.
Lorsque la fonction ‘HOLD’ est activée, le réglage de l’effet sonore reste tel qu’il avait été ajusté avec la
molette JOG (19) et ne change que si la molette est tournée. Si la fonction ‘HOLD’ n’est pas activée, le
réglage revient aux valeurs par défaut après quelques secondes.
23. CHAMP DE COMMANDE CUE / TOUCHE SAM
Le fonctionnement des touches MEMO et à chiffres a déjà été décrit dans la section relative aux fonctions de
la touche CUE (17).
Fonctionnement de la touche SAM (échantillon)
Il est possible de mémoriser un morceau de musique de 8 secondes maximum. Ce morceau mémorisé
peut être passé à tout moment, même pendant la lecture d’un autre titre du CD, voire d’un tout autre CD. La
mémorisation se fait au moyen de la fonction SEAMLESS LOOP (Boucle) (voir point 16.). Créez une
SEAMLESS LOOP (boucle) au moyen des touches A et B de moins de 8 secondes comme décrit dans le
chapitre concerné. Appuyez sur la touche SAM pendant la lecture de la boucle. La touche clignote en bleu
pour signaler que la boucle est mémorisée à partir du point de départ défini par la touche A. Vous pouvez
maintenant passer cette musique à tout moment en appuyant sur la touche SAM. La mémoire est effacée
en appuyant simultanément sur la touche SAM et TIME (2).
INSTRUCTIONS CONDENSEES
Lecture
Branchez le lecteur CD sur une table de mixage/amplificateur et le secteur. Mettez-le sous tension en
appuyant sur l’interrupteur POWER sur le lecteur. Ouvrez le tiroir CD au moyen des touches OPEN/CLOSE (1)
ou des touches bleues sur le lecteur. Insérez un CD et appuyez de nouveau sur la touche (1) afin de fermer le
tiroir. Le CD est maintenant lu par le lecteur et le nombre de titres ainsi que la durée de lecture s’affichent.
Appuyez ensuite sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (15) afin de commencer la lecture. Appuyez de nouveau sur la

au moyen des touches (13). Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (15) pour reprendre la lecture.
Fonction Cue
Appuyez en mode PAUSE sur la touche CUE (17). Ce point est mémorisé et la touche CUE clignote. Appuyez
pendant la lecture sur la touche CUE ou BOP pour revenir sur ce point mémorisé.
Fonction de recherche
Le réglage du point de départ exact se fait au moyen de la fonction de recherche qui est commandé par la
molette JOG (19). Commutez en mode PAUSE et tournez la molette (19). La musique sur le CD est audible et
les trames/secondes/minutes s’affichent. Vous pouvez effectuer votre recherche vers l’avant ou l’arrière.

ARRET AUTOMATIQUE
Le double lecteur CD est équipé d’un programmateur qui arrête l’appareil automatiquement après 30
minutes de non-utilisation.

Warnung:

- Nur für Innengebrauch in trockenen, sauberen Räumen.
- Die Belüftungsschlitze nicht verschließen. Für genügende Belüftung sorgen.
- Vor Hitze schützen.
- Vor Instandhaltungs- und Reparaturarbeiten erst den Stecker abziehen.
- Stecker niemals mit nassen Händen anfassen.
- Sollten Stecker und/oder Netzschnur, sowie der Kabeleingang zum Gerät beschädigt sein, müssen
diese durch einen Fachmann ersetzt werden.
- Wenn das Gerät sichtbar beschädigt ist, darf es NICHT an eine Steckdose angeschlossen und NICHT
eingeschaltet werden. Benachrichtigen sie in diesem Fall SkyTronic BV.
- Das Gerät nur an eine geerdete Netzsteckdose von 230V AC/50 Hz mit 10-16A Sicherung anschließen.
- Bei Unwetter sowie Nichtgebrauch das Netzgerät aus der Steckdose ziehen.
- Nach längerem Nichtgebrauch kann sich Kondenswasser im Gehäuse gebildet haben. Lassen Sie
das Gerät erst auf Raumtemperatur kommen.
- Beim Abziehen des Steckers immer am Stecker ziehen, niemals an der Netzschnur.
- Keine chemischen Reinigungsmittel verwenden. Nur das von Ihrem Fachhändler empfohlene Mittel
verwenden.
- Der CD-Spieler enthält einen Laser der KLASSE I. Niemals selbst das Gehäuse offnen. Überlassen
Sie das Fachpersonal.
Tips für einen sicheren Gebrauch
Der Aufstellungsort muss vor Hitze und hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit geschützt sein. Nicht in der Nähe von
Geräten aufstellen, die Störungen verursachen wie Elektromotoren, Mikrowellenöfen oder Trafos. Niemals
das Gehäuse öffnen. Eventuelle Reparaturen dürfen nur von einem Fachmann vorgenommen werden. Nur
saubere, kratzfreie CDs benutzen. In irgendeiner Weise beschädigte CDs dürfen auf keinen Fall eingelegt
werden, um den Laser nicht zu beschädigen. Erst das Gerät ausschalten, bevor Sie die Netzschnur und die
Anschlussschnuren entfernen. Erst die Netz- und Anschlussschnuren entfernen, bevor Sie das Gerät
umstellen. Das Gehäuse nur mit einem, trockenen, sauberen Tuch abwischen. Den Spieler auf eine ebene
Fläche stellen, die nicht mehr als 15° geneigt sein darf.

Die CD Lade wird mit der Taste 

geöffnet und geschlossen. Die Taste (1) auf dem linken Bedienteil
erfüllt denselben Zweck.
2. BELEUCHTUNG, durch eine helle, weiße LED.
3. OPEN/CLOSE (Tasten für die CD Laden)
