Table-Wall Stand Instruction Manual

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the SLYK® Table and Wall Stand. This is a unique product that will transform how you use your
smart devices hands-free.
The SLYK® Table and Wall Stand will enable use of your devices around your home or office. It has been designed and
perfected to be practical, easy to use and hold your devices securely. It works on any firm horizontal surface, like a desk,
table or worktop, and works with Apple iPhones and iPads, and all smartphones and tablets, whatever the manufacturer.
Assembly
The SLYK® Table and Wall Stand comes in two parts, the flexible arm and the base.
There is a screw-bolt attached to the flexible arm. You need to unscrew the bolt with a cross-
headed screwdriver and put the screw-bolt to one side.
Gently push the hexagonal nut at the end of the flexible arm through the hexagonal hole in the
base.
The flexible arm and the base should now be sitting snugly together
Re-use the screw-bolt you removed to fix the two components together, from the underside. It
should not need over tightening, but just enough to secure the flexible arm firmly in place.
The stand is now operational as a table stand.
The black screws in the packet are for the wall bracket to be fixed to a wall (longer screws), or
a wooden cupboard/wardrobe/plinth (shorter screws). If you position the bracket so that it is
horizontal on the wall, level and with the protruding part facing outwards and above the screw
holes, this becomes the holder and the stand base slots into it.
With the bracket secured in your chosen place you can simply align the stand slightly above
the bracket flush against the wall and slide it down so that the bracket and the lip on the
underside of the base interlock. The stand will support a tablet or a smartphone and the
position of the device can be easily adjusted for comfortable hands-free viewing and use.
Note 1: Carefully removing the protective film from the head you will expose the nano-suction pad. This material creates
miniature ‘vacuums’ when you press your device against it, holding it firmly in place. Devices will be held for many hours
and can be removed by simply lifting a corner of the device to ‘pop’ the device away from the stand, thereby breaking the
vacuums. The pad can be ‘refreshed’ easily. Simply wrap some tape, sticky side outwards around one hand and dabt the
surface to remove any dust particles and the pad will regain its original suction.
Note 2: You should ensure that the device has as clean a surface as possible to attach to the nano-suction pad.
Note 3: The head can be rotated 360 degrees, to suit portrait, landscape or angled viewing, and the flexible arm allows the
height and orientation to be adjusted further.
Note 4: There are also some adhesive pads to use to affix the bracket to a wall, instead of screws, if you do not want to
damage your wall or wooden surface.
