CHAIN INSTALLATION
1. Loosen the nut counterclockwise and remove
the side cover.
2. Install the chain guide blade: first load the chain
onto the chain guide. Ensure that chain’s inner
teeth fall into the guide slot.
3. Pay attention to the direction of the cutting
teeth.
4. When installing the guide blade, ensure the
groove on it is positioned on the main bolt.
5. Pull the chain over the sprocket and align the
pin hole.
6. Install the side cover and tighten the bolt nut.
CHAIN MAINTENANCE
CALIBRATE THE TIGHTNESS OF THE CHAIN
Calibrating the tightness of the chain on the guide
blade can offer you the best using experience. If the
chain is too tight on the guide blade, then there will
be more friction so it will wear the guide blade and
consume the battery faster. If the chain is too loose
on the guide blade, then sometimes the chain can
fall off during use.
To calibrate the tightness of the chain, simply loosen
the cover nut with a wrench and use a screwdriver
to adjust the screw behind the guide blade (no need
to take off the guide blade cover). Clockwise for
tighter chain and anti-clockwise for looser chain.
The proper tightness should be when you are able to
pull the chain off the guide blade edge baseline by
3–4 mm. Tighten the cover nut with the wrench.
REMOVE ACCUMULATED WOOD DUST
The chain and guide blade does not require oil
maintenance normally as long as you keep the two
parts clean. It is advised to do a thorough cleaning
after a few uses. Use the wrench to open the guide
blade cover and remove the accumulated wood dust
etc.
REPLACE CHAIN
When the teeth on the chain become dull, it's time
to replace it with a new chain.
See the chapter about chain installation.
CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
1. Plug the charger into the wall socket.
2. Plug the power connector of the charger into
the charge socket on top of the battery pack.

•The charger and the battery heat up during
