1. Description
The SolarGoesGreen solar LED Flood Light is a premier choice for indoor or outdoor lighting.
Widely used for gardens, parks, warehouses, garages, driveways, signs, yards, farms,
horse riding arenas and businesses. The SolarGoesGreen flood light is easly installed.
The battery is protected by an auto-detection circuit in the system to control the brightness
of the lamp, allowing the lamp to operate longer as the battery charge declines.

3. Installation
Prior to first use follow these steps:
1) Connect the LED lamp to the battery box by inserting the lamp wire into the
OUTPUT plug on the battery box; The lamp can be mounted either on the battery box
or on a flat surface;
2) Connect the solar panel wire to the SOLAR IN plug on the battery box;
3) Mount the solar panel facing south using the ground mount stake and then switch the
power ON; The lamp will light up and then shut down automatically after 15 seconds;
4) Completly shield the face of the solar panel by laying it face down on a flat surface or cover
the panel with a thick, black cloth. The LED lamp will turn on after 15 seconds.
After checking the above, turn off the power and install the lamp in the desired location
with the mounting screws. It can be mounted on a flat suface or on the battery box. Then install
the battery box on the ground with the 4 ground stakes, or put it in a manageable location; the
solar panel can be mounted 18 feet from the LED lamp, with the battery half way between. The
solar panel produces maximum energy only when it is perpendicular to the sunlight.

4. Operation
The lamp will light up automatically after dark. The brightness is maximum when the battery
charge is high and semi-bright when the battery charge is lower. This auto detection feature
will save power and extend the lighting time.
Power Switch Description:
zOFF ---- completely off, not charging and not lighting.
zI ---- on at night and charging during the day.
zII ---- charging during the day, not lighting at night.
5. Notes
1. Charge the battery in the II position for at least 2 days before first use. THIS IS IMPORTANT.
Then switch to I for daily charge and nightly illumination.
2. Solar panel can not be placed in any shade or under buildings; it should be
put in a place where it can receive maximum sunlight.
3. Battery pack stakes must be inserted deeply enough in the ground to prevent falling after rain.
6. Battery Maintenance & Replacement
1) Maintenance
When the lamp isn’t in use, place the switch in position II and charge it 20 hours or
more under the sunlight, then switch OFF.

2) Battery Replacement
If the lamp begins to illuminate dimly or last a shorter time, you should replace the
rechargeable lead acid battery using the following steps:
1）Remove the top cover of the battery box.
2）Disconnect the two connectors from the battery and remove the old battery.
3）Install the new battery and remount it in reverse steps.
Warning:
1) Do it carefully to prevent wires from being damaged.
2) Be sure that battery polarities are correct. Wrong polarity is
dangerous.
3) Do not dispose of the old battery. It should be recycled.
