QUICKSTART GUIDE

SET IT UP
To add a SONOS PLAY:3™ to an existing Sonos system
just plug it in and select Add a Sonos Component from
the Settings menu on your handheld controller, or select
Add a Sonos Component from the Manage menu when
using the Sonos Controller for Mac or PC.
To set up a new SONOS system, turn to steps 1-4.

ROUTER PLAY:3BRIDGE
CONNECT A SONOS COMPONENT TO YOUR ROUTER
 IF YOU PURCHASED A SONOS BRIDGE, CONNECT AN ETHERNET CABLE SUPPLIED FROM
EITHER ONE OF THE ETHERNET PORTS ON THE BRIDGE TO AN OPEN PORT ON YOUR ROUTER.
 IF YOU DID NOT PURCHASE A SONOS BRIDGE, CONNECT THE PLAY:3 TO YOUR ROUTER
INSTEAD.

Note: Connecting a BRIDGE to your router allows you to use the PLAY:3 wirelessly in your home.

PLACE ADDITIONAL SONOS COMPONENTS IN THE ROOMS
OF YOUR CHOICE AND APPLY POWER OPTIONAL
YOU WILL BE PROMPTED TO ADD THEM TO YOUR SONOS SYSTEM IN STEP 3.

DOWNLOAD A SONOS CONTROLLER APP
SONOS CONTROLLER APP IS REQUIRED TO SET UP YOUR SONOS SYSTEM DOWNLOAD
INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE APP, LAUNCH IT, AND THEN FOLLOW THE
PROMPTS TO SET UP YOUR SONOS SYSTEM.
1Download the Sonos App soware for your Mac or PC here: www.sonos.com/install.
2Download the Sonos Controller App for your smartphone or tablet from the application
store on your device.
3Please add the Bridge or PLAY:3 that’s connected to your router before adding other components.
4Press Mute and Volume Up Buttons simultaneously.

receive future soware updates.

DURING THE SETUP PROCESS:
You will be prompted to press and release the buttons on the
BRIDGE or PLAY:3 to add components to your SONOS system.
You may be prompted to update your Sonos components. This
can take several minutes depending on your network connection.
You will be prompted to register your Sonos system. Be sure to
register to receive free future soware updates as well as music
selections specific to your country.

For a full list of music choices, go to www.sonos.com/music
Radio. Select from more than 100,000 free Internet radio stations, podcasts and shows
More Music. Add your music services, such as QQ Music and Duomi.
Music Library. Play music from your computer or any Network-Attached Storage (NAS)
device. If you have music stored on your computer, use the SONOS Controller for Mac or
PC to add music by selecting Music Library Settings from the Manage menu.

CHOOSE FROM THE MUSIC MENU ON YOUR SONOS CONTROLLER.

1下载并安装任意一款 SONOS 控制器软件， 电脑用户可通过访问 www.sonos.com/support
进行下载和安装， iPad/iPhone 用户可访问 Apple Store 下载， 安卓系统用户可通过
访问中国主流的安卓应用市场进行下载。
2下载并安装完毕后，打开客户端软件，点击“设置SONOS”。请按照向导提示先添加连
接网线的桥接器或播放器，然后依次添加其他的播放器。添加时注意使用播放器上如下
图所示的按钮，按一下并松开即可。
3在所有播放器设置完成后，您会被要求使用您常用邮件地址和所在国家来在线注册您
的 SONOS 系统，您必须完成此注册，以开启所在国家的在线音乐服务及最新的系统软件
升级通知。
4添加及注册完毕后，您可能被提示在线升级您的系统，整个升级过程可能需要几分
钟，请您耐心等待 。
