Battery Installation
1 Open the car’s battery compartment and insert 6 x ‘AA’ batteries
(not included), ensuring correct polarities are observed. Close
compartment and switch power to ‘On’. Lights will indicate a
power supply to the car.
2. Open controller’s battery compartment and insert 1 x 9v battery
(not included), observing correct polarities; close cover and
switch controller to ‘On’. The power indicator light will illuminate
if the battery is viable.

How to operate the GALAXI RACER
1 When the left-hand joystick is pushed UP, the car will move
forwards.
2 When the left-hand joystick is pushed DOWN, the car will move
backwards.
3 When the right-hand joystick is moved left, the vehicle will rotate
by 360°.

4 When the right-hand joystick is pushed to the right and the left-
hand joystick simultaneously moved forward, the car’s wheels will
rotate to the left; when the right-hand joystick is pushed to the
right and the left-hand joystick simultaneously moved backward,
the car’s wheels will rotate to the right.

5 If you suddenly change the car’s direction from backwards to
forwards, or if the car touches an object mid-operation, the car
will stand up on its rear roll bar.
6 When the car is standing on its rear roll bar, press the right-hand
joystick to the left and the car will spin right 360°.

7 Another trick whilst the car is ‘standing’ is to press the right-hand
joystick to the right and the left-hand joystick back and forth,
when the car will move to the left and right whilst in standing
position; it can also tip and move left and right as it does so.
8 When the chassis inverses, move the left joystick up and then
down to right the car to its normal position.

TROUBLESHOOTING
The car shows no sign of power.
Replace the AA batteries (ensuring correct polarities are observed).
Check that the car’s power switch is set to ‘On’.
The controller shows no sign of life.
Replace the 9v battery (ensuring correct polarities are observed).
Check that the controller’s power switch is set to ‘On’.
The car doesn’t respond, despite both car and controller ‘s
batteries having been checked and turned to ‘On’.
Check that your controller matches the frequency of the car (particularly
important if there is more than one R/C toy in the household). Try
moving to a different playing area – other radio waves in the vicinity
caused by other electrical equipment can cause interference to your
signal. Check that there is no other R/C toy being operated in close
proximity on the same or a similar signal.
