Operation
Silent Power has 4 precision voltage regulators,
each of them supplying 2 outputs with noise-
free 9 Vdc The regulators are rated for at least
500 mA continuously and 750 mA peak current
This means that combined, the two outputs of a
regulator should not draw more than these
values In the image below you can see how
pairs of outputs are grouped for each voltage
regulator
Recharging
When the charger is plugged in and connected
to Silent Power’s charging port, a red LED on
the charger indicates that the device is charging
When charging is complete the LED will turn
green, signaling you to unplug the charger
Silent Power can be used also while recharging,
although in this case the charging will take
longer
Increase Battery Lifetime
The capacity of rechargeable batteries
decreases over time, an important factor being
how they are used Here are some things you
can do to increase the useful life of Silent
Power’s battery pack:
•use and recharge Silent Power at least
once a month;
•try not to use Silent Power below 10%
charge level;
•when not in use for longer periods of time,
keep Silent Power in a cool place (15 - 20 °C);
•keep Silent Power 50-60% charged (not
full, not empty) when unused for extended
periods of time
