Arming Your Alarm
To arm the alarm proceed as follows:
Remove the ignition key and leave the vehicle closing all doors,
windows,sunroof, boot and bonnet.
Press the button on the remote control transmitter. The siren will give
one“chirp”to confirm the alarm is armed.
Important Note : When the alarm is armed, the current sensing and shock
sensing circuits will not trigger the alarm until a 30 second exit delay has
expired. This is to allow movement of the vehicle and in some cases, interior
light delays to cease.
Disarming Your Alarm
To disarm the alarm, again press the transmitter button, the siren will give two
“chirps”to confirm the alarm is disarmed. If you trigger the alarm accidentally,
follow the normal disarming procedure but keep the control button depressed
until the alarm stops.
Remote Control Panic Feature
If you feel threatened outside of your vehicle and within range, you can trigger
the alarm by holding the transmitter button depressed for at least three
seconds. This will start an alarm cycle lasting 30 seconds and draw attention
to your situation and vehicle. The alarm can be silenced by pressing the
remote control button once.
Entry Alert
When disarming the alarm, if the siren gives three chirp’s, this indicates that
the alarm has been triggered in your absence and has completed a full alarm
cycle.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Important
The alarm is suitable for 12v negative earth vehicles only.
When the vehicles battery is temporarily disconnected, digital radios
having a security code or memory feature will require re-programming on
completion of installation. Ensure your code is available.
