FLASHBACK PASSIVE GPS
TRACKER QUICK START GUIDE
Before you begin it is recommended to fully charge the device.
How to Charge the Flashback GPS logger:
• Takes 2-3 Hours to Fully Charge
• Provided with the unit is a SB to Mini SB cable. Behind the rubber stopper on the side of the de-
vice is a Mini SB port.
Initial usage:
• Charge the device for 2-3 hours
• Turn on the device by pressing the (ON) button located on the side of the device
• Take the device out for a 10min test drive to acquire initial data
• Once the unit has acquired initial data plug the Flashback GPS logger into a PC using the provided
SB cable
• Create a new (Free) account at www.landairsea.com
• Login with the user name and password
• pload and review your recorded data
Note: When taking the Flashback GPS logger out for a test drive do not just lap the neighborhood, the
device needs to be on the road initially for around 1 minutes to acquire its initial GPS data
How to use the Full Website: www.landairsea.com
• Connect the Flashback
• Login with the user name and password
• Click on the (Get New ata) button in the top right hand corner
• Find the file labeled “LAS” under “This PC” or “My Computer”
Note: On a Mac this will be under “devices”
• Select the DATA file
• Once the Data is uploaded, you will be able to review the information on the Map
Note: The Data you upload will be removed from the memory of the device and saved on your account.
This data can be stored to your account for review at a later date.
Troubleshooting:
Poor satellite visibility: The GPS antenna cannot see through metal. Changing the location of the device to
give it a better view of the sky, this should resolve the problem
evice has no power: Check to confirm the lights blink periodically on the top of the device. Recharge the
battery to continue operation.
