ASSEMBLY
1. Unwrap the neck strap and place it around your neck.
2. Apply a liberal amount of cork grease to the cork tenon on the
neck.
3. Gently twist the mouthpiece onto the neck, then twist it until the
flat part is oriented downward.
4. Remove one of the reeds and moisten the end by placing it in your
mouth for about a minute.
5. Place the flat side of the reed onto the mouthpiece. Move the reed
up or down the mouthpiece until you see just the slightest bit of
mouthpiece behind the reed tip.
6. Slip the ligature over the mouthpiece and reed, taking care not to
allow it to touch the thin end of the reed. Ensure that it is low enough
that it is cover the bark of the reed, not the vamp (the carved part).
Tighten the ligature to secure the reed in place.
7. Loosen the neck screw on the body.
8. Gently twist the neck onto the body until it is completely inserted
into the body. Ensure that the octave key pin is inside the octave
key loop.
9. Tighten the neck screw, taking care not to over tighten it.
10. Suspend the sax by inserting the hook on the neck strap around
your neck into the neck strap ring on the body.
