Verwendung
Der 4-kanalige Funkempfänger dient zum Schalten elektrischer Ver-
braucher mittels Funkübertragung. Die Übertragung erfolgt auf einer
Frequenz von 868,3 MHz. Die Sender müssen das EnOcean Protokoll
der PTM- und STM-Module unterstützen. Der Ausgang des Empfän-
gers kann von maximal 10 Sendern geschaltet werden. Dabei ist jeder
Sender einmalig im Empfänger einzulernen.
Hinweis: Die Geräte sind im Gebiet der EU, der Schweiz und Zypern
anmelde- und gebührenfrei zu betreiben. Der Einsatz in anderen Län-
dern ist explizit zu klären.
Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Die Geräte sind nur für den zugelassenen Einsatzzweck zu verwen-
den. Fehlerhafter oder unzulässiger Einsatz sowie das Nichtbeachten
der Hinweise dieser Betriebsanleitung schließen eine Gewährleistung
unsererseits aus. Umbauten und Veränderungen am Gerät sind nicht
gestattet. Das Gerät darf nur im unbeschädigten und sauberen Zu-
stand betrieben werden.
WARNUNG! Installation, Instandhaltung, Wartung und Störbeseitigung
darf nur von dazu befugtem und entsprechend geschultem Personal
durchgeführt werden.

Transport und Lagerung
Transport und Lagerung sind nur in Originalverpackung gestattet.
Installation, Befestigung/ Anschluss
Die Reichweite hängt stark von den örtlichen Gegebenheiten ab. So
kann das Funksignal stark von leitfähigen Materialien beeinträchtigt
werden. Dies gilt auch für dünne Folien wie z.B. Aluminium-Kaschie-
rung auf Dämmmaterialien. Im Einzelfall ist ein Test mit dem Feldstär-
kemessgerät EPM 300, STAHL Best.-Nr. 209483 vorab durchzuführen.
Typische Übertragungsreichweiten sind:
Sichtverbindung im Freifeld ca. 300 m
Sichtverbindung in Gängen ca. 30 m
Sichtverbindung in Hallen ca. 100 m
Stahlbetonwände ca. 10 m durch 1 Wand
Ziegelwände ca. 20 m durch max. 3 Wände
Es sind nur geeignete Antennen zu benutzen, z.B. RF-Magnetfußan-
tenne mit 2,5 m Anschlussleitung und SMA-Steckverbindung:

Vor Inbetriebnahme
• Sicherstellen, dass das Gerät nicht beschädigt ist.
• Sicherstellen, dass das Gerät vorschriftsmäßig installiert ist.
Hinweis: Die Übertragung eines Schaltbefehls vom Sender zum Emp-
fänger dauert ca. 80-100 ms, basierend auf der EnOcean Datenüber-
tragung. Das Schaltsignal eines Senders darf nicht in einem kürzeren
Abstand erzeugt werden da sonst dieses Signal unterdrückt wird.
Es können bis zu 10 Schalter parallel eingelernt werden. Die LEDs
zeigen hierzu die Betriebszustände an. Nach dem Einschalten des
Empfängers blinkt die orange LED, wenn noch kein Schalter einge-
lernt wurde. Leuchtet die orange LED nicht, sind bereits Schalter ein-
gelernt worden.
Bedien-/ Anzeigeelemente, Betriebsartenwahl
Es gibt sechs verschiedene Betriebsarten, die
beim Einschalten ausgewählt werden können.
Zur Auswahl muss beim Einschalten der Taster
»S1« gedrückt gehalten werden. Das Betätigen
der Betriebsart geschieht durch nochmaliges
Betätigen (ca. 1 s) des Tasters »S1«. Wird die-
ser nicht betätigt, wird nach 5 s in eine andere Betriebsart gewechselt.
Die Betriebsarten „Verknüpfung“ und „Rastfunktion“ können zusätzlich
zu den anderen Betriebsarten angewählt werden.

Instandhaltung, Wartung und Störbeseitigung
Bei sorgfältiger Montage, unter der Beachtung beschriebenen
Hinweise, ist nur eine geringe Wartung notwendig. Wir empfehlen
eine regelmäßige Wartung in folgenden Schritten:

• Entfernen von Schmutz
Zubehör und Ersatzteile
Es ist nur Original-Zubehör sowie Original-Ersatzteile der
Fa. R. STAHL zu verwenden.
Entsorgung

Intended Use
The 4-channel radio receiver is used to switch electrical loads via
radio transmission. The transmission is carried out at a frequency
of 868.3 MHz. The transmitters must support the EnOcean proto-
col of the PTM- and STM-modules. The output of the receiver can
be switched by a maximum of 10 transmitters. Therefore each
transmitter must be taught-in once.
Note: The devices can be operated without registration and licen-
se free on the territory of the EU, Switzerland and Cyprus. The
use in other countries must be explicitly clarified!
General Safety Instructions
The devices must be used only for the permitted purpose. Incor-
rect or impermissible use or non-compliance with these instruc-
tions invalidates our warranty provision. Any alterations or modifi-
cations to the device are not permitted. Use the device only if it is
undamaged and clean.
WARNING! Installation, maintenance, overhaul and repair may
only be carried out by appropriately authorised and trained per-
sonnel.

Transport and Storage
Transport and storage are only permitted in the original packing.
Installation, Mounting / Wiring
The transmission range strongly depends on the local conditions.
Thus the radio signal can be strongly affected by conductive ma-
terials. This also includes thin foils, e.g. aluminum lamination on
insulation materials. A test with the field intensity meter EPM 300,
R. STAHL order no. 209483 should be carried out.
Typical transmission ranges are:
Line of sight in a free field approx. 300 m
Line of sight in corridors approx. 30 m
Line of sight in halls approx. 100 m
Steel concrete walls approx. 10 m through 1 wall
Brick walls approx. 20 m through max. 3 walls
Only suitable antennas must be used, e.g. RF magnet foot antenna
with 2.5 m connecting cable and SMA plug-in connector: R. STAHL
order no. 209484
• Mount the antenna on a sheet metal (min. 250 x 250 mm) as an
HF counterweight
• Maintain a lateral distance of min. 300 mm to the next adjacent
wall or source of disturbance
• Do not bend or jam the antenna cable
• Observe the minimum bending radius of > 15 mm

Before Putting into Service
• Make sure that the device is not damaged.
• Make sure that the device has been installed correctly.
Note:
The transmission of one radio signal from transmitter to receiver takes
approx. 80 to 100 ms on the basis of the EnOcean data transmission.
The switching signal of a transmitter must not be generated in shorter
time sequences as otherwise this signal will be suppressed.
A maximum of 10 transmitters can be taught-in simultaneously. To this
end, the LEDs indicate the operating modes. After providing the ope-
rating voltage to the receiver, the orange LED flashes when no switch
has been taught-in. If the orange LED is off, switches have already
been taught-in.
Operating and Display elements, Mode Selection
There are six different operating modes that
can be selected after switching on. For selec-
tion keep pushbutton »S1« pressed while swit-
ching on. The desired operating mode is confir-
med by quickly pressing the pushbutton »S1«
again (approx. 1 s). If the pushbutton »S1« is
not pressed again, the next operating mode is switched on after 5 s.
The "Conjunction" and "Latching function" operating modes can be se-
lected in addition to the other operating modes.
