1. Press and hold the on the right hand side of the GPS unit.
2. Once on, allow the GPS time to acquire a satellite signal.
3. Press on the right hand side until the MENU appears.
4. Using the ENTER/ROCKER key on the front of the GPS, scroll to then click on
the “Mark” icon.

5. Use the ENTER/ROCKER key to select Waypoint name field.
6. Enter the waypoint name by using the on-screen key pad (to skip, press right
arrow key).
7. When finished, click “OK.”
8. Select the “Location” field then enter the Coordinates using the on-screen key pad.
9. When finished, click “OK.”

9. Select “Find” on the Main Menu then select “Waypoints.”
10. Locate and select the waypoint then, on the next
screen, select “Go To.”

11. Allow the GPS time to load the coordinates and begin walking in the
direction indicated on the GPS map (Note: If for some reason the map
does not appear you may have lost satellite reception. Allow the GPS
time to re-locate the Waypoint.)
12.When you are within 20 feet of the geocache, the unit will beep.
13. Use your eyes to find the hidden cache. Caches are cleverly hidden but
NEVER buried. If available, decode the “Additional Hints” to help you
locate the geocache.
14.Once you find the hidden geocache, sign and date the log book and take a
story card (one card per person).
15. Re-hide the container where you found it for the next geocacher to find!
Note: To Zoom in and Out of Map, use the
IN/OUT Zoom keys on left side of unit.
