Unpack your Grill carefully
and remove temporary
packing pieces, labels and
stickers.
Wipe the Lid5. 1and Base 2using a cloth, slightly dampened with liquid
detergent and warm water.
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY PART OF THE GRILL BODY IN WATER.

thoroughly and insert into the slots in the front of the Base

When storing, allow to fully cool. Ensure that the Lid Lock

. The grill can be stored in a vertical position, to save on space. Store in a
dry place.
CAUTIONS
Check that the electrical supply ratings of the appliance are correct for your•
home (see Specications).
The appliance must be connected via an earthed socket, which should have an
•
individually rated load of above 10A. The plug must be fully pushed into the
socket. Overheating could occur if a socket is shared and overloaded.
Do not insert plug with wet hands.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with •
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

Do not operate this appliance using a timer/controller, or remote control•
system.
Do not place the appliance near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

The appliance should be placed on a level stable worktop at least 10cm from•
walls or other solid obstructions.

immersion in water or washing in a dishwasher.

does not cover any damage caused by taking the appliance apart yourself, or

GRILLING GUIDE
The grill is most suitable for tender cuts of meat. Less tender cuts of meat
should be marinated for a few hours or overnight to tenderise them. Drain excess
marinade off and dab with kitchen paper to avoid marking the Cooking Surfaces.
Do not salt meat before cooking. Do not overcook meat.
The following guide gives approximate ranges of cooking times. These will vary
according to the exact cut of meat, thickness and personal preference.
Food type Suggested cooking times
Beef 1 min (minute steak) - 6 min (sirloin steak, well done)
Pork 2 min (llet or bacon) - 6 min (steak)
Lamb 3 min - 4 min
Chicken 4 min - 6 min, or until cooked through
Sausages 3 min (thin) - 7 min (thick)
Vegetables 3 min - 5 min (sliced 1cm thick)
Seafood 1 min (scallops) - 5 min (sh cutlets)
CLEANING & STORAGE
Allow the Grill to cool before cleaning, but this will be easier if it is still slightly•
warm. Clean after every use and before storage.

General
Place the Grill upside down on a at surface. Ensure that the Power Cable 1.
