Overview
The Stellar Labs2.4GHzWireless Audio System providesa
meansof sendingtwo channelsof line level audio, wirelessly
overdistancesof up to 50m (164’),with fullaudiofidelity.
The system employschannelhoppingtechnology,ensuring
minimalinterference to and from otherwirelessdevicesin
the same location.
Highlysophisticatedsyncfunctionallowsconfigurationof
one transmitterto operate with multiple receivers,or
multiple transmittersto operateina single area, with each
beingable to syncwith a unique receiver.
Model#50-16600 transmitteracceptsL/RRCAlinelevel
audio,plusfeaturesaninternalD/Aconverter,allowingitto
acceptUSB audio from mostcomputers.
Model#50-16605 receiverprovidesL/R RCAlinelevel
output,perfectforconnectionto home theaterreceivers,
amplifiersorpoweredspeakers.
Model#50-16610 amplifiedreceiverprovidesL/R RCAline
level outputs,plusfeaturesaninternal20W x 2CH amplifier,
and candrive up to two pairsof8ohm speakers.

Operation Considerations –helpfulinformationbeforeproceedingtothesetupinstructions
Theseunitsaredesignedto performinenvironmentswith otherwirelessdevices, without interference. It ishoweverpossible to
experience undesirable resultsincertainextreme situations. If theAudioSenderisusedwith a computerina WiFi
environment, and the computerislocatednearthe maximum distance of the network, theaudio sendermayinterfere with
WiFioperation. In these casesitmaybe necessaryto move the computercloserto the wirelessrouter.
If theaudiosenderandreceiverare setclose to the max distancefrom eachother, itmaybe possible forexternalRFdevicesto
interfere with operation. In these casesitmaybe necessaryto move the senderand receiverclosertoeachother.
IF usingthe senderwitha computer, itmaybe necessaryto change the computerssound settingsto recognize thisUSB audio
device.Normally ona givencomputerthisonlyneedsto be done one time.
Whenfirstsyncingthe 50-16600Stereo AudioSenderto the 50-16610 AmplifiedReceiver, itisveryhelpfulto anactive sound
source connectedto the sender. The amplifiedreceiverwillremaininstandbymode untila source ispresent, evenafter
syncingto thetransmitter.Thissometimesmakesitdifficultto tellifthe two devicesare synced.

Installationand Setup
With all units, connectthe suppliedstubbyantenna to the antennaoutputjack.Duringoperation, thisantennashouldbe in
verticalposition. Note,if the antenna mustberepositionedafterinstallation, firstloosenthe connectornut.Failure to do so
mayresultindamage tothe delicateantenna.

•If connectingto the L/R(red/white)RCAinputs, firstplugthe includedACadaptorintothe rearportlabeledUSB.Then
place the frontpanel selectorinthe LINEINposition.
•If connectingto a computer, plugtheincludedUSB cable into therearportlabeledUSB,thenplugthe otherend of theUSB
cable into yourcomputersource.Place the frontpanel selectorinthe USB position. Once yourcomputerhasidentified
the USBdevice, enterthe audiodevice managerof your computer, youshouldsee the “4-syncwireless audio device”.Set
thisasyour defaultdevice.

50-16610– 2.4GHzWirelessAmplifier
•Connectanypairof 4ohmor8ohmspeakersto the Red/Blackpushterminaloutputs.If youare using8ohm speakers, two
pairsof speakersmayactuallybe connectedtothis amplifier.
•Connecttheincludedin-line “brick”powersupplyto the rearjack labeledDC IN15V.Plugthe powersupplyinto a suitable

•Move thefront panelPOWERswitchto the ON position. The frontpanelLED shouldlightGREEN.
Operation
SingleSENDERwithSingleRECEIVERor WIRELESS AMPLIFIER
With all unitsconnectedandpowered, pressand holdthe buttonlabeledMonthe SENDER.AfterholdingtheMbuttonfora
fewseconds, the powerindicatorwill beginblinkgreen/blue.Release theMbutton. While thepowerindicatorisblinking,
press andholdthe MbuttonontheRECEIVER orWIRELESS AMPLIFIER,untilthereceiverpowerbuttonbeginstoblink
green/blue.Release the Mbutton. The powerbuttonsonboth deviceswill continue toblink, and thenturn steadyblue. At
thistime,thetwo devicesare insyncand readyforuse.
Note: If youare usingthe wirelessamplifier, and youhave no sound sourceconnectedto the SENDER,the powerindicatoron
the amplifierwillturn back to steadygreen, while the SENDER issteadyblue. These unitsare actuallyinsync, the amplifieris
simplywaitingfora soundsource.Once audio is deliveredto the SENDER,the indicatorontheWIRELESS AMPLIFIER will
change to blue,and power-onthe amplifier.

MultipleIndependentSender/ReceiverSets
Thismaybe necessaryinenvironmentswheremultiple sourcesneedto besentto multiple destinationsinthe samegeneral
area, orto multiple inputsona single soundsystem.Note thateachSENDERmustsend to a uniquereceiverorgroup of
receivers.Multiple SENDERScannotbe syncedto a single RECEIVER.
SyncyourSENDERandfirstRECEIVERexactlyasshown inthe sectionsabove. If multiplereceiversare usedwith a single SENDER,
use the sameprocess asabove aswell.
Take a secondSENDER,and press the Mbutton, justasabove.Usingthe same methodasshown above, syncaRECEIVER to
that SENDER.Aslongasyourfirstsetisalreadyinsyncpriorto beginningthe syncprocessof the secondset, the secondsetwill
choose adifferentfrequency,and remainisolatedfrom thefirst.
AdditionalSetup andOperationNote
If thefinallocationof the SENDER andRECEIVER arenotclose together, itmaybe more convenienttotemporarily locate the
unitsinthe same area to sync.Oncetheyhave beensyncedto eachother, the internalsettingswill remainintact, evenwith
powerremoved. Itisperfectlyacceptable to syncthese ina convenientlocation, thenmove them to theirpermanent spot.
ImportantAntennaNote
Asmentionedearlier,the screwconnectionsonthe includedantennasarequite delicate.Theyonlyneedto be finger-tighton
the threadedconnectors. If repositioningthe antenna isnecessaryafterinstallation,be sure to loosenthe connectorpriorto
rotatingtheantenna.
