H625SSA000 CD Changer
1. Engage parking brake.
2. If automatic place vehicle in neutral
3. If manual un-screw shift knob from shifter and remove.
4. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
5. Using flat non-marring blade carefully pry up at location indicated with arrow the shifter bezel and remove.Disconnect lighter
connector by pinching detent on connectors.
6. Remove two screws using a phillips screwdriver as shown.
7. Turn knobs in positions shown (for Non-Automatic Climate control only).
8. Disconnect passenger cable as shown by pulling it off the lever arm.
9. Disconnect driver cable as shown by pulling it off the lever arm.
10. Carefully remove the center bezel using at flat non-marring tool.
11. Disconnect the Hazard connector (for Automatic and Non-Automatic Climate control) as shown
12. Disconnect the connector for heater/air conditioning controls as shown. (for Non-Automatic Climate control only).
13. Disconnect the connector for heater/air conditioning controls as shown. (for Non-Automatic Climate control only).
13A Disconnect the lower connectors ( for Automatic Climate control only).
14 Remove four phillips screws as shown, do not discard, and pull radio unit out.
15 Disconnect antenna wire.
16 Disconnect 14 pin connector.
17 Disconnect ground wire.
18 Remove three screws from the left hand bracket and one on the right hand bracket. Note the screws to discard and recycle.
19 Reinstall the two screws into the radio and install the CD changer using the four machine screws which came in the kit.
20 Connect the 16 pin harness from the CD changer to the radio.
21 Reconnect the antenna wire.
22 Reconnect the 14 pin connector.
23 Reconnect the ground wire, be sure ground wire is below the radio support.
24 Reinstall the radio using the four previously removed screws.
25 Reconnect the connector for heater/air conditioning controls as shown. (for Non-Automatic Climate control only).
26 Reconnect the connector for heater/air conditioning controls as shown. (for Non-Automatic Climate control only).
27 Reconnect the Hazard connector (for Non-Automatic Climate control) as shown.
28 Insert the cables into the dash, note cables will be crossed. (for Non-Automatic Climate control only).
29 Reinstall the trim by placing trim in place and carefully pushing it in place, be sure cables are not bound, but move freely
towards the lever arms. (for Non-Automatic Climate control only).
30 Reconnect driver cable as shown by pushing it on the lever arm.
31 Reconnect passenger cable as shown by pushing it on the lever arm.
31A Reconnect the lower connectors ( for Automatic Climate control only).
32 Reinstall the trim by placing trim in place and carefully pushing it in place. Reinstall two screws as shown.
33 Reconnect lighter harness.
34 Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
35 Reinstall the shifter bezel trim place in Park.
36 Reinstall the shifter bezel trim and reinstall the shift knob, if manual transmission.
