2. Product Outline
The Gen. 4.0 infotainment system has been adopted for the audio/navigation
system to enhance the following items.

- The printed antenna located in the rear windshield receives AM/FM radio broadcast
waves.
(d) Antenna Amplifier Amplifies the AM/FM radio broadcast waves received by the radio antenna and
outputs the amplified waves to the head unit.
(e) Roof Antenna
(SiriusXM radio)
The fin type antenna located on the roof receives SiriusXM radio broadcast waves and
outputs the waves to the cockpit control unit.
(f) Microphone Located in the map light, the microphone collects the sound of the passenger's voice
when using the voice recognition function or hands-free function.
(g) Steering switch Used to operate volume adjustment or switch between modes, and sends audio
operation signals such as station selection to the cockpit control unit.
(h) External Input Terminal
- One AUX terminal and two USB terminals are provided as input terminals for external
devices.
- When a portable audio player is connected to the AUX terminal, the voice signal is
output to the cockpit control unit.
- When USB memory or a device such as an iPod or iPhone is connected to the USB
terminal, USB communication is performed with the cockpit control unit. The device
connected to the USB terminal can also be charged.
(i) Front Door Speaker
Outputs the voice signals input from the cockpit control unit.
(j) Rear Door Speaker

An exterior has been adopted where 7-inch displays are positioned at the top and bottom of a
polycarbonate semi-gloss black coated panel, and a simple design is used that retains only
frequently used dial knobs and hard buttons.
The exterior gives the appearance of an advanced infotainment system, together with the GUI
enabling intuitive operations like a smartphone.

An 11.6-inch display is embedded into a polycarbonate in-mold formed black panel to achieve
a seamless exterior, and a simple design is used that retains only frequently used dial knobs
and hard buttons.
