Please read all instruction thoroughly before using this product.
Key points before using the cooktop
Before use:
Place cooktop on flat surface, but keep away from the wall or other articles. For best
results, leave at least 4 inches from all sides.
When the air entrance or the air outlet is blocked, the internal temperature of the cooktop
rises and may automatically shut off during cooking.
Keep away from gas range or coal oil stove. If the surrounding temperature is high,
cooker will stop heating.
Keep away from water source; the cooktop will not work if the air inlet and the air outlet
are wet.
Please do not use this cooktop near credit card, disc, watch or radio.
During use:
Do not place a sealed can on the cooktop. It may explode.
If the cooking oil is not enough or an empty pan is left on the cooktop for too long, it will
damage the cookware.
Do not place paper or cloth in between the cooktop and cookware to prevent over heat.
Do not put heated oil in the pan during cooking.
Please plug this cooktop in the correct 15 Amp outlet
Do not share the outlet with other appliances and make sure it is correctly plugged in.

Do not touch the ceramic plate immediately after cooking
The surface of the cooktop may remain hot due to the heat transferred from the cooking
pan.
Do not insert anything in the inlet or outlet
In case of the electric shock, do not insert any objects into the inlet and outlet.
Do not damage the ceramic plate
If the ceramic plate is broken, please turn off the unit and unplug the outlet immediately.
Important:
•If the electric cord is damaged, please contact our service technician for a
replacement.
•Although there’s a safety protector function to protect the cooktop from over heat,
please do not put any of the small metal objects on the ceramic plate. For example,
knife, fork, spoon and cover. These types of item will generate heat if it is placed
on the cootop.
•Anyone using the Pacemaker should contact his or her doctor for authorizations
before using this item.
•If the cooktop surface is broken, do not use the product anymore. If may cause
electric shock.
Emergency procedures:
If the cooktop is not working property, please do not use this item and contact our service
technician for service. Do not dissemble the unit yourself.
Time Setting Function
Time Setting Function is designed to set cook-time. This function is preceded by
selecting Cooking/Warming operating, and then setting cook-time. When the time is up,
the unit will shut off immediately.
Press Minute Key to set cook time from 0 to 9 minutes.
Press 10 Minutes Key to set cook time from 10 minutes to 90 minutes.
When the timer is set, the minute key indicator will flash. Each flash count as a second
and the cooking time decrease as the indicator light continue to flash.
Warming Function
Warming function is conducted by selecting this button. As the design of cooking
function, there are 3 temperature settings L/M/H (keep warm from 122F/248F/392F)
Press <-key to decrease the heating temperature.
Press -> key to increase the heating temperature.

Function Keys for (SR-1370/1770/1830/1860/1890/1930/1960/1990)
Press this key to choose to boil water, make porridge, slow cooking for 35 minutes and
slow cooking for 65 minutes.
•The cooking pot must be in flat surface or this function may not work on the
cooktop.
•Do not use too little water or the water will dry out before the heating temperature
of the cooking pot and the ceramic plate balance out. Do not use too much water,
water must be 1.2 inches below the top edge of the pot or the water will over flow
when it is boiled.
•When this function is selected, it will start to cook after 10 seconds. During this
operation, other functions will not be able to operate besides the off function.
When the job is finished or the pot is lift from the cooktop, the cooktop will make
10 beeps then automatically shuts off.
•If the cooking pot is not suitable for the cooktop, the water will not boil.
Therefore, this function key will flashes and the cooktop shuts off.
Boil Water
When boiling the water, we recommend using cover so it will take less time to boil.
Make Porridge
This function can work with 1 cup of rice and 7 cups of water or 2 cups of rice and 14
cups of water. When cooking with 1 cup of rice, do not use cover. When cooking
with 2 cups of rice, cover is needed.
Slow Cooking
When slow cook function is selected, the LED will show “35”. The cook time is set
for 35 minutes. Press the same button once more, the LED will show “65”. When this
function starts, the LED will show that the time is decrease from the selected time.
Must use cover to cook when using this function.
Safety Protection
Use at least 3.2 inches or above in diameter cook wares on the cooktop. The reason
for this is so that utensils in the pot will not heat and cause danger.
If utensils are on the cooktop, the “keep Warm” light will blink and the unit will turn
off after 10 minutes.

Under pressure Protection
If the voltage is too high, the temperature will decrease to prevent high temperature
from over heating. A light will flash warning to check the cooktop.
Automatically Shut-Off Function
If no one is available to keep an eye on the cooktop, the cooktop will automatically
shut off in 2 hours.
Overheat Protection
When the cooktop is in use, the heat will decrease automatically when it reaches
446ºF to prevent it from overheating. The light will switch from heat to keep warm.
When the temperature of the cookware decreases, the cooktop will automatically turn
back to heat.
The cooktop will decrease in temperature if it overheats. It will restart again once the
cooktop have lowered its temperature. A light will blink to indicate to check the
cooktop.

To Use The Cooktop
To turn on the cooktop, turn on the power and select L/M/H (Low, Medium, High) a
fan will rotate to indicate the cooktop is working.
To turn off the cooktop, turn off by pushing the off button. The fan will go on 30
seconds after turning it off to release off the hot air inside the cooktop.
The function of pushing the Cook/Warm button is “cook” will add heat and the
“warm” will keep the cooktop the temperature it was heated to. The cooking power is
divided into 9 sections, 1 being the least firepower and 9 being the highest firepower.
There are 5 lights indicating the power of the heat; 1 for small, 3 lights for medium,
and 5 lights for high heat.
*It is normal when the keep warm light flashes either with a cookware or without.

Maintaining the Product
Unplug the cord before any cleaning is done.

To wash the top of the cooktop, use a sponge with dishwashing liquid. Then use clean
damp towel to wipe clean.
To maintain the cooktop, use a clean, dry to wipe the cooktop. Do not use any type of
liquid to clean the top.
Warning
Do not place the cooktop directly in water to soak. This will damage the cooktop.
What to Check for if the Cooktop is not Working Properly
If Buttons Don’t Work: *Is the unit plugged in correctly?
*Is the buttons broken?
*Is it a blackout?
*Any sounds when pushing buttons?
Warm Light Flashing and no Heat:
*Cookware not fit the cooktop
*Cookware in the center of the cooktop
Suddenly Stop when Cooking:
*High temperatures in the environment
*Air filter is stuck
*Is it unattended for more than 2 hours?
When Red Light Flash: *Is the voltage too low?
*Used an extension cord?
*Other electric appliances using at the same time?
*Is the plug too hot?
Heat light keeps flashing: *Is the fan not working properly?
*Air filter stuck
*Temperature is high around the environment
*If none above, it will return back to normal. The cooktop
is just adjusting its temperature.
This product may cause interference to radio equipment and should not be installed
near maritime safety communications equipment or other critical navigation or
communication equipment operating between 0.45-30 MHz.
