Precautions and warnings for Use and handling of lithium battery 6S1P222V35AH –D-17556 July 20, 2020
Preface
In order to get the optimum performance reliability and safety from your
MagVibe Pro, users should read and become familiar with the following
instructions and precautions when using and handling Lithium batteries.
1. Charging
1.1 Only charge your lithium ion battery with the charger that came
with your system. If the charging current and/or voltage exceed the
values specified in the product specifications; you will damage the cells
and even overheat, cause leakage, fire or explosion.
1.2 Charging temperature: Your battery should be charged at room
temperature 75°F (23°C). Do not charge in temperatures exceeding
100°F (37°C). Stop charging immediately if the surface temperature of the battery housing is over 120°F (50°C).
1.3 Charging polarity: Never reverse polarity when charging. Reversing polarity when charging is strictly prohibited since it will lead
to fire or explosion.
1.4 To charge: Unscrew canteen style dust/water
cap on the MagVibe MVP300. Line-up and
screw the male charger port into the female
charger port on the MVP 300. Plug the
charger into the wall outlet. The LED on the
side of the charger will turn red. The LED will
stay red when charging until it reaches 95% of
full charge; then it will flicker between red and
green. Once at full charge the LED will turn
green.
2. Discharge
2.1 Discharge current: The cell should be discharged at the current no more than the maximum discharge current specified in
the product Specification. Over current discharging may damage the battery and cause overheating.
2.2 Operation temperature: Use the battery within the temperature range specified in the product
Specification. Stopping using when battery surface temperature is over 158°F (70°C).
2.3 Over discharge: over discharge will deteriorate the cells performance and characteristics. Do not over-discharge a battery
below 2.75V/cell (16.5V measured across all cells).
3. Storage
3.1 If you are intending to keep the battery for a long time (3 months or longer), it is strongly recommended that the battery shall
not store under the environment with temperature 50°F - 77°F (10 - 25°C), low humidity and without corrosive gases.
3.2 The battery should be charged once every six months to ensure that each cell voltage is 3.6 - 3.9V (21.6V –23.4V)
4. Other
4.1 short circuit the battery is strictly prohibited, it may cause fire or explosion.
4.2 Never disassemble the battery. It may cause fire.
4.3 Never dispose of the battery in fire, it is very dangerous and strictly prohibited.
4.4 To immerse the battery into the liquid, such as water is strictly prohibited.
4.5 Charging the battery in the car is prohibited.
4.6 Avoid: shock or extrude, handle carefully when moving it.
