This product was designed and manufactured to meet strict quality and safety standards.
There are, however, some installation and operation precautions which you should be particularly aware of.
1. Read these instructions.

5. Do not use this apparatus near water.

Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers)
that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug.
A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third
grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into
your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the
point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with
the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination
to avoid injury from tip-over.

CAUTION:
• To completely disconnect this product from the mains, disconnect the plug from the wall socket outlet.
The mains plug is used to completely interrupt the power supply to the unit and must be within easy access by
the user.

• Do not let insecticides, benzene, or thinner come in contact
with the unit.
• Never disassemble or modify the unit in any way.
• Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation
openings with items, such as newspapers, tablecloths or
curtains.
• Naked flame sources such as lighted candles should not be
placed on the unit.
• Observe and follow local regulations regarding battery
disposal.
• Do not expose the unit to dripping or splashing fluids.
• Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the
unit.
• Do not handle the mains cord with wet hands.
• When the switch is in the OFF position, the equipment is not
completely switched off from MAINS.
• The equipment shall be installed near the power supply so
that the power supply is easily accessible.

①Power Switch (Power)
Press the “Power” switch to turn the a210 on, and press
again to turn off. The sound will not be output for four
seconds after the a210 is turned on.
②Input Selector Switch (Selector)
Select input source (INPUT) that is connected at the
back of the a210.
③Volume Knob (Volume)
Adjust the audio volume. Audio level will increase by
turning the Volume clockwise.
④Headphone Output (Phones)
Insert headphones here. Sound will not be output to
the speakers when headphones are inserted. Adjust
headphone volume by turning the volume knob.
Note:
In the interest of sound quality, the headphone
output circuit has been designed without the use
of a series resistor. Therefore, the right and left
channels may be shorted when the headphone plug
is inserted halfway, resulting in sound dropouts.
When using headphones, make sure the head-
phone plug is inserted completely. Audio volume
should be minimized when the headphone plug is
inserted or removed.

zAudio Input (INPUT)
Connect line level audio sources here.
Note:
When connecting a cable to the Audio INPUT, first
power off the a210 or minimize the audio volume.
xGain Switch (GAIN)
The amplifier has two gain settings, “High” and “Low.”
Audio Output is greater when the Gain Switch is set to
“H.” The gain difference between “H” and “L” is about
14dB.
Note:
This function will be ignored and audio gain will be
fixed as “L” when Headphones are connected.
cSpeaker Terminal (SPEAKER)
These terminals are used for connecting speakers. The
impedance of the speaker must be 8 ohms or more.
Note:
Do not connect equipment other than speakers to
these terminals. Please keep as much distance as
possible between speaker cables and input cables.
vPre-Out Terminal (PRE OUT)
Access the Pre-Out stage (Volume Controlled) here
when connecting to another main amplifier.
Note:
NEVER connect the Pre-Out to theAudio Input (INPUT)
of the same equipment.
bAC Inlet
Please connect the supplied power cord to the AC Inlet
and power supply outlet.
Note:
•Never use the unit with any other cord except the
supplied power cord.
•Do not unplug the power code while the unit is
operating.

Connecting Speakers
• The impedance of the connected Speaker System
must be 8 ohms or more. If the connected speaker
has an impedance of less than 8 ohms, audio may
be distorted or the protection circuit may trigger to
prevent damage to the system.
• Always match polarity when connecting the amplifier
to the speaker system (Plus ( ): Red and Minus ( ):
Black).

Balanced Input/Output
The XLR Connector is used for Balanced Input/Output.
There are two types of connection, “European Type”
and “USA Type”.

This equipment adopts the European Type of XLR
connector. If the connecting equipment has the “USA
Type” of XLR then the audio signal becomes reverse
phase. In this case, swap pin 2 and pin 3 of XLR
connector (INPUT or OUTPUT) to work the same as the
European Type.

Attachment of Spike Pin
Attaching the optional spike pins to the bottom of the
unit will help protect the components from unwanted
mechanical energy.
Note:
•The tips of the spike pins are sharp and could
cause injury. Handle with great care when
mounting the spike pins and when installing the
equipment.
•Please be careful that the spike pins might cause
damage to the surface of the table or rack.
Troubleshooting

Maintenance
When the equipment has become dirty, wipe it clean
using a soft cloth. To remove stubborn stains, dilute
some dish-washing liquid in 5 or 6 times as much water,
soak a soft cloth in the solution, wring it out well, wipe
away the stains, and then wipe the surfaces dry with a
dry cloth.
Never use alcohol, paint thinners, benzine, insecticides
or other volatile substances since they may mar or
remove the surface gloss.
Bear in mind that rubbing surfaces with a chemical
cleaning cloth or leaving such a cloth in contact with a
surface for an extended time may result in deterioration.

①Bouton d’alimentation (Power)
Appuyez sur le bouton « Power » pour mettre le a210
sous tension, et appuyez à nouveau pour le mettre
hors tension. Le son ne se produira pas pendant quatre
secondes après avoir mis en marche le a210.
②Interrupteur de sélection d’entrée
(Selector)
Permet de sélectionner la source d’entrée (ENTREE)
connectée à l’arrière du a210.
③Bouton de volume (Volume)
Réglez le volume audio. Le niveau audio augmente en
tournant le volume dans le sens horaire.
④Sortie écouteurs (Phones)
Insérez les écouteurs à cet endroit. Le son ne sera pas
émis aux enceintes lorsque les écouteurs sont insérés.
Réglez le volume des écouteurs en tournant le bouton
volume.
Remarque :
Dans un souci de qualité du son, le circuit de la sortie
des écouteurs a été conçu sans l’utilisation d’une
résistance en série. Par conséquent, les canaux
gauche et droit peuvent être court-circuités lorsque
la prise des écouteurs est insérée à mi-chemin, ce
qui risque de provoquer une perte de son.
Lorsque vous utilisez des écouteurs, assurez-vous
que la prise des écouteurs soit entièrement insérée.
Le volume audio doit être réduit lorsque la prise des
écouteurs est insérée ou retirée.

zEntrée audio (INPUT)
Connectez les sources audio de niveau de ligne ici.
Remarque :
Lors de la connexion d’un câble à l’ENTRÉE audio,
éteignez tout d’abord le a210 ou réduisez le volume
audio.
xBouton d’acquisition (GAIN)
L’amplificateur est équipé de deux réglages de gain,
« Haut » et « Bas ». La sortie audio est plus importante
lorsque le commutateur gain est réglé sur « H ». La
différence de gain entre « H » et « L » est d’environ
14 dB.
Remarque :
Cette fonction ne sera pas prise en compte et le gain
audio sera fixé en « L » lorsque les écouteurs sont
connectés.
cBorne Baffles (SPEAKER)
Ces bornes servent à connecter des baffles. L’impédance
des baffles doit être de 8 Ohms ou plus.
Remarque :
Ne connectez pas d’appareil autre que les écouteurs
sur ces bornes. Veuillez maintenir le plus de distance
possible entre les câbles des enceintes et les câbles
d’entrée.
vBorne « Pre-Out » (PRE OUT)
Accédez au niveau pré-sortie (contrôle du volume) ici,
lors de la connexion d’un autre amplificateur principal.
Remarque :
NE JAMAIS connecter la pré-sortie à l’entrée audio
(ENTRÉE) d’un même appareil.
bEntrée CA
Veuillez connecter le cordon d’alimentation fourni à la
prise d’entrée CA et à la sortie d’alimentation.
Remarque :
•Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil avec un cordon autre
que le cordon d’alimentation fourni.
•Ne pas débrancher le cordon d’alimentation pendant
le fonctionnement de l’appareil.

Connexion des enceintes
• L’impédance du système des enceintes connectées
doit être de 8 ohms ou plus. Si l’enceinte branchée
possède une impédance inférieure à 8 ohms, la source
audio peut être déformée ou le circuit de protection
risque de se déclencher afin d’éviter d’endommager
le système.
• Faites toujours correspondre la polarité lors de la
connexion de l’amplificateur au système des enceintes
(plus ( ) : rouge et moins ( ) : noir).

Cet appareil est équipé pour un connecteur XLR de type
Europe. Si l’équipement de connexion est de « Type
USA » de XLR alors le signal audio change en phase
inverse. Dans ce cas, intervertissez les broches 2 et 3
du connecteur XLR (INPUT ou OUTPUT) afin d’obtenir
un fonctionnement identique au type Europe.

Fixation des chevilles pointues
Fixer des chevilles pointues facultatives au bas de
l’appareil contribuera à protéger les composants de
l’énergie mécanique indésirable.
Remarque :
•L'extrémité des plots est tranchante et pourrait
occasionner des blessures. Maniez les plots avec
soin lorsque vous les montez et lorsque vous
effectuez l'installation de l'équipement.
•Faites attention car les chevilles pointues peuvent
provoquer des dommages à la surface de la table
ou au support.
Dépannage

• Vérifiez l’alimentation
• Vérifiez le sélecteur d’entrée
• Vérifiez l’appareil source (alimentation, connexion ou
fonctionnement)
Entretien
Si l’appareil se salit, essuyez-le au moyen d’un chiffon
doux. Pour ôter des taches tenaces, diluez une petite
quantité de liquide vaisselle dans 5 à 6 parts d’eau,
trempez un chiffon doux dans cette solution, essorez-le
bien, nettoyez les taches, puis séchez les surfaces au
moyen d’un chiffon sec.
N’utilisez jamais d’alcool, de diluants, de benzine,
d’insecticides ou d’autres substances volatiles, car elles
risquent de tacher ou d’enlever le vernis de surface.
Gardez à l’esprit le fait que frotter les surfaces avec une
lingette nettoyante imbibée de produits chimiques, ou
laisser une telle lingette au contact pendant une période
prolongée risque de provoquer une détérioration des
surfaces.

product modification.

A service representative will advise you of how to obtain service.
Please do not return the unit directly to Superscope Technologies,
unless specified by our service representative.
2. You must pay any shipping charges if it is necessary to ship the
product for service. If the necessary repairs are covered by the
warranty, we will pay return shipping charges to your location
anywhere in the United States.
3. Whenever warranty service is required, you must present the
original dated sales receipt, or other proof of purchase.
Limitation of Implied Warranties:
All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and
fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the length of
this warranty.
Exclusion of Damages:
Liability for any defective product is limited to repair or replacement
of the product at Superscope’s option. Superscope shall not
be liable for damage to other products caused by any defects in
Superscope products, damages based on inconvenience or loss
of use of the product, or any other damages, whether incidental,
consequential, or otherwise.
Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and
exclusions may not apply to you.
How State Law Relates to the Warranty:
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other
rights which may vary from State to State.
This warranty is enforceable only in the United States and its
possessions or territories.
