ARDWARE INSTALLATION
Connect your speakers, audio source, or microphone to the 7.1 Channel USB 2.0
Sound Box using audio cables with 3.5mm plug (not included in the package). If you
ase a pair of stereo speakers (2 channels) or a stereo headphone, please connect it to
the “Front-Out” socket.
Connect the 7.1 Channel USB 2.0 Sound Box to an available USB port of your
somputer using the included USB cable.
The operating system will detect this adapter and install the build-in driver
gutomatically.
To verify the installation, open Device Manager, click “Sound, video, and game
controller”, and then double click on “USB Audio Device”. The device status
should be “This device is working properly.”

APPLICATION SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
Windows has default USB audio driver support, but if you want to enjoy fancy features
like Speaker Shifter, Environment Emulation, Equalizer, and Karaoke/Magic Voice,
please install Xear 3D software (Included in the package).
Installing Xear 3D for All Supported Windows OS
1. Before the software installation, you must plug in the USB 7.1ch audio adapter to your
computer
2. Insert the driver CD into the optical drive
3. For Windows 7, go to the driver CD folder D:\Xear 3D 7.1\Windows_7; for other
supported OS, go to the driver CD folder D:\Xear 3D 7.1\; then double click
“Setup.exe” (Assuming the optical drive is at D:)
4. The InstallShield Wizard software will guide you the steps till the installation is
completed.
5. You may be required to reboot the system after the software installation.
6. If the 7.1 Channel USB 2.0 Sound Box is connected to the computer, the Xear 3D
icon will show up on the Windows task bar. This means the USB connection has been
setup properly.
7. To access the Xear 3D functions, click on the Xear 3D icon on the Windows task bar.
