1 Attentions
Thank you for choosing BC360 Electronic Weighing Indicator. For proper application please read
this manual carefully before installation.
Check the package is well and make sure the package contents is comply with the packing list.
Check the product mode and type is accordance with your order. The product mode information is
on the label brand above the enclosure.
If there is any parts missed, broken, or mode inconformity in new carton, please prepare the
evidence (such as order No., the date of receive goods, product serial No.) and contact our branch office,
authorized agency.
Ground connection: to ensure the measuring performance and prevent shock hazard, the terminal
must be well grounded.
Power supply: This terminal is powered by universal switch power. Rated power supply voltage
24~28VDC, current less than 200mA, Separate the power supply with any motor driven equipment.
Environment: BC360 is not an intrinsic safe terminal and can not be used in hazardous area of
explosive dust and gas directly.

2 Function & Features
BC360 weighing indicator specially used for multiple ingredients batching during industry
control. This terminal is a weighing control expert on packing scale, drum-filling scale, bulk
weighing system, dosing and batching applications which widely suitable for such as metallurgy,
chemical industry, construction material industry, painting, cereal & feed, beverage, and in/out port
etc. industrial fields.

4 Installation and Connection
4.1 Installation
Front panel size(W x H):110mm X 62mm。
Enclosure size (W x H): 92mm x 45mm。

4.2.1 Power supply
BC360.XX is powered by a universal power supply that operates 20~28V 。Power supply
connects to +24V and -24V terminals, never share same power supply with motor, relay,
heater…high voltage equipments..

4.2.2 Load cell connection
BC360 is connected with max 6 pcs load cells of 350 ohms,(or load of 58 ohm). Wire
connections as below. When connecting 4 wires load cell, jumper must be placed between +EXC
and +SEN terminal and between EXC andSEN terminal.

4.2.4 Discrete input
Indicator has 4 inputs(BC360.C1/C2/C3 only has one “RUN/STOP”). Input wire diagrams:

Contact with DCOM over 100ms will trigger Auto-batching start
command and stop after a batching cycle finished when disconnect
with DCOM.

entered, the procedure will paused. This input contact with
DCOM2 will continue batching process.

Contact with DCOM2 over 100ms then release will trigger the

Set IN2 active will continue batching processing.
Set IN4 active will cease and exit batching processing.

the Dump output will set ON.

Contact with DCOM2 over 100ms then release will trigger
force-stop command. The batching procedure will ceased and the
terminal be in idle status. Set IN1 ON to start a new batching
cycle.
No operation is enabled if IN4 keep contacted with DCOM2.

Batching process
control
A 100ms-width pulse input trigger a batch feeding processing.
The terminal will pause and wait for Dump material command
after all material feeding finished.
In waiting for Dump status, a 100ms-width pulse input will
trigger a Dump command. The terminal return to idle status after
the material be dump empty.
The terminal will run batch feeding and Dump cycle
automatically when IN1 is keep contacted with DCOM.

PAUSE command.

Set IN4 active will cease and exit batching processing.

the Dump output will set ON.
Release with DCOM2 will set Dump output(OUT11) OFF.

Note:
The MOSFET outputs can pass through max 350mA @ max 30VDC. A freewheeling diode is
suggested to parallel with an inductive load to avoid damaging the discrete out port.
Below diagram explain a 2-speed, 4-mateiral batching system connection example.

5 Operation
5.1 Display
Power up sequence:
1、All LED segments light on for 2 seconds.
2、Upper display shows software number, lower display shows version number. for example,
upper display shows [000292],lower display shows [V 1.5].
3、enter into weighing display, if current load is under power-up zero range, the terminal execute
power-up zero operation.
Note:
1、if F2.7 is set to 0, power-up zero is disable, the terminal display current weight based on last
working zero, if there is tare during last turn off, tare can be reserved and displayed in next turning
on.
2、if F2.7 parameter is nonzero, and weight is within power-up zero range, the terminal execute
power-up zero operation. If current gross weight is over this setting power-up range the upper
display shows [E0], or show [- - - - - -] if the weighing signal is in motion.
3、If F6.10=1, the power-up zero is disabled and the terminal display current weight based on last
working zero during turning off.
