SYNCUSSION DRM 1
User Manual
We would like to thank you for purchasing our ANALOG DRUM MAC INE SYNCUSSION DRM 1.
To get the best results out of this extraordinary unit we would like to ask you first of all to read this user manual very carefully.
Your DRM 1 has following sound channels: DRUM1, DRUM2, DRUM3, MULTI, SNARE, CYMBAL, I AT and CLAP.
You have the facilities to create the most versatile and unique drum sounds that you have ever heard befor. erefore you have 7
controls per channel for individual settings. By using the triggerknobs or via MIDI keyboard you can trigger each sound
individually. The triggerknobs use a constant velocity of ¾, whereas using MIDI the unit will accept the velocity of the
keyboard. MIDI channel and keynumbers can be set individually. Each channel has extra settings for panorama and volume.
The audio signal can be taken from the individual outputs of every channel. On the front of the DRM 1 you have a MASTER
volume control and the headphone output. Please use a headphone with 40 Ohm.
On the rear of the unit you find the connectors: AC, MIDI IN and MIDI T RU, OUT LEFT and OUT RIG T.
To connect the DRM 1 with power please use an adapter with 12V AC / 800mA. The LED an the frontpannel will indicate if
the unit is ready to use. Please note: There is no switch for power on/off !

MIDI CONTROL
The factory setting of your DRM 1 is MIDI channal 10 and set to following key notes:
DRUM1 41 (F) DRUM2 48 (c) DRUM3 36 (C)
MULTI 58 (b) SNARE 40 (E) CYMBAL 51 (dis)
I AT OPEN 44 (GIS) I AT CLOSED 42 (FIS) CLAP 39 (DIS)
As you can see, MIDI decides the difference between I AT CLOSED and OPEN.
If you wish a different setting, please proceed as follows:
1) old any TRIG knob whilst connecting power.
2) The next key note sent by your MIDI controller (keyboard i.e.) will be accepted by the DRM 1 as new tone combination
for DRUM1, the next for DRUM2, the third for DRUM3 and so on until the eight for CLAP and memorized. I AT
CLOSED will always be automatically set internally two numbers beneath I AT OPEN.
