WELCOME
Thank you for purchasing the Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer SY-NT19. To benefit fully from this
product please read the following instructions carefully. Store the instructions manual in a safe
place for future reference.

SAFETY MEASURES
-Use the unit only for the intended purposes as described in this manual.
-Never leave the operating unit unattended.
-Do not use the accessories, which are not included in the set supplied with the unit.
-Switch off the unit when not in use, before replacing/removing the attachments or before
cleaning.
-For hygienic reasons, the appliance should only be used by one person.
-Do not immerse the unit into water or other liquids. To clean the blade, place it under
running water.
-Do not allow children to use the unit as a toy.
-Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of reach of children. They are

potentially dangerous.
-Keep away the product from any heat sources.
-This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person
responsible for their safety.
-Do not use the trimmer if the blade is not in perfect condition. This could cause serious
injuries.
-Do not leave the trimmer on clothes or any other objects while in use, in order to avoid
possible blockage.
-Do not place the trimmer connected on a flat surface such as a table or counter as the
vibration of the appliance may cause it to slide and break.
-Do not use the appliance on injured skin or with skin disease.
-Do not use the unit if it has any damages or if the unit malfunctions.
-Do not repair the unit yourself, contact the authorized service center.
-Watch the battery condition. Remove the battery from the battery compartment if you are
not planning to use the unit for a long time.
-Use and store the appliance at a temperature between 15°C and 35°C
-This unit is intended for household use only.
INSERTING THE BATTERIES
-Remove the battery compartment cover (6) by turning it clockwise.
-Insert one double “AA” type battery (not included) making sure to follow the polarities.
-Place the lid back on and close firmly.
USING THE TRIMMER
You can use the trimming head to trim your nose hair, ear hair or your eyebrows
Trimming nose hair
-Make sure your nostrils are clean.
-Remove the protective cap (1).
-Slide the on/off switch (3) to the on position.
-Carefully insert the trimming head (4) into one of your nostrils.
-Do not insert the trimming head more than 0,5cm into your nostrils.
-Slowly move the trimming head around to remove all unwanted hairs in your nostrils.
-To switch off the appliance, switch the on/off button to the off position.
Trimming ear hair
-Make sure your outer ear channels are clean and free from wax.
-Slide the on/off switch (3) to the on position.
-Slowly move the trimming head along the rim of the ear to remove hairs that stick out
beyond the rim.
-Insert the trimming head into the outer ear channel.
-Do not insert the trimming head more than 0.5cm into your ear channel, as this could
damage the eardrum.
-Slowly turn the trimming head around to remove all unwanted hairs from your outer ear

channel.
-To switch off the appliance, switch the on/off button to the off position.
Trimming eyebrows
-Comb your eyebrows in the direction of hair growth.
-Choose the short or long comb, depending on the desired hair length.
-Place the eyebrow comb onto the trimming head.
-Make sure that your eyebrow comb has been properly placed into the grooves on both
sides.
-Move the comb over the eyebrow from outer tip of the eyebrow towards the base of the
nose (against direction of hair growth).
-After use, make sure to switch off the unit.
Tip: We advise you to start trimming with the long comb. If you think your eyebrows are still
too long after this, use the short comb.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
-Clean the appliance immediately after use and when lot of hair or dirt has been
accumulated on the cutting element.
-Do not tap on the cutting element.
-Do not use any sharp objects to clean the cutting element
-Make sure the appliance is switched off.
-Remove the battery from the battery compartment
-Use the supplied brush to remove the remaining hair from the blade and from the combs.
-The blade can be cleaned under hot running water as shown above (Fig1) and for a better
cleaning, remove the trimming head (2) by turning it clockwise.
-Wipe the outer surface of the unit with a soft damp cloth, provided water does not get
inside the unit.
-Do not use any chemicals or abrasive liquids to clean the unit.
-Let all parts dry completely before you use the appliance again.
-Insert the battery back into the battery compartment
