Important information
Congratulations on your new radio.
Please read this manual carefully to avoid malfunction and damage to the radio and to
ensure that the radio will be a source of great pleasure to you for a very long time.
1. Do not expose the radio to direct sunlight, high humidity, dirt, heavy vibration or
extreme temperatures.
2. Place the unit on a solid and plane surface.
3. Make sure that there is sufficient ventilation around the radio. Do not place the
unit on a soft surface such as a carpet. Make sure that there is sufficient of
clearance behind the unit.
4. Do not open the cabinet. Only qualified technicians are allowed access to the
internal parts.
5. Make sure that liquid and foreign matter cannot enter the unit.
6. If service or repair is required, this must be carried out by qualified technicians.
7. Unplug the unit in the following cases:
A. The mains plug or the mains cable is defective.
B. Foreign matter or liquid has entered the radio.
C. The unit cannot be operated properly.
D. The unit has fallen down or the cabinet has been damaged.
8. Store this instruction manualcarefully for future reference.
9. Use a duster or a slightly damp, soft and non-fluffy rag to clean the radio.
10. Do not use corrosive or strong cleaning agents. Make sure that no moisture
penetrates the radio during cleaning. Unplug the unit before cleaning.

11. Check that the mains voltage indicated on the AC-adaptor corresponds to the
mains voltage that the unit is connected to.
12. Unplug the unit if the radio is not to be used for a long time.
13. Tangent has found that in situations where the supplied antenna is not used with
the product, strong signals can interfere with normal performance.

Front panel
1. POWER, INFO and AUTOTUNE:
A. POWER: Press this button to toggle the radio between ON and standby.
B. INFO: In DAB/DAB+, FM mode, while receiving a broadcast signal, press this
button to display queue information.
C. AUTOTUNE: In DAB/DAB+ mode press this button to make a quick scan; In FM
mode, press this button to autotune.
2. :
iPhone/iPod and CD mode only:
A. Press or once to go to the previous or next track respectively.
B. Press to pause, press again to continue enjoying.
C. Press to stop, press to exit stop.
3. MODE, MENU and ENTER:
A. MODE: Press this button to shift between DAB/DAB+, FM, iPhone, CD and AUX.
CD and AUX are only featured when a plug or disc is present.
B. MENU: Press this button to access the menu.
C. ENTER: a. Press this button to confirm.

CD mode only:
A. While playing a track, press and hold or to fast back- or forward.
B. Press to eject a CD from the CD slot.

5. VOLUME:
Turn this knob CW to increase the volume or CCW to decrease the volume.
6. DISPLAY SCREEN: LCD featuring special icons.
7. TUNE:Turnthis knob to browse options.
8. IR Receiver: Infrared receiver eye.

Top panel
1. ALARM: Press this button to set an alarm.
2. SNOOZE: When an alarm is given, press this button to postpone it for 7 minutes
(default). While under SNOOZE function, the display of the radio will indicate Snooze,
during this time, if you press any another button, snooze will be canceled.
3. SLEEP: Press this button to amend the sleep setting.
4. Preset buttons 1/5 2/6 3/7 4/8 and SHIFT:
DAB/DAB+ and FM mode use only:
A. To store a station in preset 1-4: press and hold the preferred preset button, until
the display indicates ‘Preset # stored’.
B. To store a station in preset 5-8: press the SHIFT button once, press and hold
the preferred preset button, until the display indicates ‘Preset # stored’.
C. To recall a stored in preset station 1-4: press the preferred preset button once.
D. To recall a stored in preset station 5-8: press the SHIFT button once, press the
preferred preset button once.
5. iPhone/iPod Docking:For playback and charging an iPhone/iPod.

Rear panel
1. AUX: Connect any stereo or mono audio source to this stereo input.
2. POWER SUPPLY: 12VDC 2.0A (3A stereo version), use this input to connect the
radio’s DC power supply.
3. EXTERNAL ANTENNA: The radio comes with a telescopic antenna. To improve FM
reception, angle the antenna for best the reception.

Remote control
1. POWER: Press this button to toggle the radio between ON and standby.
2. A. : For navigation of the menu, iPhone/iPod and CD.
B. ENTER: Press this button to confirm.
3. MEMORY: No function.
4. + TUNING –:
A. Stations can be tuned manually in 0.05MHz steps.
B. In DAB mode, press this button to toggle the station list.
5. INFO, AUTOTUNE and ST/MO:
A. INFO: In DAB/DAB+, FM mode, while receiving a broadcast signal, press this
button to display queue information.
B. AUTOTUNE: In DAB/DAB+ mode press this button to make a quick scan; In FM
mode, press this button to autotune.
C. ST/MO: In DAB/DAB+ or FM mode, press this button to shift between stereo or
mono.

Informations importantes
Félicitations pour votre nouvelle radio.
Veuillez lire attentivement ce manuel afin d'éviter un dysfonctionnement et les dommages
de la radio et pour s'assurer que la radio sera pour vous une source de divertissement
pendant longtemps.
1. N'exposez pas la radio à la lumière directe du soleil, à une humidité importante, à
la saleté, à des vibrations importantes ou à des températures extrêmes.
2. Posez l'appareil sur une surface solide et plane.
3. Assurez-vous que la zone autour de la radio est suffisamment ventilée. Ne posez
pas l'appareil sur une surface molle comme un tapis. Assurez-vous qu'il y a
suffisamment d'espace derrière l'appareil.
4. N'ouvrez pas l'enceinte de l'appareil. L'accès aux pièces à l'intérieur de l'appareil
est réservé aux techniciens qualifiés.
5. Assurez-vous qu'aucun liquide ou matières et matières étrangères ne peuvent
entrer dans l'appareil.
6. Si un entretien ou une réparation est nécessaire, cela doit être effectué par des
techniciens qualifiés.
7. Débranchez l'appareil dans les cas suivants :
A. La prise ou le câble d'alimentation est défectueux.
B. Une matière étrangère ou un liquide est entré dans la radio.
C. L'appareil ne fonctionne pas correctement.
D. L'appareil est tombé ou son enceinte a été endommagée.
8. Conservez ce manuel d'instructions pour référence future.
9. Utilisez un plumeau ou un chiffon doux et non pelucheux légèrement humide pour
nettoyer la radio.

10. N'utilisez pas de produits corrosifs ou d'agents nettoyants forts. Assurez-vous que
l'humidité ne rentre pas dans la radio pendant le nettoyage. Débranchez l'appareil
avant de le nettoyer.
11. Vérifiez que la tension d'alimentation indiquée sur l'adaptateur CA correspond à la
tension d'alimentation à laquelle l'appareil est connecté.
12. Débranchez l'appareil si vous n'utilisez pas la radio pendant une longue durée.
13. Tangent a remarqué que dans des situations où l'antenne fournie n'est pas
utilisée avec le produit, des signaux puissants peuvent interférer avec la
performance normale.

Façade
1. POWER, INFO et AUTOTUNE :
A. POWER : Appuyez sur ce bouton pour allumer / mettre en veille la radio.
B. INFO : En mode DAB/DAB+,FM, en recevant un signal de diffusion, appuyez sur
ce bouton pour afficher les informations de file.
C. AUTOTUNE : En mode DAB/DAB+, appuyez sur ce bouton pour effectuer un
balayage rapide ; en mode DAB/DAB+, appuyez sur ce bouton pour le tuning auto.
2. :
Mode iPhone/iPod et CD seulement :
A. Appuyez respectivement une fois sur ou pour aller à la piste précédente
ou à la piste suivante.
B. Appuyez sur pour mettre en pause, appuyez encore sur pour reprendre la
lecture.
C. Appuyez sur pour arrêter la lecture, appuyez sur pour annuler le mode stop.
3. MODE, MENU et ENTER :
A. MODE : Appuyez sur ce bouton pour alterner entre DAB/DAB+, FM, iPhone, CD et
AUX. CD et AUX ne fonctionnent que quand un appareil est branché dans la prise ou
si un disque est présent.
B. MENU : Appuyez sur ce bouton pour accéder au menu.
C. ENTER : a. Appuyez sur ce bouton pour confirmer.
