Le agradecemos que se haya decidido por la
compra de un producto de la marca Taurus
Alpatec.
Su tecnología, diseño y funcionalidad, junto
con el hecho de superar las más estrictas
normas de calidad le comportarán total
satisfacción durante mucho tiempo.
Leer atentamente este folleto de instrucciones
antes de poner el aparato en marcha y
guardarlo para posteriores consultas. La
no observación y cumplimiento de estas
instrucciones pueden comportar como
resultado un accidente.
Consejos y advertencias de
seguridad
Este es una estufa sin humo,
asegúrese que la habitación
este ventilada mientras el
calentador este en uso.
Utilizar úniciamente en lugares
bien ventilados.
No utilizar en habitaciones con
la puerta cerrada para facilitar
la ventilación.
No utilizar en vehículos
tales como caravanas,
autocaravanas y barcos
o cualquier otro espacio
connado.
La estufa no debe utilizarse
en viviendas de gran altura,
locales sanitarios (cuartos de
baño, aseo o ducha), sótanos

No utilice otros gases que no

Preste especial atención
cuando use la estufa en

funcionamiento. Oriente
siempre el calefactor hacia el
centro de la habitación durante
el funcionamiento.

Deje almenos 50 cm libres por
los lados y parte trasera y 100
cm por el frontal.
No mover la estufa sin haber
cerrado el gas y sin que haya
enfriado.
No coloque objetos sobre la
estufa.
No inserte objetos a través de
las rejillas de protección.

La rejilla de protección de este
electrodoméstico cumple con
los requisitos de la norma. No
brinda protección completa
para los niños pequeños o
enfermos. El protector es para
evitar el riesgo de lesiones

No utilice la estufa para secar
ropa, tejidos u otros materiales.
Además, nunca ponga ninguno
de estos elementos delante la

de madera o materiales
combustibles que puedan
deteriorarse con el calor.
No utilizar en dormitorios
durante el sueño, ni en ninguna
habitación donde alguien esté
durmiendo.
No exponer a agentes
atmosféricos.
Durante el funcionamiento
evite que los niños pequeños
puedan acercarse a la estufa.
Supervise que no juegan con
ella.
Preste atención y compruebe
que el tubo del gas no se dobla
en exceso de forma que evite
el tránsito de gas.
Cierre el paso del gas siempre
que no utilice la estufa.
Respete cuidadosamente las
condiciones de instalación y si
percibe olor a gas:
-Cierre el paso de gas en el
regulador de la bombona.
-Abra las ventanas.
No conecte ningún interruptor
eléctrico y apague cualquier
tipo de llama.

Avise a un técnico autorizado.
No situe la botella en posición
horizontal.
Si la estufa se apaga
automáticamente, no la
encienda inmediatamente.
Antes, deje que entre
aire nuevo y fresco en la
habitación. Si el problema
continúa, consulte a un servicio
técnico.
No utilice nunca el aspirador
sobre el panel catalítico, ni
sople sobre él o le arroje
líquido alguno. Cualquier
limpieza del panel catalítico
o de los componentes
de seguridad, ha de ser
efectuada por personal técnico
acreditado.
Compruebe regularmente el
estado del tubo exible del gas
y la fecha de caducidad.
Nunca utilice tubos o
reguladores de gas que no
cumplan con la normativa
vigente. Contacte un servicio
técnico en caso de duda.
Nota: El calefactor incorpora
varios dispositivos de
seguridad que apagará el
calefactor en condiciones
inseguras:
1. ODS (Sistema de
agotamiento de oxígeno) En
caso de falla de la llama, el
calentador de gas se apagará
automáticamente.
.2 El interruptor Tip Over
apagará el calefactor si
no está de pie sobre una
supercie nivelada o si el
calefactor recibe un golpe. Si
esto se activa, congure el
calefactor en posición vertical,
compruebe si hay daños
evidentes y espere de nuevo
5-10 minutos antes de intentar
volver a encender el calefactor.
ATENCIÓN: Para evitar
sobrecalentamiento no cubra el
calefactor.
¡PRECAUCIÓN! La supercie
permanece caliente durante y
después de su uso.
Servicio:
Cerciorarse que el servicio de mantenimiento
del aparato sea realizado por personal
especializado, y que caso de precisar
consumibles/recambios, éstos sean originales.
Toda utilización inadecuada, o en desacuerdo
con las instrucciones de uso, puede
comportar peligro, anulando la garantía y la
responsabilidad del fabricante.

MONTAJE:
Desembalar el aparato, recoger las ruedas y el
panel trasero.
Mover los paneles izquierdo y derecho hacia
afuera y levantar el panel inferior.
Fijar los paneles laterales en las ranuras del
panel inferior. Asegurarse que queden bien
alineados.
Colocar el panel superior en las ranuras, y
empujarlo hacia el panel frontal para que
quede jado.
Fijar los paneles mediante los tornillos.

Instalar el panel trasero después de realizar la
instalación de la bombona.
INSTALACIÓN
RECOMENDACIONES A LA INSTALACIÓN:
Asegúrese de que ha retirado todo el material
de embalaje del producto.
Es importante seguir las especicaciones que
la normativa legal vigente establece para el
emplazamiento y puesta en marcha de este
aparato, por lo que recomendamos consulte
un técnico autorizado. No obstante, si decide
prescindir de dicha consulta, seguidamente le
relacionamos las más importantes:
CONDICIONES DEL LOCAL:
- El local donde funcione el aparato
debe disponer de una entrada de aire
de al menos 105cm2 de sección, tanto
en la parte superior como en la inferior.
- Tener un volumen mínimo de 84m3 y el
mobiliario existente, 2m3 como máximo.
- Recomendamos no usar el aparato en
ambientes de uso de aerosoles muy frecuente.
Conexión del aparato:
El aparato puede conectarlo a la botella de
gas el propio usuario, sin tener que recurrir
a un instalador. Para ello debe proveerse
de los complementos necesarios para su
funcionamiento.
Complementos necesarios:
- 1 Botella de gas butano de 12.5 Kg,
envasado únicamente por Distribuidores
Ociales, según el gas indicado en la Placa
de Características. - 1 Regulador de
presión homologado e indicado en la Placa de
Características.
- 1 Tubo exible normalizado para gas de
longitud 0,5m.
- 2 Bridas de tornillo para el tubo exible.
- Para determinar estos complementos
consulte la placa de características y contacte
con su distribuidor de gas.
INSTALACIÓN DE LA ESTUFA:
Extraer la puerta trasera.
Conectar el tubo exible en la pipeta de
entrada de gas en la estufa y en el regulador,
asegurando la estanquiedad mediante las 2
bridas.
Situar la botella sobre la base y montar el
regulador en la botella. Asegúrese de que
el tubo exible no queda en contacto con el
frontal de la estufa. Se debe evitar retorcer
el tubo exible. El tubo exible se debe
revisar regularmente, y si es necesario debe
sustituirse.
Después de abrir el regulador, compruebe que
no hay fugas de gas mediante aplicación de
agua jabonosa con un pincel en la unión del
tubo exible con la estufa y el regulador.
Monte la puerta trasera, jándola mediante los
tornillos subministrados.
NOTAS:
Las botellas deben sustituirse de acuerdo con
las instrucciones suministradas.
El cambio de botella debe realizarse en
ambientes no inamables.
BUSQUEDAS DE FUGAS DE GAS:
El proceso de búsqueda de fugas de gas debe
realizarse en un lugar abierto y bien ventilado.
Apague cualquier llama que exista cerca, así
como cualquier aparato eléctrico. No fume
durante el proceso.
Compruebe que el gas está cerrado.
Prepare una solución jabonosa, con la misma
cantidad de agua que de jabón.
Use un pincel o similar para aplicar esta
solución a los extremos del tubo.

Abra el gas.
Si hay fugas, se formarán burbujas en
los puntos donde estén situadas. Si esto
sucede, cierre el gas y apriete las juntas. Si el
problema persiste, contacte con su vendedor
inmediatamente.
INSTRUCCIONES DE ENCENDIDO:
La estufa puede ser regulada en tres
intensidades de calor: 1 MAXIMO, 2 MEDIO,
3 MÍNIMO. El encendido es mediante
mecanismo piezoeléctrico.
1. Abra la vávula de gas de la bombona.
2. Ponga el controlador de potencia a la
posición 1 (Nivel bajo – Encendido).
3. Presione el controlador durane unos 10
segundos.
4. Mientras sigue presionando, presione una o
dos veces el botón de encendido hasta que se
encienda la luz piloto (en la parte inferior del
quemador). Continúe manteniendo presionada
la perilla de control durante 10 a 15 segundos
más. Suelte el botón, y si la llama piloto se
apaga, repita la operación anterior.
5. Después, si desea aumentar la potencia
presione ligeramente el controlador y gírelo
hasta la posición deseada. Nunca deje el
controlador en una posición intermedia.
INSTRUCCIONES DE APAGADO:
Para apagar la estufa:
1. Gire el controlador de potencia a la posición
*.
2. Cierre la vávula de gas.
ATENCIÓN: El ujo de gas no se cerrará si no
lo corta desde la bombona.
NOTA: no mueva o cubra la estufa antes de
que se haya enfriado totalmente.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO:
En caso de observar alguna anomalía o
si desea piezas de recambio contacte con
nuestro Servicio Técnico.
El mantenimiento periódico debe ser efectuado
exclusivamente por un Técnico autorizado
Recomendamos efectuar, por un técnico
autorizado, la revisión del aparato cada 2
años.
Vigile la llama piloto, que debe de ser estable.
Compruebe si es necesario cambiar el tubo
exible de gas. Si es necesario provéase de un
nuevo tubo y conéctelo como explicamos en el
capítulo “Instalación de la estufa”.
La limpieza del aparato debe realizarse con la
llave de gas cerrada, la estufa totalmente fría,
y utilizando productos no abrasivos. Utilice un
paño.
Recomendamos conservar la estufa cuando
no se utilice, en atmósferas sin polvo, cubierta
con una funda de tela o de plástico y en un
sitio seco.
ANOMALÍAS Y REPARACIÓN
En caso de avería llevar el aparato a un
Servicio de Asistencia Técnica autorizado. No
intente desmontarlo o repararlo ya que puede
existir peligro.

Its technology, design and operation, as well
as the fact that it exceeds the strictest quality
standards, guarantees total satisfaction for a
long time.
Read these instructions carefully before
switching on the appliance and keep them for
future reference. Failure to follow and observe
these instructions may result in an accident.
SAFETY ADVICE AND
WARNINGS
This is a smoke free heater,
make sure the room is
ventilated while the heater is in
use.
Only use in well-ventilated
areas.
To facilitate ventilation do not
use in rooms with the door
closed.
Do not use in vehicles such as
caravans, motor homes and
boats or any other conned
space.
The heater must not be used
in high-ceilinged dwellings,
sanitary facilities (bathrooms,
toilets or showers), basements
or bedrooms.
Do not use gases other than
those indicated for this product
(G30, Butane).
Be sure to use the heater on a
at surface.
Pay special attention when
using the heater in the
presence of children, the
elderly, the disabled or animals.
Always keep a safe distance
from the heater.
Do not place the heater near
walls, curtains or furniture while
it is in use. Always point the
heater towards the centre of
the room during use.
Do not place it in corners.

the grille.

water on the heater.
Do not use the heater if any of
its parts have been in contact
with water or in situations
of high humidity. In such
cases, consult an authorised
technician.
In the event of a malfunction,
always consult an authorised
specialised technician.
Do not store or use ammable
materials or liquids in the
vicinity of the heater.
In the event of a leak, the gas
supply to the appliance must
be cut o󰀨 at the gas bottle
valve.
Do not expose the bottle to
direct sunlight in summer, or
too close to a heat source.
Do not place the heater in
use near curtains, furniture,
wood panelling or combustible
materials that may be damaged
by heat.
Do not use in bedrooms while
sleeping, or in any room where
someone is sleeping.
Do not expose to atmospheric
agents.
During use, keep small
children away from the heater.
Supervise that they do not play
with it.
Pay attention and check
that the gas pipe is not bent
excessively in such a way as to
prevent gas transit.
Turn o󰀨 the gas whenever the
heater is not in use.
Carefully observe the
installation instructions and if
you smell gas:
-Shut o󰀨 the gas at the cylinder
regulator.
-Open the windows.
Do not turn on any electrical
switch and extinguish any kind
of ame.
Notify an authorised technician.
Do not place the bottle
horizontally.
If the heater switches o󰀨
automatically, do not switch it
on immediately. Beforehand,
let fresh, new air into the room.
If the problem persists, consult

with technical service.
Never use the hoover on the
catalytic panel, blow on it
or spill any liquid on it. Any
cleaning of the catalytic panel
or safety components must
be carried out by a certied
technician.
Check the condition of the
gas pipe and the expiry date
regularly.
Never use gas pipes or
regulators that do not comply
with current regulations.
Contact technical service if in
doubt.
Note: The heater incorporates
several safety devices that will
turn o󰀨 the heater in unsafe
conditions:
1. ODS (Oxygen Depletion
System) In case of ame
failure, the gas heater will
automatically turn o󰀨.
.2 The Tip Over switch will
turn the heater o󰀨 if it is not
standing on a level surface
or if the heater is knocked. If
this is triggered, set the heater
in an upright position, check
for obvious damage and wait
5-10 minutes again before
attempting to restart the heater.
ATTENTION: To prevent
overheating never cover the
heater.
PRECAUTION! The surface
remains hot during and after
use.
SERVICE:
Make sure that the appliance is serviced only
by specialist personnel, and that only original
spare parts or accessories are used to replace
existing parts/accessories.
Misuse or failure to follow the instructions may
be dangerous and renders the manufacturer’s
guarantee null and void.

ASSEMBLY:
Unpack the appliance, gather the wheels and
the rear panel.
Move the left and right panels outwards and lift
the lower panel.
Fix the side panels in the slots of the bottom
panel. Make sure they are properly aligned.
Place the top panel into the slots, and push it
towards the front panel to x it in place.
Fasten the panels with the screws.
Install wheels in position
Install the rear panel after the installation of the
cylinder.

Make sure that the entire product’s packaging
has been removed.
It is important to follow the specications
established by the current legal regulations
for the installation and commissioning of this
appliance, for which we recommend that you
consult an authorised technician. However, if
you decide to forego such advice, the most

Connection of the appliance:
The appliance can be connected to the gas
bottle by the user himself, without the need of
an installer. To this end, they must have the
necessary accessories for its proper use.
Necessary accessories:
- 1 12.5 kg butane gas bottle, lled only by
O󰀩cial Distributors, according to the gas
indicated on the nameplate.
- 1 Pressure regulator approved and indicated
on the nameplate.
- 1 S t a n d a r d  e x i b l e g a s p i p e 0 . 5 m l o n g .
- 2 Screw anges for the exible pipe. -
To determine these accessories, please
refer to the nameplate and contact your gas
supplier.
HEATER INSTALLATION:
Remove the rear door.
Connect the exible pipe to the gas inlet nozzle
on the heater and to the regulator, making sure
it is airtight by means of the 2 anges.
Place the bottle on the base and mount the
regulator on the bottle. Make sure that the pipe
does not come into contact with the front of
the heater. Avoid twisting the exible pipe. The
exible pipe should be checked regularly and
replaced if necessary.
After opening the regulator, check for gas leaks
by applying soapy water with a brush to the
connection of the exible pipe to the heater
and the regulator.
Mount the rear door, securing it with the screws
supplied.
NOTES:
The bottles must be replaced according to the
instructions provided.
Replacement of bottles must be carried out in
non-ammable environments.
SEARCHING FOR GAS LEAKS:
The process for searching for gas leaks must
be carried out in an open and well-ventilated
area. Turn o󰀨 any existing ames in the vicinity,
as well as any electrical appliances. Do not
smoke during the process.
Check to make sure the gas is closed.
Prepare a soapy solution, with the same
amount of water as soap.
Use a brush or similar to apply this solution to
the ends of the pipe.
Open the gas.
If there are leaks, bubbles will form at the
points where they are located. If this happens,
turn o󰀨 the gas and tighten the gaskets. If
the problem persists, contact your dealer
immediately.
IGNITION INSTRUCTIONS:
The heater can be regulated in three heat
intensities: 1 MAXIMUM, 2 MEDIUM,
3 MINIMUM. Ignition is by means of a
piezoelectric mechanism.
1. Open the gas valve on the cylinder.
2. Set the power controller to position 1 (Low
Level - On).
3. Press the controller for about 10 seconds.
4. While continuing to press, press the ignition
button once or twice until the pilot light (at the
bottom of the burner) comes on. Continue to
hold down the control knob for an additional
10 to 15 seconds. Release the button, and if
the pilot ame goes out, repeat the previous
process.
5. Then, if you want to increase the power,
press the controller slightly and turn it to the
desired position. Never leave the controller in
an intermediate position.
SWITCH OFF INSTRUCTIONS:
To turn o󰀨 the heater:
1. Turn the power controller to the * position.
2. Close the gas valve.
ATTENTION: The gas ow will not be shut o󰀨 if
you do not shut it o󰀨 from the cylinder.

NOTE: do not move or cover the heater before
it has cooled down completely.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
In the event of any anomaly or if you require
spare parts, please contact our Technical
Service.
Periodic maintenance should only be carried
out by an authorised technician.
We recommend having the appliance serviced
by an authorised technician every 2 years.
Monitor the pilot ame, which must be stable.
Check if the exible gas pipe needs to be
replaced. If necessary, obtain a new pipe and
connect it as described in the chapter “Heater
installation”.
The appliance must be cleaned with the gas
valve switched o󰀨, the heater completely cold,
and using non-abrasive products. Use a cloth.
We recommend storing the heater when not in
use, in a dust-free atmosphere, covered with a
cloth or plastic cover and in a dry place.
ANOMALIES AND REPAIRS
Take the appliance to an authorised technical
support service if problems arise. Do not
try to dismantle or repair it, as this may be
dangerous.
