The amplifier set up on a pedal-board:
What are the benefits?
There is no need for additional foot-switches to control the Stomp-Heads
functions, because they are all integrated into our compact amplifier.
However, if needed, our amp is also equipped with the option of controlling
all its features via an external controller
Much less humming and interference noises due to very short connections
There is no need for large amounts of long and heavy cable runs to
connect effect loops or amplifier switchers. As a result, when all external
wiring of the amp controller and FX Loop is eliminated, the whole guitar
sound system is extremely compact and light.
Connecting wires between the amplifier and the effects are much shorter
than in traditional set-ups, therefore problems related to loss of signal
quality are reduce (much less humming and interference).
Set up is extremely easy and takes just seconds. All you need to do is
connect the speaker cabinet, plug the power cable into the pedalboard,
and hook up your guitar. Three external wires - that’s all.
All the controls to precisely adjust the sound of the amp or effects are in
plain view on the pedalboard right in front of the guitarist. Therefore,
immediate adjustments can be done at any time, without lag.
The sound of your guitar can be precisely set at the exact spot on stage
where you play.
Stomp-Head offers a whole range of on-board sounds as a CLEAN,
CRUNCH, DRIVE and BOOST function. This eliminates the need for these
extra effects on your pedalboard, and creates more space for your other
stompboxes.

To control CLEAN, CRUNCH and DRIVE you can use momentary (pulse) or

External connections
The external effects may be connected between both preamps (CLEAN and
LEAD) and the MASTER section through the parallel EFFECT LOOP. This
typeofconnectionisrecommendedwhentheVolumepedalorDelay,Reverb,
Flanger type of effects are used. When the mixer or the external amplifier is
connected, the LINE-OUTPUT with integrated cabinet simulator must be
used. Signal from Line-out can be lead in different ways: with simulation,
withoutsimulationorboth.

IR CAB Simulation
If you want to record your guitar or use the amplifier as a pre-amp without a cabinet then you
have a special tool on board - an advanced loudspeaker simulator with IR louder. It is possible
to save 16 IR files of speaker simulation through the USB port.
A simulation of the microphone position is also available and provides additional possibilities of
equalizing the colour of your sound at the line output. Thanks to this solution you can get closer
to the sound conditions of a classic set of speakers with a microphone setup.You get the right
placement and sound of the instrument in the band's mix by transmitting the signal from the
line output without using the speaker. All this is done in an analog way, very simple and
intuitive, without the use other additional processors. The line output has two signals paths,
with or without simulation. This feature also allows you to connect an external loudspeaker
simulator. So you can use the built-in simulation, external simulation or both of them at once.
How to transfer IR files.
1. Download and install the IR converter on your computer.
The program allows you to convert files of various formats to the IR Sh7 format.
2. Download and install the file for editing and saving files.
The program allows you to save and transfer files to the amplifier as well as edit the sound
or create your own speaker profiles to define the sound on line output.
CAB SIM has 16 factory profiles that can be edited or loaded your own.
To load your own files, first convert them in the file converter installed on your computer as
follows:
1. Start the IR converter program
2. Click "select source IR files" and select the files to convert.
3. Click "select destination folder" and select a folder to save files in the new format
4. Make the conversion by clicking on "Start conversion".
To load the prepared pulses, connect the SH7 to the computer with the MINI-USB / USB cable
without turning on the amplifier's power.
Then the SH7 loader will be visible on computer screen as an external drive to which the
previously prepared IR files should be transferred.
The memory bank architecture is set as follows: there are four banks (0,1,2,3).
Each of them may contain four files marked on the selector (0,1,2,3).
After loading the files, turn on the amplifier. Then start to use the loaded files by choose them
with the selector located on the back panel.
Each of the files can also be edited and saved using the IR pulse editing program: AMT
Pangea CP PA. The timbre of the sound can be easily adjusted live with the MIC POSITION
knob.

SERVO
SERVO plays the role of some kind of "soul post" of the amplifier and
enriches the sound in a magical way. Servo perfectly complements
cleansounds,especiallymakingthesoundof singlecoilpickupsmuch
richer.
It makes the sound very vivid and saturated and gives the feeling of
playing on much higher quality instrument. The SERVO saturates the
sound of the instrument by adding the qualities which make playing
moreenjoyableand,moreimportantly,moreinspiring.Additionally,the
guitarsoundisverywellsetintheband'soverallmix.
The SERVO complements the features playing and gigging guitarists
needthemosttoachievefullcomfort.
The unit generates harmonics which significantly enrich the sound of
the instrument and greatly complements the sound. Suddenly,
guitaristswilldiscovertoneswhichwereabsentintheirsound,andnow
begintoflowfreely,becomingsofriendlyandinspirational.

Each channel is equipped with a standard 4-point equalizer: BASS, MIDDLE,
TREBLE and PRESENCE. The MID-RANGE switch sweeps the frequency of the
MIDDLE potentiometer. This option is very useful in the proper setting of the guitar's
sound in an overall band's mix depending on the style of music played and type of
guitar used.Additionally, the highest frequency range of the guitar can be altered by
theBRIGHT/DARKswitch.
NOISE GATE is a very useful in conditions when you have to take care of minimize
interference that often occurs on the stage and are picked up by sensitive guitar
pickups.
The resonance switch increases the sound in the resonance range of the
loudspeaker. This function is available only when a cabinet is connected to the
amplifier. The level of resonance gained depends on the speaker cabinet's
properties,size,impedanceandtypeofspeaker.

BOOST MODE
TUBES
POWER SELECTOR
The BOOST MODE allows for instant
increase of volume level during a
performance. The potentiometer and a
foot-switch BOOST are designed to control
the BOOST MODE. The BOOST function
performs two features at the same time: it
boosts a signal at the input of the preamp,
giving extra compression and raising the
volume. Desired volume level may be
adjusted by tweaking the potentiometer. By
thenpressingthe BOOSTswitchlocatedon
the top of the amp, two different volume
levels previously set will be obtained. The
BOOST MODE is quite beneficial as it
heightens the guitar solo during a live
performances.
The amplifier automatically adjusts its
operating parameters and can serve
4, 8 and 16 Ohm cabinets.
The amp can also be used without a
speaker cabinet. If so, the power amp is
automatically locked (LINE OUT is active only).
The amplifier is equipped with a 4-way power
output selector. It allows you to use speaker
cabinets of any size, power and impedance.
The following power options are available:
12W, 20W, 40W and 90Wat.
Optimal operating parameters of tubes 12AX7 are set during amp's manufacturing
process.Thecharacteristicsofeachtubeintheamplifieris individuallytunedatMTD
system (Master Tube Design), to achieve the best performance possible. It is not
recommended to replace the tubes. Replacing working tubes with some other brand
will not improve the sound. The 12Ax7 are already tuned to perform at maximum
capability. Only broken tubes should be replaced.The tubes in MTD technology
works in perfectly designed environment which allows them to have very long life
span.Ifnotmechanicallydamagedthereisnoreasontochangethemforyears

Amplifier produces high volume levels. Staying in places of high volume
levels could cause permanent hearing loss.
Do not use the amplifier in humid and dusty places.
Do not operate the amplifier through the unearthed socket.
Do not leave the amplifier in the vicinity of children.
Do not use the amplifier with broken power outlet or improper power cord.
Do not install nor use the amplifier near any heat sources, in case of
overheating the amplifier turns off
Do not cover the vent holes!
In order to ensure proper air circulation, do not block any of the ventilation
openings.
Never put any liquid containers near the amplifier.
In case of any objects or liquid access inside the amplifier, urgently switch the
apparatus off and unplug the power supply cord.
Protect the amplifier from any strikes.
ATTENTION: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not remove the back
cover of the amplifier. Inside parts can be repaired only by qualified service
personnel.
