• Press the 0/1 key to turn the system on. The "ON" message is displayed.
• Select the fan operating mode by pressing the key.
: Automatic mode: the fan speed (high and low) is selected automatically according to the difference between the
ambient temperature and the setpoint.
: High fan speed.
: Low fan speed.
• Adjust the temperature setpoint to the level desired using the and keys:
Press once on the or the key. The temperature setpoint of the current program mode (HEAT for heating or COOL
for cooling) is displayed followed by the symbol. Make any necessary adjustments to this value by repeatedly pressing
the and keys.
• To modify the temperature setpoint of the mode which is not currently active, press the 0/1 key. The other temperature
setpointvalueisdisplayedfollowedbythe symbol.Makeanynecessaryadjustmentstothisvaluebyrepeatedlypressing
the and keys.
• After a few seconds, the display returns automatically to the ambient temperature indication.
NOTE:Toavoidoperatingproblems,thesystemisdesignedsothatthecoolingtemperaturesetpointisalways2degrees
higher than the heating temperature setpoint.
Temperature setpoint adjustment example: 19°C in heating mode ("HEAT"),
25°C in cooling mode ("COOL").
In this case, when the temperature tends to decrease, the system will operate in heating mode to maintain the temperature
at 19°C. When the temperature tends to increase, the system will operate in cooling mode to maintain the temperature at
25°C.
• The thermostat can be configured for simplified adjustment with one single temperature setpoint. In this case, perform the
following operations to modify this temperature setpoint :
Press either the or key once. The temperature setpoint appears, followed by the symbol.
Makeany necessaryadjustments tothis valueby repeatedlypressing the and keys.After afew seconds,the display
automatic returns to the ambient temperature indication.
Example: Single temperature setpoint at 20°C.
In this case, when the temperature tends to decrease, the system will operate in heating mode to maintain the temperature
at 20°C. When the temperature tends to increase, the system will operate in cooling mode to maintain the temperature at
20°C.
NOTE: In the examples given above, it is obvious that heating or cooling can only be performed if the installation
and particularly the terminal units are capable of these functions (water at the correct temperature, electric heating
present, …).

4.1 - OPERATING MODE
: Heating mode: blinks if the thermostat detects a heating request.
: Cooling mode: blinks if the thermostat detects a cooling request.
If no heating or cooling request is detected, the two symbols remain lit.
4.2 - "ECO" AND "EXTENDED ABSENCE" FUNCTIONS
• The thermostat can receive orders (issuing from the optional IU-4 communication interface) for the following functions :
: "Eco" ("Unoccupied"): The thermostat’s temperature setpoints shift to 15°C in heating mode and 29°C in cooling
mode.
NOTE: The normal operating mode ("occupied") is signaled by the symbol.
: "Extended absence" ("Antifreeze"): The thermostat’s heating temperature setpoint shifts to 10°C. Cooling is
inhibited (set at 48°C).
If these temperature setpoints are not appropriate, they may be temporarily modified on the thermostat for a period
of one hour (override).
Simplyadjustthetemperaturesetpoint(s)tothedesiredvalue.The symbolwillappearsignalingtheoverrideperiod.
Upon return to "occupied" mode, the temperature setpoints automatically return to the values that were assigned
prior to the change-over to "Eco" or "Extended absence" mode.
4.3 - KEYPAD LOCKOUT
• This configuration is signaled by the symbol.
All manipulation of keys remains without effect. The thermostat remains in the configuration (temperature setpoints and
operation) it had prior to being locked.
• Consult a technician to unlock the thermostat.
• Press the 0/1 key. The "OFF" message is displayed.

5.1 - POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION
• If the power supply is interrupted (even for a long period of time), the thermostat retains its operating conditions (on, off, fan,
temperaturesetpoints)priorto theinterruption inmemory.Whenpowerisrestored, normaloperation willcontinueasbefore.
5.2 - ACCURACY OF TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS
• Providedthattheinstallationinstructionshavebeenrespected,completeaccuracyisattainedwhenthethermostatisinstalled
and operational for more than one hour.
5.3 - DISPLAY IN CELSIUS / FAHRENHEIT DEGREES
• Press simultaneously on the and keys to change the unit of temperature.
5.2 - WATER TEMPERATURE CONTROL
• For installations capable of operating with cold and hot water, the system is fitted with a water temperature probe to
automatically check the presence of hot water (if the heating mode is requested) or cold water (if the cooling mode is
requested).
If the temperature of the water circulating in the air conditioner is not correct, its operation is restricted for one hour.
Afterthistime,thesystemteststhewatertemperatureagain.Thisverificationcanbeperformedduringthistimebyperforming
an "On/Off" sequence using the 0/1 key.
