Dear Sir/Madame, thank you very much for having purchased our product. The fo owing
warnings and suggestions concern the procedures to be fo owed for a correct insta ation, use
and maintenance of the app iance, to safeguard your safety as we as to obtain the very best
performance from the characteristics of the app iance.
Genera information
Genera informationGenera information
Genera information - To insta and use any e ectric app iance a few fundamenta ru es must
be respected. This app iance must be insta ed by specia ised personne in accordance with the
regu ations in force. Any maintenance or adjustment intervention must be carried out with the
app iance unp ugged from the power source.
Warning: Gas cooking app iances produce heat and damp in the room where they are ocated.
An adequate airing of the room must be ensured by keeping every natura venti ation orifice
open or by insta ing an in et hood fitted with a waste pipe.
Before switching on the oven for
the first time, c ean it with soap and water and then rinse it thorough y. Assemb e the atera
guides and insert any grids. Heat the oven for approximate y 1 hour at maximum temperature
so as to e iminate possib e odours that may arise from therma insu ation or grease residue.
P ace of insta ation
P ace of insta ationP ace of insta ation
P ace of insta ation -For the gas app iance to work correct y, the gas combustion must be
supp ied by enough air reaching the room in a natura way. (The insta er must abide by the
current nationa insta ation norms and subsequent amendments). The air circu ating into the
room must arrive direct y from openings made in the externa wa s (Fig. a). Such openings must
have a c ear 100 cm
2
cross section area for the air f ow and a 100 cm
2
one to discharge
combusted gas. Shou d other gas operating app iances be insta ed, such openings must be
appropriate y en arged. These openings must be ocated in such a way as not to be obstructed
from either the inside or the outside. The opening a owing air circu ation must be p aced c ose
to the ground, whi st the one used for the combustion discharge must be ocated on the high
side of an externa wa . Cou d not these openings be made in the same area where the
app iance is insta ed, the amount of air needed cou d a so come from an adjacent room,
provided that this is not a bedroom nor a dangerous area and that it is appropriate y venti ated
(current nationa insta ation norms and subsequent amendments).
Discharge of combustion products
Discharge of combustion productsDischarge of combustion products
Discharge of combustion products -Gas type cooking app iances must discharge the
combusted products through hoods connected to the chimney f ue or direct y to the outside.
The hood must be positioned at east 700 mm far from the working surface (Fig. b). Keep this
distance a so when insta ing components or she ves horizonta y above the app iance. In case a
hood cou d not be insta ed, an e ectric venti ation unit must be app ied to the externa part of
the room or to a window, provided that the room is fitted with openings for air circu ation (the
current nationa insta ation norms and subsequent amendments) – (Fig. c). The e ectric
venti ation unit must ensure an air circu ation rate equiva ent to 3-5 times the vo ume of that
room per hour.
Warning: an intense and pro onged use of the app iance may require additiona aeration, which
cou d be achieved opening a window or increasing the mechanica in et power, where it exists,

Connect the app iance to a gas cy inder or mains gas pipe according to the prescriptions of
standards (as per current nationa insta ation norms and subsequent amendments). To connect
gas, use an approved rigid meta pipe in copper or stain ess-stee (the current nationa
insta ation norms and subsequent amendments). The app iance is equipped with threaded GJ
½” pipes for gas inf ow. Check if the app iance is designed to operate on the same type of gas
as supp ied and if pressure is set for that type of gas. Otherwise, carry out the operations
indicated in paragraph “ADAPTING TO DIFFERENT TYPES OF GAS”.
