1Introduction
The 2/1-portFXSATAWiFi-RouterisaSIP- based high performanceWiFiIPgatewaywithembedded
router.Itisidealforresidential/SOHO oreven SMEVoIPcommunications. Itcan support 2FXSportsfor
phone orFAX.Furthermore,thisproductisconfigurableformatching withdifferenttelephones,facsimiles,
voicemailsystems,IVRsystemand different country networksoverthe worldbysoftwaresettings.
Thisrouterisbuiltwithapowerful routerand fullwire-speed Ethernetswitchthatnotonlysavemoneyand
space, but alsoofferunbeatablesuperiorvoicequalityforVoIPcalls.Thisroutercanbe configured
downgrade toan IP-Sharer/NAT orapurebridged switchforvariousapplications. Of course, the WiFi
facilityenablesuser'sPCstoconnect toInternetorlinkthisVoIProutertoInternet world.ThisWiFi

end (e.g. an ADSLmodem, acablemodem, orarouteretc).
Step 2: Connectpower
Withthe poweradaptorinthe productpackage,pleaseplug itspowercordtothe rearpanelof
2/1-portFXS ATAWiFi-Router.Then plug the powerplug tothe wall outlet.You willsee thatthe
LEDson 2/1-port FXSATAWiFi-Routerareturned on.
[Note]:The RSTbutton isused for:
Resettofactory defaultvalues –when WiFi-Routerisinreadymode,press thisbutton
longerthan 5seconds.
Rebootthesystem –when WiFi-Routerisinreadymode,pressthisbutton less than 5
seconds.
Step 3: Configure network and register account
PleaserefertoChapter5toconfigurethe network well and successfullyregisteryouraccount.
Check if the 2/1-portFXSATAWiFi-Routerworksbypickup an analogue phone, ifthereisadialing
tone, and then dial several numberstosee whetherthephone isresponsive.
Step 4: ConnectLANport
Pleaserefertothe figureFig.4.1~4.3above.And thenusean Ethernet cable(CAT-5)toconnect
one of the fourLANportson the RoutertoPC, notebook, printer, router, orhub.
Step 5: Connectto WiFi Router
PleaserefertoChapter8toconnectaPCornotebookto2/1-portFXSATAWiFi-Routerwell.The
PCornotebookshouldcan browserthe Internetfine.
5SetupWiFi-RouterThruWebBrowser
The routerprovidesabuilt-inweb server.You canconnect yourPCtothe LANport.Andyoucan useweb
browser(likeMicrosoft IETM)toconfigurethe router.Forthe factory defaultsetting,pleasefollowthe steps
belowforconfiguration.
- First pleaseconnect yourpctoLANport and configureyourIPtothe 192.168.1.xxx network
segment.
- Then inputthe IPaddress http://192.168.1.254/ inthe web browser.
- You willaccess tothe routerand getthe Loginpage.

- Pleaseinputthe username: “guest”and password: “guest”.Then click “Login”button.
- You alsocan loginasan administratorbyinputthe username: “admin”and password: “admin”.
Then click “Login”button.
- Aftergetinthe web page, itishighlyrecommended tochange Usernameand Password.You can
change yourusername(login)nameand passwordinSystemmanagement->UserManagement
page.Afteryou finishthe Settings, pleaseclick the Save button.
- Configureallsettingsindifferent web pagesforyourrouter.
- Afterconfiguration,please “Save”toupdatethe settingsinthe router.
- By rebootfunction you can restartthe router.Ifyou want torestartthe ATA, you can just clickthe
System Restart button,then the ATAwillreboot automatically.

Beforeyou placeacall,you must setup SIPconfiguration inTelephonySetting page. Port1isforFXS1,
port2isforFXS2.
- You must givenumber, LoginID, Password
- Check ProxyEnableboxtoenableSIPproxy functionand then giveproxyaddress inProxy Addr
field.
- Check Outbound ProxyEnableboxtoenableoutboundproxyfunction and then giveoutbound proxy
addressinOutbound ProxyAddrfield.
- Afterconfiguration,please “Apply”toupdatethe settingsinthe router.
7HowtoOperate theDevice
Place acall
- Step 1.Pick up handset; you canget adial tone.
- Step 2. Inputthe numberyou want tocall,and press “#”tocallout
Answering acall
- Step 1. If you hearthe Ringing, youcan pick up the handset toreceivethe call.
- Step 2. Afteryou finishthe conversation then hang-up the handset todisconnect thecall.
Redial
- Step 1. Pick up the handset, the press”*14”tocallthe last numberyou dialed
CallReturn
Step 1. Pickup the handset, thepress”*69”tocallthe last numbercalled you
Placing asecond callduringacall
Whenyouaretalking tosomeone,you mayneed tocall asecond peoplewithout hangingup the firstone.
Toachievethispurposeyou can followthe stepsbelow:

- Step 1. Hookflashthephone, thenyou can hearthe dial tone, dial the numbersyouwant tocall
and
press “#”tocallout.
- Step2. Ifyou hearbusytone afterhookingflashthe phone,itmeansyou can’tdial asecond callnow.
You just need tohookdownthe phone.
- Step 3. If you hearring tone afterhooking downthe phone, pickup ittoreleaseacall, oryou can
ignoreit.Itwillautomaticallystop when the remotehang up thiscall.
Answer asecondcallduringacall
Whenyou aretalking tosomeone, you mayhearcallwaiting tone.Thismeansasecond calliscoming.
You have3different choicesasbelow:
[Hang up thecurrentlinetoaccepttheincomingline]
- Hookdownthe phone tohang up the currentline.
- Then you hearthe ring tone.
- Hookoffthe phone toanswerthe second call.
[Hold thecurrentlinetoaccepttheincomingline]
- Hookflash(whichmeansquicklyhookdownand then hookoffthe phone)the phone, and then you
can accept the second calland holdthefirst call.The one who washeldwillhearnothing fromyou.
- Toswitchbetween the twocalls, you just need tohookflashthe phone.
- Toend the second callorthe second calling partyhangsup, you just need tohang up thephone.
- Then you willhearthe phone isringing,pickthephone tocontinue the first call.
[Ignore thesecondcall]
- Toignorethe second call, you just need todonothing tocontinue the firstcall.
Make atransfer
Whenyou aretalking toone person and holding anotherperson, you maywant themtotalktoeachother
without yourattending. Pleasefollowthe stepsbelow:
- Step 1. Callfirst person and talkwithhim/her.
- Step 2. Holdthe call byhookflashand dial thesecond person’sphone numberand press “#”tocall
out.
- Step 3. Afterthe second person pick up the phone, youcan just press “#”totransfer. Theycan talk
toeachother.
Make a3-way conference
- Callthe first person you want toinvitetothe conference.
- Afterhe/she pickup the phone, holdthe call byhookflash.
- Dial the second person’sphone numberyou want toinvitetothe conference.
- Afterthe second personpick up the phone, you press”*”tomakeyou 3talktoeachother.

8Wirelessfunction
ConnecttoWiFiRouter use wireless connection
- Step 1. Makesurewireless function of yourPCornotebookhasbeenenabled.
- Step 2. Searchwireless connection,if you find awirelessconnection named “2/1-port
WiFi-Router”; doubleclicktoconnecttorouter.
- Step 3. If the wireless icon inthe statusbarshowsconnecting ok,yourPCornotebookhasalready
connected tothe WiFiRouter.
