Programming Unit

General Information
TFCM-801 programming module is developed to read
and write the parameters of the terminal units such as
TFP-12XX series addressable detector, input-output
modules.
User friendly menu interface and controls provide easy
to use.
Usage areas:
•Read existing addresses of the end units and
change their addresses
•Read versions of end points.
Technical information

Weight : 95,2 gr (without battery)
Battery Assembly
A 9V battery is required for operation of the
programming module (provided with the product). The
battery supplied for the first time must be installed
correctly. Steps for installing the battery:
1) Remove the battery case cover at the back of
the box.
2) Connect connector correctly
3) Install in the battery socket
4) Close the cover
After this, the programming module is available.
DEVICE PROPERTIES
Teknim analog analogue addressable systems endpoints have a pair of 4-wire female to 8-pin connectors for
control via the programming module. The data exchange of the endpoint is done via this connector.
Caution: Do not leave the endpoints plugged
into the programming module, which will cause
the battery to run out quickly.

Work
When the hand module is off, it is opened by pressing the
BACK key.
To keep battery consumption at a low level, the programming
module is turned off if there is no operation within 30 seconds
during operation. During address writing, the last value
written on the display is stored in memory to be displayed
again when the hand module is turned on.
Address Processing
To change the address of the endpoint:
•Install the programming module properly.
•Press the BACK key to Turn on the programming
module
•The display should show "1 ADDR"
•Press the ENTER key to switch to the sub-menu (you
must type "SET" in the display)
•Press the ENTER key to switch to the sub-menu
("ADDR <last value>" should be displayed on the
screen)
•Set the new address value with the DOWN or UP keys
("ADDR <desired value>" should be displayed on the
screen)
•Press ENTER to start address writing ("SET" on the
screen, it must be acknowledged again)
•Confirm the operation by pressing ENTER button again
within 2 seconds (Write "WAIT" on the screen)
•When "WAIT" is changed, the result is indicated on the
screen for 2 seconds. Meaning of the result screen:
o"SET-OK": Address change succeeded
o"FAULT": Address change failed
To read the address of the endpoint:
•Install the programming module properly.
•Press the BACK key to Turn on the programming
module
•The display should show "1 ADDR"
•Press the ENTER key to switch to the sub-menu (you
must type "SET" in the display)
•Press the DOWN key to access the "GET" menu
•Press the ENTER key to switch to the sub-menu (you
should type "ADDR ---" in the display)
•Press the ENTER key to read the address of the
terminal ("ADDR <terminal address>" on the screen)
oNOTE: The meaning of "ADDR ---" does not change
with the terminal
•Press ENTER again to read the address value again.
•The UP key should be pressed to erase the read value
from the screen.
Version Operations
To read the hardware and software version information of the
endpoint:
•Install the programming module properly.
•Press the BACK key to Turn on the programming
module
•Press the DOWN key to access the "1 VERS" menu
•Press the ENTER key to switch to the sub-menu (you
should type "GET" on the screen)
•Press the ENTER key to switch to the sub-menu (you
should type "VERS ---" on the screen)
•Press the ENTER key to read the address of the
terminal ("V <version info>" on the screen)
oNOTE: The meaning of "VERS ---" does not change
with the terminal
•The INPUT key must be pressed again to read the
version value.
•Press the UP key to delete the read value from the
screen.
CONDITIONS
Do not energize the device above or below the given limits of
extreme hot or cold conditions,
Temperature: Between -10C and +85C
Relative Moisture: Non-condensing Between %0 and %95
SERVICE
Do not try to fix the device on your own. Removal of cover
may end up with electricity shock.
In case of any defect or malfunction, contact with your dealer
or with authorized service. All the technical interventions have
to be done by technicians of company.
MALFUNCTIONS THAT REQUIRE TECHNICAL SERVICE
In case of any malfunction or below conditions contact with
your authorized service,
✓When Mains cable or the plug is harmed,
✓Contact of device with a fluid,
✓Exposure of rain and water,
✓Fell down of device or harmed outer cover,
✓Serious performance fall on the device,
✓Depending on the instructions stated in manual, if your
device not working properly, further usage or possible wrong
usage may cause other malfunctions. Contact with your
authorized service in such terms.

MAINTENANCE ON YOUR OWN
Do not try to fix the device on your own. Removal of cover
may end up with electricity shock.
In case of any defect or malfunction, contact with your dealer
or with authorized service. All the technical interventions have
to be done by technicians of company. Device must be
cleaned up with a dry fabric. No-chemicals are allowed for
cleaning
TRANSPORTATION
Device must be carefully transported avoiding all physical
bump, stroke and possible fluid entry. Malfunctions that
caused by improper transportation is not under warranty.
HUMAN AND NATURE CONDITION
This device contains no chemical or biological elements that
could harm human condition
