DO’S AND DONT’S OF TOOL STORAGE
Keep it covered
oUse the Teng Tools tool box covers or another suitable
cover to protect the tool boxes when they are not being
used.
Make it secure
oIf you are building a stack system use the Teng Tools
TCF01 and TCF02 fixing brackets and fixings provided to
secure each component to the stack
Water and chemical damage
oIf any liquid spills on to the paint surface inside or outside
the tool box clean it off immediately to protect the paint
surface
Watch your weight
oSpread the weight of tools between the drawers and put
the heavier tools in the lower drawers
Don’t overload your tool box
oNever overfill drawers or put too much weight in one
drawer
Do not lift more than you should
oFollow established rules and guidelines – if it is more than
25 kilos you should not lift it on your own
Don’t climb on the tool boxes
oTool boxes are for storing tools do not use them as a
ladder
One drawer at a time
oBe aware of the balance of your tool box, opening more
than one drawer at a time can cause it to tip over
Do not shake the tool boxes about
oIf the tool box has to be transported in a vehicle it should
be fixed down firmly as the drawers, wheels and welding
points can all be damaged by being bounced round
oWhen wheeling over an uneven surface be careful as this
can also lead to damage particularly if the tool box is
heavily loaded.

1.PULL THE DRAWER TO THE OPEN POSITION
2.MAKE SURE THE SWITCH IS IN THE RIGHT POSITION
AND THE NUMBER IS ON 010(SAME AS LEFT ILLUSTRATION)
3.PUSH UP THE SWITCH
4.SET A NEW NUMBER AND SAVE THIS FOR THE FUTURE.
5.PUSH DOWN THE SWITCH
6.CLOSE THE DRAWERS
7.SWITCH THE NUMBER TO LOCK THE DRAWERS
