UNPACKING
In the box you should nd the appliance and
accessories - remove all the packing from
these and retain the packaging. If you dispose
of it, please do so according to any recycling
regulations.
If items are missing or damaged, contact your
nearestTesco store for assistance.

CHARGING
Your shaver contains re-chargeable batteries,
so may be used cordless for approximately
40-45 minutes when the batteries are fully
charged.
Ensure that the shaver is switched o.1.
Connect thechargingcabletothecharging2.
inlet, located on the bottom of the shaver.
Plug the charging cable into a mains3.
outlet.
The charging indicator will light.4.
Leave the shaver connected until fully5.
charged (approximately 8 hours if the
batteries were fully discharged).
Once the shaver is charged, disconnect the6.
cable from the mains, then the shaver.
After charging, store the charging cable in7.
a safe place.
BATTERY CARE
To ensure maximum life from the batteries
in your rechargeable shaver, follow these
guidelines:
Do not recharge the shaver between•
sessions. Wait until the batteries are
exhausted before recharging.
Discharge the batteries completely once•
a year (switch on and run until the shaver
stops).
If the shaver hasn’t been used for a long•
period of time, discharge the batteries
completely, then fully charge them for 12
hours before use.
Never charge the shaver for more than 24•
hours.
Do not use the shaver while charging.•
Neverrechargethe shaverinatemperature•
below 0°C.
Avoid recharging the shaver in direct•
sunlight or near a radiating heat source.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
On/O switch
To switch the shaver on:
Slide the switch up to the ON position.•
To switch the shaver o:
Slide the switch down to the OFF position.•
Shaving the face and beard
Remove the clear protective cover from1.
the top of the shaver.
Switch the shaver on.2.
Hold the shaver so that the shaving head3.
is placed at against your skin. Begin
shaving by moving the shaver in the
opposite direction to beard growth.
Stretch your skin with your free hand for a4.
closer shave.
NOTE: You can gently increase the
amount of pressure as your skin becomes
accustomed to the shaver. Applying excess
pressure will not give a closer shave and
may damage the shaver.
Switch o after use.5.
To prevent damage to the rotary cutter6.
blades, always replace the protective cover
when you have nished shaving.
Using the sideburn/hair trimmer
Slide the sideburn trimmer control1.
downwards to activate the sideburn/hair
trimmer.

OFF
Switch on the shaver.2.
Gently place the trimmer in the area to be3.
trimmed and slowly move the trimmer
away from the hair to trim.
After using the sideburn/hair trimmer,4.
switchotheshaverandpushthetrimmer
arm down to retract the trimmer.

Dismantling the shaver head:
You can dismantle the shaver head for more
thorough cleaning.
With the shaver head open -
Turn the small, black locknut anti-•
clockwise (highlighted in the picture).
CARE AND CLEANING
NOTE: Switch o and disconnect the charging
cable before cleaning.
Lift the foil assembly fully.2.
Clean inside the shaver head and housing3.
with the brush (supplied) to remove the
shaving bristles.
Press the head back into place to close it.4.
Release button
SHAVER HEAD
Opening the shaver head:
To open the shaver head, release the foil1.
assembly as shown.
The foil retaining frame can now be•
removed.
Carefully lift out the three foils and blades.•
Brush the foils and blades clean.•
CAUTION:Take care when cleaning the blades
as they are sharp.

DISPOSAL
Before disposing of this appliance, the internal
rechargeable battery must be removed for
separate disposal.
NOTE:This process is not reversible.
Disconnect the appliance from the•
charger.
Switch on the appliance and allow it to•
operate until it stops (battery power is
exhausted).
Switch o the appliance.•
There is a screw at the lower back of the•
housing.
Unscrew it with a Philips screwdriver.•
Open the housing.•
Take out the circuit board and battery.•
Cut o the battery from the circuit board.•
CAUTION: Once the battery has been removed,
take precautions to avoid any contact between
the terminals.
Dispose of the appliance and the battery
separately in accordance with your local
recycling regulations.
Re-assembly:
Re-assembly is the reversal of removal.
Drop the three foils containing the blades•
into the shaver head.
NOTE:The foil has two cut-outs.These must be
correctly aligned with the guides in the shaver
head.
Re-t the foil retaining frame.•
Turn the locknut clockwise to lock the•
frame in place.
Close the shaver head.•
SIDEBURN TRIMMER
To clean the sideburn trimmer, slide the1.
trimmer control downwards to open the
trimmer.
Clean the cutter and the housing with the2.
brush.
MAIN BODY
Wipe the main body with a soft, damp cloth.
DO NOT use any harsh detergents, abrasives,
solvents or cleaners. NEVER immerse in water
to clean.
