• Read and understand this owner’s manual before assembly and use. Learn its application
andlimitationsaswellasthespecicpotentialhazards.Retaintheseinstructionsfor
reference.
• Retainallthepackaginguntilyouaresurethattheproductisoperatingcorrectly.
• Takecarewiththesharpcuttingblades.Itisrecommendedthatglovesarewornwhen
unpacking,assembling,adjustingandmaintainingthelawnmower.
• Thislawnmowerisformowinglawnsonlyandfordomestic,notcommercialuse.
• Neverallowchildrenorpeopleunfamiliarwiththeseinstructionstooperatethemower.
• Inspecttheareawherethelawnmoweristobeusedandremoveallstones,sticks,wires
andotherdebrisorforeignbodies.
• Neverplaceyourhands,ngersorfeetnearthecuttingbladewhenthelawnmoweris
moving.
• DoNOToperatethemowerwhilstbarefootorwearingsandals.
• Walkslowlyduringuse–doNOTrun.
• DoNOTusewhenthegrassiswetenoughtobeslippery.
• Neverintentionallystrikeorramtrees,fencesetcasthiscancauseinjuryand/ordamageto
the lawnmower.
• DoNOTmowsteepslopesandalsobesureofyourfooting.

YouwillneedaPhillipsscrewdriveranda10mmspanner.
Takecarewhenttingthelowerhandlesbecauseoftheirproximitytothe
cylinderblade.Werecommendtheuseofgloves.
• Alignthetwoholesonbothoftheupperhandlewiththoseonthe
handleextensions,Securethemusingthewignutsandscrewsprovided.
Repeat the process with the lower handle.
• Attachtheassembledhandlewithonelowerhandle,bylocatingontothe
pegswithinthemainbodyrecessedslotsoneachsideofthemower.
Repeat the process with the other lower handle.
Toassemblethegrassbag:-
•Insertthetwosideframesseparatelyintotheholesoftheclip
on the front piece.
• Insertthesinglewireintotheholesatthebackofthesideframe.
• Slipthefabricbagontothewireframeandclipsnaptheplastic
barsaroundtheedgeoftheframe.
• Attachthegrassbagbymeansofthehooksonthebagslotinto
the sideplate.

ADJUSTING THE BOTTOM (FIXED) BLADE
Thisoperationneedstobedonewhilstcarefullyturningthecylinderblade.
Werecommendtheuseofgloves.
• Thebottomxedblademustbesetcorrectlyinorderforthelawnmowerto
workefciently.Usingthespannersupplied,slackenoffthetwotopnutson
eachsideofthesidecasing.Carefullytightenthetwoadjustingknobs(A)
byturningthemslowlyinaclockwisedirection.
• Whenthecylinderbladejustmakescontactwiththebottomblade,
turntheknobsslightlyinananti-clockwisedirectionuntilthecylinder
bladeturnswithouttouchingthebottomblade.Tightenupthenutson
thesidecasing.
ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT
• Themowercanbesetattocutatanyheightbetweeen13mmand23.5mm.
Adjusttheheightofcutbylooseningthetwoknobsonthesideofthe
cuttingheightrollerandmovingtherollerupanddowntotherequiredheight.
• Remembertoadjustbothsidesoftherollerequallyotherwisethe
lawnmowerwillnotgiveanevencuttingnish.
ADJUSTING THE DELIVERY PLATE
Ifthegrassisnotbeingthrownintothebagsatisfactorily,thenthedeliveryplate
canbeadjusted.
• Slackenthetwoscrews(A)
• Underneaththiscoveryouwillseethedeliveryplatewithprojectionsat
eitherside.Movetheseprojectionsbackwardsorforwardsuntilbetterresults
areachieved.Thedeliveryplatemustnottouchthecuttingcylinder.
• Re-tightenthescrewsonthecover.
ADJUSTING THE CHAIN
•Toachievethecorrectchaintension,rstremovethechaincasecover.
• Slackenthenut(A)whichholdsthechainskate–youwillneeda13mm
spanner.
• Liftthemowerclearofthegroundandrotatetherearrollerclockwiseone
completerevolution.Noteatwhatpointthechaincausesthechain
skate/tensioner(B)torisetoitspeakand,atthepoint,retightenthenut.

MAINTENANCE
After each use remove all grass clippings that may have collected in and around the wheels, roller and
blades.
We recommend a regular application of oil or lubricant (i.e. WD-40). This should be applied to all cutting
surfaces, the cutting reel axle shaft and roller and will keep your lawnmower in tip-top condition.
