Step 1
Insert the wooden pins (I) into both ends of the bottom
rails (G). Attach these to the first end panel (A). Fix both
bottom rails with a metal bolt (H).

Step 2
Insert the wooden pins into both ends of the top rails
(F). Then attach the top rails to the first end panel (A)
with a metal bolt (H).

Step 3
Carefully insert the shelf plate (B) by sliding it gently along
the grooves in the bassinet bottom side rails.

Step 4
Unfold the fabric bassinet insert and slide the top side
rails through the insert’s top rail pockets.

Step 5
Fix the second end panel (A) and screw in the remaining
bolts (H). Attach the ends of the fabric to the end panels
using the hook & loop strip.

Step 6
Place the bassinet base (C) in to the bottom of the fabric
bassinet insert. Place the mattress (D) on top of the base.
Mattress should be turned and aired regularly.

Please read our assembly instructions in detail to ensure the safety
features of the Frank Bassinet are not compromised.
• Maximum recommended weight of child: 9kg.
• This bassinet has been tested to EN 1130:2019/AC:2020
• DO NOT use bassinet if any parts are missing, damaged, torn or broken.
Contact The Sleep Store for replacements parts and instructional literature
if needed.
• DO NOT substitute parts. Only use replacement parts supplied or
approved by The Sleep Store.
• Ensure that the product is used on a horizontal, level floor.
• DO NOT use in an inclined position.
• DO NOT move the bassinet while the baby is inside.
• Young children should not be allowed to play unsupervised in the vicinity
of the bassinet.
• DO NOT allow pets or other children in or near the product.
• Only use the mattress specifically recommended for this product by
The Sleep Store.

• The recommended mattress for this product is The Sleep Store Frank
Bassinet Mattress supplied with this bassinet and which has been tested for
firmness to AS/NZS 8811.1:2013.
• Using a mattress other than the one provided could cause an uneven base
and/or an entrapment hazard.
• Maximum mattress thickness should not exceed 35mm.
• DO NOT attach anything to the product which may aect its stability.
• DO NOT place the product near an open fire or other sources of strong heat.
• No objects or toys are to be left in the bassinet as they could increase the
risk of suocation or strangulation.
• All assembly fittings should always be tightened properly and care should be
taken that no screws are loose, because a child could trap parts of the body
or clothing (e.g. strings, necklaces, ribbons for babies dummies), which could
pose a risk of suocation and strangulation.
• Fabric insert and mattress cover can be cleaned following the instructions on
the care labels
• Dispose of all packaging safely before use and away from children.
• The bassinet should be locked in the fixed position when the child is left
unattended.

Maintenance & Care
All assembly fittings should be tightened properly, checked
regularly and re-tightened as necessary. See the next page for
further safety instructions and information.
Please ensure the bassinet mattress and base board are turned
and aired regularly. We recommend the use of a waterproof,
breathable mattress protector. The wooden frame and base board
can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth and drying with a soft
clean cloth.

Do not use the abrasives, bleach, alcohol or ammonia based
household polishes or cleaning products.
The fabric insert can be spot cleaned, or hand washed in cold
water less than 40°C. Squeeze gently by hand. Do not rub,
knead or twist. No hot iron or tumble dry.
If part of the Frank Bassinet becomes damaged please contact
us for the correct replacement part.
