carefully before using the boots for the first time.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This device is not suitable for people (including
children) of reduced physical, sensory or
intellectual capacity or for use by inexperienced
and/or unknowledgeable people unless they
are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or who has provided them with
instructions on how to use it.
• Supervise children to ensure they do not play
with the device.
• If you are unable to feel hot or cold temperatures
accurately (diabetic or disabled users, etc.),
consult your doctor before using the device.
• Check regularly that no redness appears on
your fingers. There is a risk of burns in the case
of exposure to excessive heat for a prolonged
period. Consequently, children must only
use this device under the supervision of a
responsible adult.
• This device must not be used to warm animals.
• The pockets protect thebatteries from splashes.
Once attached to the boots, the batteries must
remain connected to the connection cords
whenever the boots are worn outside, firstly
to prevent moisture and dirt from entering
the connection point and power supply socket
and secondly to prevent the battery case from
being opened accidentally.
• Use only the Therm-ic USB charger supplied
to charge the batteries.
• Do not wear the boots while the batteries are
charging.
• Do not insert metal or other objects into the
connectors or the USB charger as this may
damage the device.

• If you discover that the connection cords,
batteries or other parts of the boot are
damaged, the heating function must not
be used. After removal of the batteries,
the boots can be used as an ordinary boots.
• Never attempt to remove the protective film
enclosing the batteries! There is a danger
of explosion if the lithium-ion batteries are
handled inappropriately.
• Batteries which have damaged protective
films must not be used and must be disposed
of as soon as possible.
• Do not modify this device and only use it for
its intended purpose. The parts of the device
and its connection cords should be repaired
by the manufacturer only.
• If you have questions or if there are any
problems with the device, please contact your
retailer or the manufacturer.
• Dispose of used batteries as required by
the regulations in your area.
• Do not throw batteries into a fire–risk of explosion!
• The boots must never be machine washed or
hand washed.
• The drying temperature must not exceed
40°C / 104°F. Never dry the Boot Integration
System in a tumble dryer or on a radiator.

FIRST USE AND CHARGING THE BATTERIES
The batteries must be charged before first use.
Please ensure that the Therm-ic Boot Integration
System are switched OFF while charging.
1. Plug in the USB cable. The charge indicator
light (2.1) will light up green. Next, plug the
two boot connectors (1.3) into the charger
(2.2). Charging will start automatically and
the charge indicator light (2.1) turns red and
remains on during charging.
2. When the batteries are fully charged,
charging will stop automatically and the
LEDs in the charge indicator light (2.1) will
turn green again.
3. Unplug the two Boot Integration System
connectors from the USB charger.
Charging time is approximately 4-6hours.
Note that at half time of the charging time

mentioned above, the battery is already
charged at around 75% of its maximum
capacity (fast charging process). Lab test done
using Therm-ic USB wall plug universal charger
(optional).
Important advice:
• Recharge the batteries after each use to keep
them in good condition and to ensure the
Therm-ic Boot Integration System is always
ready for use.
• Each battery is made up of lithium-ion cells.
It can be recharged in any state of charge.
Consequently, it is not necessary to discharge
the batteries completely before recharging.
Important:
Never try to open a battery pack!
There is a risk of explosion if the lithium-ion
batteries are handled inappropriately.
There is also a risk of damaging the electronic
components of the Boot Integration System.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DESCRIPTION
OF FUNCTIONS
The Therm-ic Boot Integration System has four
modes: OFF and LEVELS 1, 2 and 3.
These modes are indicated by a heating speed
indicator light (1.1).
The number of LED flashes displayed indicates
the heating level selected. The heating setting
of the Therm-ic Boot Integration System can
be set to 3 dierent levels (level1, level2 and
level3) using the control zone, which consists
of a single button (1.2).
The Therm-ic Boot Integration System is o when
the LED heating level indicator light is not lit.
