Introduction
Thinka connects your KNX system with the world of Apple,
Amazon, and Google. This opens up exciting possibilities such as
controlling your home with your smartphone or voice, scenes,
remote control, family sharing, and smart routines.
To guarantee security and privacy, Thinka is installed inside
your home and is never exposed over the internet. Thinka only
communicates to the internet for software updates and when
using Amazon Alexa or Google Home.

Operating Thinka
Reset
Status
At power up the Thinka status LED will be
solid red briefly. Then your Thinka will look
for updates and the light starts flashing
red. When finished starting the light will
be green. Sometimes Thinka will restart
after receiving an update. When Thinka
flashes green, it is accessible but needs
your attention.
Press and hold this button until the light
flashes orange, release it and press shortly
to restart.

or the back of this manual to add it

Enable Amazon Echo
Go to the support page on your
Thinka setup interface.
Enable Amazon Echo
Click the pair button
Copy or write down the generated
token and enable the Thinka Skill
as described on the next page

Finally you’ll need to start device discovery.
You do this by saying, "Alexa, discover devices"
or by choosing Discover devices on the Alexa
website.
Thats it. You’re now able to control your devices
with Amazon Echo.
Go to alexa.amazon.com.
Select Skills in the left menu.
Search for Thinka and enable the skill.
You will be asked to enter or paste the
token from the previous step.

Thinka setup interface.

Click the pair button
Copy or write down the generated
token and enable the Thinka Action
as described on the next page

Next choose "Set up device" and choose "Works with Google".
Select “Thinka for KNX” in the list of found devices.
On your smart phone start the Google Home App.
Create a Home, and Click on add.
Next you will use the generated token to pair with Google Home.
Enter your pairing token
ALLOW
CONNECT TO GOOGLE
Thats it. You’re now able to control your devices
with Google Home.
