Quick start guide
This quick start guide contains important information on the safe operation of the
product. Read and follow the safety advice and instructions given. Retain the quick
start guide for future reference. If you pass the product on to others please include this
quick start guide.
Safety instructions
Intended use
This device is intended to be used as a LED eect light. Any other use or use under
other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal
injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages resulting from
improper use.
Danger for children
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are
not within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure
that children do not detach any small parts from the product. They could
swallow the pieces and choke!
Risk of epileptic shock
Strobe lighting can trigger seizures in photosensitive epilepsy. Sensitive
persons must avoid looking at strobe lights.
Eye damage caused by high light intensity
Never look directly into the light source.
Where to use the product
Never use the product
• in conditions of extreme temperature or humidity
• in extremely dusty or dirty areas
• at locations where the unit can become wet
General handling
• To prevent damage, never use force when handling the product.
• Never immerse the product in water. Just wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Do not use
liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or ammable cleaning agents.
Incorrect handling of lithium batteries can result in injury
• In the event of a short circuit, overheating or mechanical damage, lithium batteries
can cause severe injuries.
• When handled correctly and appropriately lithium batteries pose no risk.
• Store lithium batteries in a cool, dry place, ideally in the original packaging.
• Store lithium batteries away from heat sources (e.g. radiators or sunlight). Lithium
batteries are hermetically sealed. Never attempt to open a lithium battery.
• If the battery housing is damaged small amounts of the electrolyte may leak out. If
this should happen, seal the lithium battery in airtight packaging and wipe up the
traces of electrolyte using absorbent paper towels. You must wear protective rub-
ber gloves when doing so. Clean your hands and the aected surface thoroughly
with cold water.
• Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable lithium batteries.When charging lith-
ium batteries you must use a suitable charging device intended for the purpose.
• Before disposing of the device remove the lithium batteries. Protect used lithium
batteries against potential short circuits, e.g. by covering the poles with adhesive
tape.
• Only use powder extinguishers or other suitable extinguishing agents to extin-
guish a burning lithium battery.
Possible damage due to incorrect storage
• Deep discharge can cause batteries to become permanently damaged or lose
some of their capacity.
• Before prolonged rest periods, charge the batteries to around 50% of their ca-
pacity and then switch the equipment o. Store the equipment at a temperature
between 10°C and 32°C in as dry an environment as possible. During extended
storage periods, charge the batteries to 50% approximately every three months.
• Only fully charge the batteries at room temperature just before use.

For the transport and protective packaging, environmentally friendly materials
have been chosen that can be supplied to normal recycling. Ensure that plastic
bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of. Do not just dispose of these ma-
terials with your normal household waste, but make sure that they are collected
for recycling. Please follow the notes and markings on the packaging.
This product is subject to the European Waste Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment Directive (WEEE) in its currently valid version. Do not dispose of your old
device with your normal household waste. Dispose of this product through an
approved waste disposal rm or through your local waste facility. Comply with
the rules and regulations that apply in your country. If in doubt, consult your
local waste disposal facility.
Batteries must not be thrown away or incinerated; they must be disposed of in
accordance with local regulations for the disposal of hazardous waste. Use the
existing collection points for this.
Only dispose of lithium batteries when they are discharged. Remove replacea-
ble lithium batteries from the device before disposal. Protect used lithium bat-
teries against short circuits, for example by covering the poles with adhesive
tape. Permanently built-in lithium batteries must be disposed of together with
the device. Please inquire about an appropriate collection point.

Using the product
1. First the built-in battery has to be charged. To do this, use the supplied USB cable
to connect the device via its USB-C port oto a suitable voltage source (5V /
2A, not supplied). During charging, the bars of the battery capacity display light
up blue in the display i. When all bars are lit, the built-in battery is fully charged.
Then disconnect the voltage source from the device.
2. Place the device with its base won the hot shoe of the camera to be used.
Hand-tighten the nut on the device base clockwise to lock the device on the hot
shoe. Alternatively, you can attach the device to a metal surface using the built-
in magnet u.
3. Press and hold the switch yfor 3 seconds to turn on the device.
4. Set the desired colour temperature between 2500 K and 9000 K in the white
light mode (MODE1) with the controller e. The display shows:

5. In white light mode (MODE1), press the yswitch to activate RGB mode.
6. In RGB mode (MODE2), use the control eto set the desired colour value contin-
uously. The display shows:

7. In RGB mode (MODE2), press the switch yto activate scene mode.
8. In scene mode (SCENE1), use the control eto set one of 30 available scenes. The
display shows:

9. Use the brightness controller tto set the required lighting intensity in the
respective mode.
10. Observe the battery capacity display to estimate the remaining operating time.
If no bars are displayed, the built-in battery must be charged using a suitable
voltage source.
11. Press and hold the switch yfor 3 seconds to switch o the device. The display
then goes out.
12. You can use the accessory shoes rto attach additional eect lights or similar
compatible devices. When mounting the device via the magnet, however, make
sure that the total weight does not exceed the adhesive force of the magnet,
otherwise the construction will fall down and may be damaged.
