6. Notes and recommendations
•Patients with reduced mobility require help from a third person.
•Do not exceed maximum capacity of the toilet safety rail (100 kg).
•Do not stand on the toilet rail.
•Do not lean on the rail for purposes other than standing up and sitting down.
•Do not attach any objects to the rail as it may cause an accident.
•Only one person can use the rail during physiological and hygienic activities.
•Remove all potential obstacles in the bathroom and make sure that the floor is flat.
Slippery floor should be secured with e.g. anti-slip mats.
•The rail is designed to be used only on flat surfaces.
•Due to the risk of falling, it is unacceptable to use the toilet rail on wet, greasy, and
strongly sandy surfaces as they do not provide firm support.
•Do not make any repairs or modifications by yourself. Any repairs should be done by
qualified personnel of the manufacturer.
•Do not store the toilet safety rail in rooms with very high humidity (bath-houses,
laundries, etc.), in the temperature below zero and in the open air.

7. Maintenance
Reviews
At least once every three months make visual inspection of all the joining elements (clamps,
hinges) including:
•the condition of locking pins
•stability and look of the frame
Cleaning
Control the technical condition of the toilet safety rail regularly:
•Clean the rail regularly using only water and mild detergents. Dry thoroughly.
