SAFETY GUIDELINES
Work Area Safety
- Ensure that your work area is kept well
lit and clean.Lack of visibility and clutter
greatly increase the risk of accident.
- Keep bystanders and children clear
when operating a power tool or
machine. They can cause distraction or risk
injury themselves.
- Ensure you are not operating the
power tool or machinery in the
presence of ammable gases, dust,
liquids, or anything that creates an
explosive atmosphere. Power tools and
machinery can create sparks which can
lead to ignition in these environments.
Personal Safety
- Always wear personal protective
equipment. Eye protection, ear protection,
dust masks, and other protective
equipment will help to reduce the risk of
personal injury.
- Dress appropriately. DO NOT wear or
loose clothing that can get caught in
moving parts. Keep hair, loose clothing,
jewelery, and anything else that could be

Fuel & Engine Safety
Engine exhaust contains carbon
monoxide, a colorless, odorless, poison
gas. Breathing carbon monoxide will
cause nausea, dizziness, fainting or death.
If you start to feel dizzy or weak, get fresh
air immediately.
Operate the machinery outdoors only
in a well-ventilated area and point the
exhaust away from you.
WARNING
- DO NOT operate the machine inside any
building, including garages, basements,
crawlspaces and sheds, enclosure, or
compartment, including the storage
compartment of a recreational vehicle.
- DO NOT allow exhaust fumes to enter a
conned area through windows, doors,
vents, or other openings.
- NEVER use inside a home or garage, EVEN
IF doors and windows are open. ONLY
use OUTSIDE and far away from windows,
doors, and vents.
WARNING
Using an engine indoors CAN KILL YOU
IN MINUTES. Engine exhaust contains
carbon monoxide. This is a poison you
cannot see or smell.
DANGER
GASOLINE AND GASOLINE VAPORS
ARE HIGHLY FLAMMABLE AND
EXPLOSIVE. Fire or explosion can
cause severe burns or death.
Gasoline & Vapors
- Gasoline is highly ammable and
explosive.
- Gasoline can cause a re or explosion if
ignited.
- Gasoline is a liquid fuel, but its vapors can
ignite.
- Gasoline is a skin irritant and needs to be
cleaned up immediately if spilled on skin or
clothes.
- Gasoline has a distinctive odor; this will
help detect potential leaks quickly.
- In any petroleum gas re, ames should
not be extinguished unless by doing so
the fuel supply valve can be turned OFF.
This is because if a re is extinguished and
a supply of fuel is not turned OFF, then an
explosion hazard could be created.
- Never ll gas tank to capacity as gasoline
needs room to expand if temperature rises.

When Adding or Removing
Gasoline
- DO NOT light or smoke cigarettes.
- Turn the engine o and let it cool for at
least two minutes before removing the
gasoline cap. Loosen the cap slowly to
relieve pressure in the tank.
- Only ll or drain gasoline outdoors in a
well-ventilated area.
- DO NOT pump gasoline directly into the
engine at the gas station. Use an approved
container to transfer fuel to the engine.
- DO NOT overll the gasoline tank.
- Always keep gasoline away from sparks,
open ames, pilot lights, heat, and other
sources of ignition.
When Starting the Engine
- DO NOT attempt to start a damaged
engine.
- Make certain that the gasoline cap, air
lter, spark plug, fuel lines, and exhaust
system are properly in place.
- Allow spilled gasoline to evaporate fully
before attempting to start the engine.
- Make certain that the water pump is
resting rmly on level ground.
Spark from a removed spark plug wire can
result in re or electrical shock.
Specic Safety
- Always feed from the side.
- It is better to have a second trained
operator within reach of the machine.
- Maintain strict discipline at all times and
service the machine at specied periods.
- Note the direction of the discharge chute,
and if necessary, the wind direction. Ensure
that debris are not blowing in a direction
that will cause disruption.
- Do not put any part of your body into the
in-feed chute while the machine is running.
- Do not operate inside a building or
conned space and do not climb on the
in-feed chute.
- Keep in mind that the operator or user
is responsible for accidents or hazards
occurring to other people, their property,
and themselves.
- Always wear protective goggles or safety
glasses with side shields while using the
wood chipper to protect your eyes from
possible thrown debris.
- We recommend wearing gloves while
using the wood chipper. Be sure your
gloves t properly and do not have loose
cus or drawstrings.
- Wear shoes with non-slip treads when
using your wood chipper. If you have safety
shoes, we recommend wearing them. Do
not use the machine while barefoot or
wearing open sandals.

- Wear long pants while operating the
wood chipper.
- Keep bystanders at least 50 feet away
from your work area at all times. Stop
the engine when another person or pet
approaches.
- Never allow children to operate the wood
chipper.
- Your wood chipper is a powerful tool, not
a plaything. Exercise extreme caution at
all times. The machine is designed to chip
wood. Do not use it for any other purpose.
- Know how to stop the wood chipper
quickly.
- Never operate your unit on a slippery,
wet, muddy, or icy surfaces. Exercise
caution to avoid slipping or falling.
- Never use the machine without ensuring
that all the guards and shields are in place.
- Never, under any condition, remove,
bend, cut, t, weld, or otherwise alter
standard parts on the wood chipper.
This includes all shields and guards.
Modications to your machine could cause
personal injuries and property damaged
and will invalidate your warranty.
- If the machine starts to make an unusual
noise or vibrate, shut the engine down,
disconnect the spark plug wire (keeping
it away from the spark plug to prevent
accidental starting), wait 5 minutes for the
engine to cool, then inspect for damage.
Check damaged parts then clean, repair, or
replace as necessary.
- Never tamper with safety devices. Check
they are operating properly regularly.
- Before performing any maintenance
or inspection procedure, shut down the
engine and remove the spark plug to
prevent accidental starting.
- Never allow people who are unfamiliar
with these instructions to operate the
wood chipper. Only allow responsible
individuals who are responsible with these
rules of safe operation.
- Never overload or attempt to chip
wood beyond the manufacturers
recommendation. Doing so could result in
personal injury or damage to the machine.
- Only operate the machine in daylight.
- Keep all nuts and bolts tight and keep the
equipment in good operating condition.
NOTE
If a situation occurs that is not covered
by this manual, the operate must apply
common sense and operate this wood
chipper in a safe manner. If they feel it
to be unsafe for any reason, then stop
immediately.

ASSEMBLY
Support Legs & Wheel Assembly
Attach the support leg (A) to the main body, using nut M8 (I).
Install the tires (C) to the main body using the wheel axle (B), bolt M8x20 (F), Ø8
spring washer, and Ø8x20x2 at washer (H).
