1.Removethenewbatterypackfromitscarton.
Important:Savethecartonandallpacking
material;ifyoueverneedtoshipthebattery
formaintenance,warranty,orrecycling,this

BatteryLimitedWarranty
TherechargeableLithium-Ionbatteryiswarrantedtobefreefromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipforaperiodof5yearsor1570KilowattHours
(kWh)ofuse,whicheveroccursrst.Overtime,batteryconsumptionreducestheamountofenergycapacity(Watt-hours)availableperfullcharge.
Energyconsumptionvariesduetooperatingcharacteristics,accessories,turf,terrain,adjustments,andtemperature.
Thewarrantyprogramincludestwowarrantycoveragelevels:
Warrantycoverage—Tier1:Fullwarrantycoverageappliestotherst2years(730days)fromproductpurchaseinvoicedateor820kWhofbattery
output,whicheveroccursrst.Ifawarrantablefailureoccursduringtier1,T orowillreplacethebatterywithanewbatteryatnochargetoyou.This
includesdiagnostics,labor,parts,andtransportation.Thereplacementbatteryretainstheremainderoftheoriginalbatterywarranty.
WarrantyCoverage—Tiers2to5:Duringtheremaining3yearsor1570kWh,whicheveroccursrst,aprorated“PartOnly”warrantyapplies.This
coverageexcludesdiagnostics,labor,andtransportation.WarrantycoverageisbasedonthetablebelowusingdaysinserviceandkWh,whicheveris
greater,todeterminethecorrecttier.Ifawarrantablefailureoccursduringtiers2to5,theproratedwarrantyallowsreplacementofadefective
batterywithanewbatterywherethecustomerpaysonlyfortheportionofbatteryenergyconsumed.Anewreplacementbatterypurchasedwitha
customercontributionreceivesfulltier1warrantycoverage.
Tierselectionexamples:
1.Abatteryfailsat1400daysand1150kWh.Daysinservice=tier5because1400daysislessthan1460days.kWh=tier3because1150kWhis
lessthan1200kWh.Selecttier5because5isgreaterthan3(whicheverisgreater).
2.Abatteryfailsat900daysand1300kWh.Daysinservice=tier2because900daysislessthan910days.kWh=tier4because1300kWhisless
than1390kWh.Selecttier4because4isgreaterthan2(whicheverisgreater).
YourT oroDistributorestablishestheretailcostofthebatteryandthiscostincludesthecurrentbatterycost,freight,tax,duty,andhandling.
