1.Removetheinletcoverandtheblowertube.
2.Installthevacuumtubeandbag.

Important:Thisblowerisintendedforoutdoor,
residentialuseonly.Donotuseitindoorsorfor
commercialorindustrialpurposes.Thisapplianceisfor
householduseonly.
ConnectingtoaPowerSource
Toreducetheriskofelectricshock,thisappliancehasapolarized
plug(i.e.,onebladeiswiderthantheother).Useonlyapolarized,
ULlisted(CSAcertiedinCanada)extensioncordrecommended
foroutdooruse.Apolarizedplugwilltinapolarizedcordonly
oneway.Iftheplugdoesnottfullyinthecord,reversethecord.
Ifitstilldoesnott,purchaseapolarizedextensioncord.Ifyou
haveapolarizedextensioncordandtheextensioncordplugdoes
nottfullyintothewallreceptacle,reversetheplug.Ifitstilldoes

itemssuchassticks,rocks,acorns,andpineconeswill
damagetheimpeller.
Important:Donotforcethevacuumtubeintoapile
ofdebrisorholdthetubeuprightwhileforcefeeding
debrisintothetube.Eitheractionmaycloganddamage
theimpeller.Ifthevacuumstartstovibrateormake
abnormalnoise,stopit,
unplug
thecord,andcheckfor
thecause.
EmptyingtheBag
1.Turnoffandunplugthevacuumfromthepowersource.
2.Emptyanydebrisfromthebag.
Donotstoredebrisinthebag.Tocleanthebag,turnit
insideoutandshakeoutanyexcessdebris.Onceayear,
handwashthebaginsoapywaterandallowittoairdry.
DANGER
Normalusageofthebagcausesittowearand
deteriorateovertime.Awornordeterioratedbag
allowssmallobjectstobethrownthroughthebag,
possiblyinjuringtheoperatororbystanders.
Checkthebagfrequently.Ifitiswornor
deteriorated,replaceitwithagenuineToro
vacuumbag.

RemovingCloggedDebris
fromtheImpeller
1.Turnoffandunplugthevacuumfromthepowersourceand
waitforallmovingpartstostop.
2.Removethevacuumtubethenremovethedebrisfromthe
impellerblades.
3.Checktheimpellerforanysignsofdamage.Ifitisdamaged,
contactyourAuthorizedToroDealer.
4.Installthevacuumtube,or,ifyouwanttoswitchtoblower
mode,thebottominletcover.RefertoConvertingfrom
BlowertoVacuumorConvertingfromVacuumtoBlower
formoreinformation.

Storage
Storetheblower/vacuumandextensioncordindoors,inacooldry
location,outofreachofchildrenandanimals.
UsingtheCordWrap
Installthecordwrapasillustratedin(page).Wrapyourextension
cord(cordnotprovided)aroundtheblower,asshown,forease
ofstorage.
Important:Alwaysunplugtheblowerbeforewrapping
thecordorstoringit.
