The TOSHIBA MCU FLASH WRITER contains the following items

2. Software Setup
The following files are included on the CD-ROM
●TOSHIBA Flash Programmer (sw00fn5-zccuvxxx_en.exe)
●Driver installation utility (CP210x_ Drivers.exe)
●TOSHIBA Flash Programmer Manual (Kor,Eng)
2-1. Install Windows Virtual COM Port Driver
To install the Windows Virtual COM Port Driver, run CP210x_Drivers.exe on the CD-ROM
COM Port properties for the device can be selected in the device manager
(COM Port Number, Baud Rate etc.)

2. Makea connection between FlashW riterand PC with USB Cable.
3. Turn on F lash Writ er and Exec ute TOSHIBA FlashProgrammer.
4. If youwant to make a reconnectionbetween two devices,
ClickRECONN ECT Icon onFlash Programmer and Push the RESET SWITCH on Fla sh Writer.

2. Make a co nnection am ong Target Board and Flash W riter and PC w ith USB Cab le.
3. Turn on F lash Writ er and Exec ute TOSHIBA FlashProgrammer.
4. If youwant to make a reconnectionamong three devices,

3. Hardware Setup
The TOSHIBA MCU FLASH WRITER is connected to a PC as shown in Figure 1 and Figure2
1. Connect one end of the USB cable to a USB Port on the PC
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB connector on the TOSHIBA MCU FLASH WRITER
1. Connect one end of the USB cable to a USB Port on the PC
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB connector on the TOSHIBA MCU FLASH WRITER
3. Connect one end of the cable to the connector on the TOSHIBA MCU FLASH WRITER
4. Connect the other end of the cable to the connector on the TARGET BOARD

Refer to Figure 3 for the detail information about the TOSHIBA MCU FLASH WRITER
4-1. Universal Serial Bus (USB) Interface (T1)
A USB Connector is provided to facilitate connections to the USB interface on the FLASH WRITER
See Table 1 for the USB pin definitions.
