Quick Start Guide
Overview
Thank you for choosing TOTMC USB 2.0 Video Capture Adapter.
With this adapter, you can capture the analog video, such as movies, TV shows, or life video, to your computer. You
can also use it to capture the video from XBOX or some cameras. Once the video is captured to your computer, you
can edit the digital video and share them to your iPod, PSP, Mobile Phone or upload them to internet.

Installation CD
Quick Start Steps
Step 1: Install driver and application
1. Insert the Installation CD into the CD/DVD drive of your computer.
2. Open the Window Explorer and select CD/DVD drive.
3. In the Winder Explorer Window of CD/DVD drive, click on the file "autorun.exe".An installation window
will pop up on the screen.
4. Click on "Install Driver" on the installation window.
5. The computer starts to install the hardware driver. Click "Next" and/or "Finish" button following the
direction of installation programmer to complete the driver installation.
6. Plug the USB Video Capture into an USB2.0 port of your computer.A message window "Found the new
hardware" will appear on the screen. Wait until another message widow "Device is now installed and
ready to use” appears on the screen. The automatic hardware driver installation is complete.
7. Later, is necessary, you can verify that the driver is installed correctly by using Device Manager. Please
refer to the User Guide Manual for this verification.
8. Go back to the installation window in step 3 above and click "Install Showbiz 3.5" on the installation window.
9. The computer starts to install the application. Click "Next" and/or "Finish" button following the direction of
installation programmer to complete the application installation. When prompted, please enter your name and
serial number of application software. The serial number is printed on the back of CD envelope.
Step 2: Connect the adapter to the computer and analog video device:
1. Follow the figures in next page to complete the connection. The analog video device can be Video
recorder, DVD player, Video camera, Set-top box, Game player or any device which provides analog video
signal.
2. The figure on the right is for the analog video device with a SCART interface. A SCART Video/Audio adapter is
needed to complete the connection. The switch on the SCART Video/Audio adapter should be set to
"OUTPUT".
3. In case the analog device is too far away from the computer, additional Video,/Audio or S-Video cable is
needed to complete the connection.
