HOW TO JUMP START A VEHICLE
HOW TO JUMP START A VEHICLE
Before jump starting the vehicle, make sure the battery level of the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power
Bank is above 60% (At least 3 indicator lights stay ON).
1. Plug the Ingenious Spark-proof clamps into the jump starter.
2. Connect Red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal first, then connect Black clamp to the negative (-)
battery terminal.
3. Before Jump Start, check the Jump Start Indicator light which located next to the [BOOST] button.
a. If the green indicator light is on, means ready to jump start.
b. If the red indicator light is on, means incorrect connection of the clamp and battery terminal, please double check.
c. If the red indicator light is blinking, means the Over Discharge / Reverse Charge protection is activated or
Low Battery.
d. If no lights on, please press the [BOOST] button by 3 seconds, until the green indicator lights up, means
ready to jump start.
4. Once the vehicle is started up, remove the jumper cable clamps from the vehicle battery terminals.
HOW TO CHARGE THE JOLT JUMP STARTER & FLASH LIGHT & POWER BANK:
Use the supplied 12V DC car adaptor and charge from the socket of the cigarette lighter.
OR
Any AC adapter with 2A USB output connected via the Micro USB cable.

JUMP STARTING WARNINGS!
• Do not touch the RED and BLACK clamps together or connect both to the same piece of metal to prevent
physical injury and damage to the vehicle.
• Do not use the jump start cable for any other purpose other than jump starting the vehicle.
• Always check if the jumper clamps are well connected, check if the jumper cable is well connected. DO NOT
jump start again after 3 attempts. Otherwise, it will damage the host. And check your vehicle if it has other
problems.
• Stay clear of batteries while jump starting.
• Use in a well ventilated area. Shield eyes with safety glasses or goggles.
• Turn off the ignition before making cable connections.
• Never connect to the fuel line, fuel injector or carburetor as the engine ground.
• Keep away from children to avoid any accident.
HOW TO CHARGE MOBILE ELECTRONIC DEVICES:
1. Make sure the electronic device is 5V 2A powered.
2. Connect the supplied USB cable to the USB output port of the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank
and connect to the electronic device for charging. (If the supplied cable is not suitable for your device, you
can select your own appropriate USB charging cable).
3. The USB port will accept standard USB cables included with your electronic device.
4. Press the Power button to start charging the electronic device.
HOW TO TURN ON THE LED FLASHLIGHT:
1. Press the LED Switch to turn on.
2. Half press the Power Button to change different mode. (Low, Medium, High, Strobe, SOS)
HOW TO TO TURN OFF THE JOLT JUMP STARTER & FLASH LIGHT & POWER BANK?
Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank has an auto turn-off feature. Once the connected electronic
device has been fully charged or no load to the charger, the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank will
automatically stop charging and enter into sleeping mode.

What are the features of the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank?
Apart from jump starter function, the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank can be used to charge
portable electronic devices, such as mobile smart phones, tablets, portable gaming system, digital cameras,
camcorders, portable GPS devices, and any other DC 5V 2A powered electronic devices.
It can also jump start a drained car battery with the supplied jump start cables. There’s also an included ultra-
bright LED light that can be used as a torch light.
How does the Ingenious Spark-proof clamps work?
If the green indicator light is on, means ready to jump start; If the red indicator light is on, means incorrect
connection of the clamp and battery terminal, please double check; If no lights on, please press the [BOOST]
button by 3 seconds, until the green indicator lights up, means ready to start; If the red indicator light is
blinking, means the Over Discharge / Reverse Charge protection is activated or Low Battery.
Will reversing polarity connections of the jump start cable damage the vehicle?
Not at all, the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank is very safe with “Reverse Polarity Protection”. If
you accidentally connect the RED and BLACK cable clamps to the wrong polarity terminal and attempt to jump
start the vehicle, the ingenious spark-proof clamp (the red indicator light is on) will cut the power immediately
to prevent injury and avoid damaging the vehicle.
FAQ
What if it doesn’t jump start the vehicle?
If the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank fails to jump start the engine, please wait at least 10
seconds before attempting to try again and please do not continuous cranking for over 5 seconds each time.
If still not succeed after 3 attempts, it may be due to other problems of the vehicle. Do not try to crank the
engine continuously for more than 10 times in a row. It is also highly recommended to replace the vehicle
battery once every 2-3 years.
How many times can the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank jump start a vehicle?
Approximately 10 times with a 100% fully charged battery. Results may vary depending on user usage and
vehicle engine displacement.
How long is the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank standby time?
The standby time of the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank is up to 6 months if it is fully charged.
It is recommended to charge the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank every 3 months to prolong its
service life. Result may vary depending on the owner usage.
How long will it take to fully charge the Jolt Jump Starter & Flash Light & Power Bank to the maximum
battery level?
It takes about 3-4hours through the 5V/2A input port. If the USB adaptor is 5V/1A, it may take 10-12 hours.
(not recommended to use 1A adapter)
How long will it take to fully charge a mobile phone?
It will take about 1 hour.
