O-RING CARE
Inspect O-rings to be sure they are clean and free of dust, debris, hair, sand, etc. before using underwater. Lightly
lubricate O-rings with silicone grease prior to use and maintain lubrication at all times.
RECHEARGEABLE BATTERIES
The burn-time of rechargeable batteries varies. (See chart above for burn times).

Burn-time is affected by:
(A) -Operating temperature –Do not use at highly elevated temperatures for extended periods of time. This light can be
used above and below water.
(B) - Storage temperature –Store in a cool and dry place at room temperature (20-25° Celsius/ 68-77° Fahrenheit).
(C) -Time period the light was out of use. For extended storage, discharge a lithium-ion battery to about 40 percent (or
approximately 1 hour on a fullycharged battery) and store it in a cool, dry place. Warning: always disconnect batteries from
light when storing longer than 30 days.
(D) -Avoid completely discharging lithium ion batteries –Battery experts suggest that after 30 charges, you should allow
lithium-ion batteries to almost completely discharge. Continuous partial discharges create a condition called digital
memory, decreasing the accuracy of the device's power gauge. Let the battery discharge to the cut-off point and then
recharge. The power gauge will be recalibrated. For safety reasons, do not recharge deeply discharged lithium-ion
batteries if they have been stored in that condition for several months.
RECHARGING LITHIUM ION BATTERIES
WARNING: DO NOT RECHARGE THE BATTERY NEAR FLAMMABLE ITEMS AND/OR PRODUCTS.
•Unscrew the light head from the battery pack.
•Plug battery pack into the USB cable and into charging unit.
•A red LED indicates that the torch is charging.
•When charging is complete, the green LED switches on.
•Fully screw the battery pack back onto the light head.
•Charging takes approximately 3-4 hours for full charge with a standard 5V2.1A cell phone adapter.
WARNING: When using rechargeable lithium ion batteries use only the Tovatec battery pack created for this light.
BATTERY DISPOSAL
Rechargeable lithium ion batteries as well as alkaline and rechargeable alkaline batteries must all be disposed of or
recycled in compliance with all applicable laws. Never throw into the trash or fire - batteries may explode in fire. Keep
batteries away from children.
WARNINGS
•Remove the battery pack from light head if the light will not be used for long periods or during transport.
•If you anticipate extended periods of no use, recharge the battery every 3 months.
•Make sure the battery pack is completely tightened to light head before each dive.
•Never point the light directly into eyes.
•Never try to open or disassemble the light head or battery pack.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
•Rinse the outside of the torch in fresh water after every dive. NEVER disassemble the light.
•Periodically check the condition of the O-rings, lubricate on a regular basis and replace as needed.
