Traveler Guitar Locking Tuning Machines are built to be a drop in replacement to the existing tuning machines on existing
Traveler Guitars. Models that are compatible with the Locking Tuning Machines are:
Ultra-Light, Ultra-Light Electric, Ultra-Light Lefty, Original Escape, Speedster Series, Speedster Hot Rod Series, EG-1 Series, and
EG-2 Series guitars.
Traveler Guitar Locking Tuning Machines are not designed to be used with Nylon Stringed or Bass guitars.

LOCKING TUNERS

·!!!!!!!! Remove the E, A and D strings carefully.
·!!!!!!!! Unscrew tuner rails from the body by removing the two screws shown below.
·!!!!!!!! The existing tuning machines are each held in place with a single nut, and their position is aligned with a mounting
pin. Loosen the nut and remove the respective tuning machines from the tuner rail.
·!!!!!!!! On the new locking tuning machines, remove the Locking Head then the Nut from individual locking tuners.
·!!!!!!!!These tuning machines are 3 a side, hence they are different for the bass and treble sides. Be sure to use the correct
tuning machines for the correct side.
·!!!!!!!!Insert locking tuners into rails. Be sure to align the tuning machine so the mounting pin falls into the receiving hole
in the tuning rail. Tighten nuts.

GENERAL CARE:
Caring for your Traveler Guitar locking tuning machines is similar to standard tuning machines. The gears are sealed and
self lubricating.
·!!!!!!!!Re-install Locking Heads.
·!!!!!!!!To re-install the Tuning Rail onto body, first wipe off the body and tuning rail to ensure a clean and tight fit. Now
tighten the two string rail screws being cautious to not over-tighten them.
·!!!!!!!!Install E, A and D Strings by threading them through their respective holes in the locking tuning machine post. It is
not necessary to give excess string to wind around the post. Pulling the string taught, then tightening the Locking Head to
pinch the string in place should hold them securely. Tune to pitch.
·!!!!!!!!Repeat this process for the G, B and E strings.

Traveler Guitar locking tuning machines are warranted for a period of three (3) years from the date of the original
purchase. The warranty is only eligible to the original owner, and the Traveler Guitar locking tuning machines must have
been purchased from an authorized Traveler Guitar dealer.
Traveler Guitar will replace or repair, at its discretion, any tuning machine or part thereof, which is found by Traveler
Guitar to be defective. Traveler Guitar reserves the right to use original replacement materials or materials of similar
design at the time of the repair.
To become eligible for warranty service, the original purchaser must:
1. Submit a completed warranty card or online registration form to Traveler Guitar.
2. Contact Traveler Guitar to obtain a Return Authorization Code before returning any instrument for service.
3. Provide proof of purchase with all requests for warranty service (original receipt.)
4. Be responsible for all freight and transportation to and from Traveler Guitar’s facility in Redlands, CA.
The Traveler Guitar Warranty does not cover:
1. Hardware that has been altered or modified in any way.
2. Hardware that has been subjected to extreme temperature or humidity, chemicals, synthetic materials or other
abnormal conditions.
3. Wear, discoloration or marks on the finish.
4. Hardware that have been damaged due to misuse or neglect.
5. Normal wear and tear to hardware.
