Setting up the power supply

How it Works:
The tube buffer uses one (1) NOS GE 5670 tube. It’s anticipated life span under normal operation,
[the tube] should not need to be replaced. However, tubes are consumable devices like lightbulbs
and the lament may fail any any time. Tube rolling is the listener’s choice, our designers have
spent many hours listening to different tubes before selecting the one they felt was the best sound
for a reasonable investment. Our warranty is only valid for the factory supplied tube. The tube is not
covered under this warranty.
The tube draws on the DC current presenting a stable load. By turning the switch to one of three
preset loadings you add or decrease the amount of tube power draw you add to the load. The
brightness of the tube visually increases with higher loading settings. Note: The switch does not
add volume gain, it just increases the vacuum tube loading on the AC current.

Using your new dc linear tube buffered
power supply
1. Locate the Three position Gain selector switch for the tube loadingt settings and set it to low.
2. Locate the tube output toggle switch and switch it on. (move it to the left)
3. Using the three position gain select the low, mid or high setting.
4. This setting allows for nding the optimal tube loading for the attached equipment.
5. In most cases the mid setting is the most desirable.
6. It is recommended to disengage the tube (switch it off when not in use) to avoid using the tube
when not listening. This will also extend tube life. Switching the tube on and off rapidly will also
shorten tube life expectancy.
