Leg Kit Assembly
1. The installer must reference the kit instructions
and have completed the assembly of the Wall
Frame Kit PSSTND02. The Leg Kit will attach
to the Wall Frame Assembly to produce a com-
plete Stand.
The installer does not have to mount the Wall
Frame to a stud wall when using the Leg Kit
components.
2. Layout all components as shown in Figure 1
and confirm that nothing is missing.
3. Place a Gusset on each end of the Short Strut as
shown in Figure 2. The edge of each Gusset
should be flush with the end of the strut. The
alignment tab will protrude past the end of the
strut.
4. Thread a nut onto the end of a T-Bolt as shown
in Figure 2. Install a T-Bolt and nut through the
opening in each Gusset and into the channel of
the strut. Tightening the nut will cause the bolt
to turn clockwise 90°. Tighten the nut and con-
firm that the T-Bolt rotated 90° and is fully
engaging the channel of the strut.
For ease of installation, it is best to lower the
T-Bolt and nut down in to the strut as shown
in Figure 2. Note that the end of each T-Bolt
has a mark to indicate the orientation of the
bolt head. This mark can be used to confirm
that the T-Bolt has rotated the entire 90°.
Proper installation and tightening of the T-
Bolts are critical to maintain the integrity of
the completed stand. All fasteners must be
torqued to a minimum of 25 ft-lbs. Improper
installation of the T-Bolts could lead to fail-
ure and result in serious injury or substantial
property damage.
5. Measure and mark each Long Strut 6” from the
bottom. Position the Short Strut between the
Long Struts with the Gussets oriented down-
ward as shown in Figure 3. The bottom of the
Short Strut should be aligned with the marks on
the Long Struts. Install a T-Bolt and nut
through each Gusset and into the channel of the
Long Strut. Tightening the nut will cause the
bolt to turn clockwise 90°. Tighten the nut and
confirm that the T-Bolt rotated 90° and is fully
engaging the channel of the strut.

6. Place the long side of the Left and Right
Brackets on the bottom of the Wall Frame Long
Struts as shown in Figure 3. The short side of
each bracket should be flush with the bottom of
each strut. Install two T-Bolts and nuts through
each bracket and into the channels of the struts.
Tightening the nut will cause the bolt to turn
clockwise 90°. Tighten the nut and confirm that
the T-Bolt rotated 90° and is fully engaging the
channel of the strut.
7. Install two Leveling Feet on the bottom of each
Leg Strut. The bottom of the Leg Strut is the
side that has the outer lip of the threaded sleeve
exposed. Hand tighten only, since the feet will
need to be adjusted later to level the stand.
8. Install end caps on the ends of each Leg Strut.
Note that two end caps are supplied with the
Leg Kit and two end caps were leftover from
the Wall Stand Kit.
9. Install Gussets on the top of each Leg Strut as
shown in Figure 4. The edge of the Gusset
should be 3” from the rear of the Leg Strut.
Install a T-Bolt and nut through each Gusset and
into the channel of the Leg Strut. Tightening
the nut will cause the bolt to turn clockwise 90°.
Tighten the nut and confirm that the T-Bolt
rotated 90° and is fully engaging the channel of
the strut.
The position of the Gusset on the Leg Strut is
critical to the stability of the Stand.
Improper positioning could lead to tipping
over of the Stand and Boiler resulting in seri-
ous injury or substantial property damage.
10. Attach each Leg Strut to the bottom of the Wall
Frame assembly as shown in Figure 4. Install a
T-Bolt and nut through each Gusset and into the
channel of the Long Strut of the Wall Frame.
Tightening the nut will cause the bolt to turn
clockwise 90°. Tighten the nut and confirm that
the T-Bolt rotated 90° and is fully engaging the
channel of the strut.
11. Install two T-Bolts and nuts through each Left
and Right Bracket and into the channel of each
Leg Strut. Tightening the nut will cause the bolt
to turn clockwise 90°. Tighten the nut and con-
firm that the T-Bolt rotated 90° and is fully
engaging the channel of the strut.

12. Place the completed stand in the desired boiler
location and adjust the feet as necessary to level
the stand. Tighten the locknut on each foot
using a 3/4” wrench
13. Locate the boiler mounting bracket supplied
with the boiler. Level and center the boiler
mounting bracket on the Wall Frame Assembly
and install using the bolts provided with the
Wall Frame Kit. Ensure that the upper edge of
the bracket is away from the Wall Frame
Assembly.
Boiler Mounting
1. Ensure that all bolts are tight before mounting
the boiler.
se extreme care not to drop the boiler or
cause bodily injury while lifting or mounting
the boiler. Once mounted, verify that the
boiler is securely attached to the bracket.
Failure to comply with the above guidelines
could result in property damage, personal
injury or death.
2. The boiler is too heavy and bulky for a single
person to lift and mount; A minimum of 2 peo-
ple are required for mounting the boiler.
3. Install the boiler making sure the boiler mount-
ing lip located along the upper edge of the rear
jacket engages the boiler mounting bracket.
Ensure the boiler is seated properly and is
secure.
